$10 for a small mid matcha is robbery.
$2.5 for Water and $3.5 for small herb tea seem to be higher than regular. In the food court for drinks, I don't have lots of choices, so I have to pick something.
1. Host was super rude. 2. We came in with high expectations for the food And it was the biggest disappointment. 3. Take your money somewhere else, food was not worth the price! Never had steak that had a game taste to it. Chives pancakes overcooked. The only good dish was the fried rice and the noodles.
A large selection of fresh food. You can sit down and have food and drink from the fridge. Pleasant staff and good prices. Plus you can use clean restrooms near Times square. My favourite place in NY.
A little pricey, but one of the best cafe mochas I've ever had!
A small and cute cafe near Seaport. I usually walk my pup around the neighborhood and like to stop by this cafe from time to time (my pup also drags me to that cafe so she can pick up some crumbs on the ground). I always pick up a bag of Pao de Queijo. And this time, brought some to work to share with my coworkers which they really enjoyed. My fave is the original but they do have other options like everything bagel seasoning and bacon with cheese. They also have other Brazilian pastries and sandwiches which I have yet to try. Will be back to try their coffee and other pastries. But if you enjoy Brazilian cheese bread, definitely a must try.
***UPDATED 4/26/18*** Patisserie Chanson USED to be my favorite bakery in NYC ever since they opened. I received rude disrespectful service from an employee on April 10, 2018 who literally belligerently yelled at me, ignored me, walked away, and started to joke with another employee instead of trying to help correct the fact that she overcharged me for my order. Eventually, another employee came to my rescue and gave me a partial refund. I suspect the lack of proper customer service was fueled by discrimination. I'm a young looking Asian woman and I was wearing my ugly workout clothes. In comparison, the customer after me who was offered good customer service and the BOGO promotion was an older, well dressed Caucasian woman. I don't think it was mere coincidence that we were treated differently based on our looks! With these higher prices, I expect at least mediocre service. They couldn't even deliver that! I tried to contact management multiple times since April 11, 2018 to urge them to train their staff better or else they would continue to lose loyal customers. Shirin wrote back promising management would be in touch back on April 19. It's now April 26! I'm done wasting my time with a company that obviously doesn't give a damn about their customers. Chef Rory Macdonald- I still adore you and your food/drinks! Your one employee needs improvement desperately! Too bad I can't come back and purchase that celebration cake for this weekend and future special occasions, show off this patisserie to my friend that's visiting NYC next month, enjoy another dessert tasting with my friends, partake in your afternoon tea, or try new seasonal treats. Good bye and good luck! You're going to need it with your current staff! If anyone from management actually cares to investigate: The time stamp from my receipt was April 10, 2018 at 6:12:58pm. Transaction 600034. Order: 583. Don't worry. I've learned my lesson. I won't hold my breath this time waiting for a reply or expect to be treated to proper customer service.
A little bit expensive (a small cheesecake - approx 2 inch / 5 cm in diameter costs 3.50 USD) but it is worth it
A nice secluded place with a pleasant ambience setting and lighting, we ordered a decaffeinated espresso, orange juice, turkey and avocado sandwich and some scones. It costed us $32 now that’s expensive for some so called breakfast. I must say it’s a decent place, quiet with a transparent environment seeing the food items being prepared. A great business model. Would I be back…No! There’s other cheaper eateries than Sarabeth’s bakery that’s within Chelsea market.
10/10 experience in the heart of times square. Good coffee at a great price while in a city like New York. I recommend coming to breakfast and trying the pastries they make.
A cake lovers paradise. Every kind you can imagine. Plus by the slice too. Friendly service and a small cafe.
A fast food place but with a reasonable number of tables, this restaurant is mostly filled with students from an adjacent college. It’s all self-service and organization is confusing. Customers need to get different foods from different areas of the restaurant. Best to go with someone else, so they can save a table while you maneuver around to get what you want. A small menu is adequate for an informal breakfast with a couple of different kinds of egg sandwiches, plenty of pastries and good coffee. But the superior dish is something you need to order out: Chocolate Babka sold in loaves. While on the one hand, it’s hard to screw up this delicious type of coffee cake, suffice it to say that Breads Bakery offers tons of it and the cake is delicious, even for its kind!

Watch out in the box!!! We took 2 sandwiches and 2 Coke for an amount of 51 dollars ... no time to ask the price that the cashier puts pressure on you to pay ... pity!!!!

Very nice neighborhood place with a smart menu, excellent food and very decent prices for the area. I normally eat there for breakfast. The French toast is made from big slices of challah with real maple syrup included; no extra charge. Nice room, lovely service and the coffee is great.
