Methodology

Methodology for Reviato Insights

The methodology behind Reviato insights explains what the data represents, how market snapshots are built, and where the limits of interpretation begin.

Use this page as the canonical explanation of how market-level insight pages are assembled.

Local page methodology blocks should stay concise and link back here for the full standard.

Data sources and scope

Reviato insights summarize public platform data at market scope. Published review counts describe the total visible review volume attached to listings in scope, while sampled review texts describe the subset analyzed for themes, quotes, and distributions.

Aggregation and comparison

Locality, region, and country pages aggregate multiple listings into one comparable snapshot. That pooled view is useful for pattern detection, but it is not a substitute for a listing-by-listing audit.

Theme and quote handling

Complaint and praise sections come from analyzed review-text samples, not from every published review. Quotes are illustrative excerpts chosen to make the measured signal visible, not a complete archive of source reviews.

Limitations

Individual businesses may differ sharply from the pooled view. When theme analysis is unavailable or platform comparability is limited, the page should say so directly rather than imply confidence the data does not support.
