Private feedback / Sharing

Review sharing

Private first. Public by choice.

After saving private feedback, a guest may choose to open a public review page. The choice is available for every rating, and Reviato does not post on their behalf.

Private feedback

A direct line.
Not a dead end.

Give guests a private way to raise concerns early. With an email address and permission, your team can reply directly and work toward a resolution before a guest chooses to post a public review.

“A warm welcome at check-in. The room was fine. We would have liked clearer breakfast times.”

How it works

What managers can act on

Public review choice

Offer the same eligible platforms for any private rating. The customer decides whether to write a public review.

Low rating

Keep the issue inside recovery work and contact the customer when consent allows. That does not remove the public-review choice.

Consent and identity

Preserve the customer details that public platforms often hide from operators.

03

How it works

What review redirect is for

Review sharing is the step after a guest has already written private feedback. Private feedback is not automatically posted. An eligible customer can choose Google or Tripadvisor as a public-review destination regardless of whether their private rating is low, high, or unset.

Reviato does not post for them, fill a third-party form, or hide a low rating. The guest chooses whether to open the public page. Low ratings may also route to manager follow-up when the guest left contact details and consent; that does not remove or reduce the public choice.

The sharing screen shows the saved rating, the copy-and-open path, and a way to edit the private note first.

How it works

What it is not

This is not review gating, auto-posting, or form automation on third-party sites. The customer decides whether to post publicly.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Which platforms can customers share to?

Reviato currently supports customer-controlled sharing to Google and Tripadvisor.

Does Reviato post for the customer?

No. The customer chooses whether to post and controls the final public review.

What happens after a low rating?

The team can follow up privately when the customer provided contact details and consent.

Is this review gating?

No. The public step is customer-controlled and low ratings are handled through recovery, not suppression.
