A restaurant with a beautiful view. Atmospheric, the food was very good, although we waited 55 minutes for the main courses. The restrooms were dirty and the water was cold. As for the room service, it was a disaster. The behavior of Ms. Anto (the room manager) was unacceptable. She had no manners and was completely clueless about basic customer service. She completely ruined the charm of the place. I wouldn't recommend her because of her.
Absolutely unacceptable. We were served meat from the previous day, which should never happen. After we noticed it, the staff apologized and offered another sandwich with today’s meat, but that does not excuse the lack of hygiene and care in the first place. This kind of mistake puts customers’ health at risk. I won’t be coming back.
As I had already been to this restaurant a few times before and it had always been very tasty and pleasant, we decided to invite our friends from Ireland who were visiting Edinburgh. Unfortunately, this visit turned out to be very disappointing. Let me start with the waiting time. While we ordered starters, our friends ordered only main courses. Despite this, they waited more than 50 minutes for their food — exactly the same amount of time as us, even though we had starters beforehand. Overall, we waited nearly an hour for the main dishes. The cleanliness of the restaurant was also an issue. Both the women’s and men’s toilets were dirty, and there was no hot water to wash hands in the men’s toilet. The tables were not properly cleaned, and the carpet in the main dining area clearly had not been vacuumed for a very long time. As for the food: the portions were quite small. Although the food was generally tasty, it was nothing memorable. There are many much better Thai restaurants in Edinburgh. However, the biggest disappointment was the behavior of the woman at the reception, (Ms.Anto) which was completely unprofessional and rude. While we and our friends (who did not order starters) had already been waiting over 50 minutes, she came to our table and asked if she could add an extra table next to us. I politely said no and mentioned that it would be nice to be informed when our food would arrive, as we had been waiting for almost an hour. At that point, her attitude changed dramatically. She appeared offended and angry, walked away, and returned a few minutes later to argue sarcastically that we had not been waiting that long. Shortly after, together with another staff member, she removed the table in an aggressive manner, showing zero respect or concern for the safety of the guests sitting behind us — even hitting another customer with the table. She left one chair in the middle, which new guests ended up using as a coat hanger. For the rest of our visit, she kept staring at our table and making comments to other employees in a clearly unpleasant and spiteful way, simply because we did not agree to the extra table. she is often cold and rude, which is also reflected in other customer reviews. A restaurant that presents itself as being of a high standard should employ staff who can maintain professionalism and emotional control. Staff members who cannot control their emotions and openly take out their frustration on guests do not belong in this industry. Overall, this experience left a very bad impression, and I cannot recommend this place to anyone. The manager or head of the dining room who worked here a few years ago would never have allowed such unacceptable behavior. If the restaurant wants to continue being perceived as a high-level establishment, it should seriously reconsider who it employs in front-of-house positions, as this person is the first point of contact with guests and represents the restaurant’s business card.
The vegan tan tan ramen was just perfect, amazing, everything-that's-good-in-the-world kind of good. Also the staff were so kind and friendly, and the place is cute, clean and warm.
Absolutely deserves 5 stars! Wingstop Edinburgh is super clean and hygienic which makes the experience even better. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, always happy to help. The food is full of flavour and tastes amazing every time. My all-time favourites of Wingstop are the Boneless Garlic Parmesan Wings and the Cheesy Fries always delicious and never disappoint.
Absolutely outstanding place! If i were a local, this would 100% be my spot. The atmosphere and decorum is amazing. Everything was very clean and very welcoming. The people working, were extremely lovely, very present, friendly, and very easy to communicate with. Our food was excellent. Very hearty meals with large portions, with well balanced flavours. We ended our night with a couple of drinks, which were very delicious! We had two Copper Stills specials; Edinburgh Velvet and Highlander, which can only be highly recommended. I will absolutely be back. Thank you for a lovely evening.
Unfortunately we got seated near bar all I could smell was dirty bins .staff were bustling around the area it was very noisy . Meal was good but could of been hotter in temperature ... A bit disappointing..
A bit disappointed. Looking forward after reading great reviews in tabloid. Went for 5 course tasting menu with matching drinks. Arrived and shown seat, had to hang up own coat. This is not really a problem normally in regular restaurant, just I expected to be looked after more in a ‘fine dining’ establishment. Took a while to be attended to at table to get a drink. First 3 courses Luke warm. After pointing this out the 4th course arrived on a piping hot plate, but the food still lukewarm. The restaurant itself was ok. The toilets were clean but not particularly luxurious. White spray paint W for women and M for men on toilet doors. Lack of attention to detail. Did not feel special at all. Food did taste nice and eventually had different waiter who was very nice and helpful. Overall 3 star. Wouldn’t return.
A frustrating experience. We visited on a busy Friday evening and had booked in advance. Our reservation was at 8.30pm to be told our table would be a while. It was 9pm before we sat down. The staff seemed overly keen to take our orders, twice we had to say could they just give us a little time to study the menu. We ordered 2 starters and poppadoms to begin. The poppadoms arrived but no starters. A half hour later, our main courses arrived, still no starters! The food was sent back and we waited another half hour! We were still eating our main meal at 11pm and it was obvious the staff wanted us out. The food was nice, not fantastic and certainly not the best Indian food we have ever eaten, the curry sauces were very ‘samey’. I would say the naan bread was delicious though. Was it good value for money, no! Was the service good, definitely some communication errors along the way, but polite non the less, was it a slick and efficient service, a definite no, it was chaotic to be honest. There seemed to be a lot of stressed waiters and waitresses! The wine, be careful, we chose the Pinot Grigio which was the most expensive White as there was little to choose from, it was like drinking grape juice and only 10% VOL, it was not a quality wine nor good value at well over £30 a bottle and no mention of proof on the wine list, which any good restaurant should highlight. Would we go back, possibly, but only if the restaurant’s owners up their game in terms of customer service and efficiency. The Ladies toilets were also filthy which was off putting to say the least! Regular checks should be put in place, to ensure guests receive a clean environment to ‘powder their noses’! Much room for improvements!
1st time at this restaurant tonight for a family birthday celebration. Can’t fault a single thing. Staff are amazingly friendly and attentive. The food was top class, We had many different dishes and each one was distinct in flavour and cooked to perfection. Great atmosphere and very clean (including the toilets, spotlessly clean) I was pleasantly surprised at our final bill, very reasonably priced for the quantity/quality of the food and fantastic service we received, would definitely recommend a visit here and we will visit again.
A beautifully designed and clean Indian restaurant in Edinburgh with a welcoming ambience. The food was excellent, with plenty of great vegetarian options. I especially loved the Tandoori stuffed mushrooms from the starter menu. Darryl was friendly and professional, and the entire team provided attentive and friendly service.
A bistro of few tables. Cuisine with attention to ingredients and combinations. Few well-cooked dishes. Clean environment and excellent service. Pay attention to closing time. Congratulations

Very bad experience for mothers day. We had a table booked at 2:45 and was a disgusting experience. Food all over the floor and the station very dirty. Most items weren't available and staff was no where to be seen. It is not fair to charge the same price all day if they can't keep it up to standards. I waited for the prawns curry for over an hour. Then we were kicked out just after 1:30 hours and I got upset because we had to wait for the buffet to be refilled. I've been a regular costumer since 2016 and never expirenced something so disgusting. I work in hospitality myself and I am a chef too and to be honest the manager was also not nice saying that is their policy 1.30 hours but it's also policy to have a clean and full buffet. I wouldn't come if my kids didn't love the place that much but certainly we will take a long break form it.

I found it on Instagram and was afraid of another overrated place. Luckily, it's great and super delicious. (Dirty Diana yum)
