A gorgeous restaurant with some excellent food. Service is as on point as you would expect. I had the prix fixe pre theatre menu. A delicious ceviche followed by a perfect risotto. Portion sizes are small so I ordered a side of delicious broccoli. Had a cheese plate for my third course.
Amazing food, brings me back to Shanghai albeit for atleast 10x the price. While the food was great I thought the drinks were excessively expensive. £4 per person for a hot cup of Chinese tea!
Cultural appropriation equal garbage food. Borsch was not delicious at all, barely had any meat, chicken Kyiv wasn’t delicious at all it was flavourless and just greasy. The only thing that we order that was actually russian was pelmeni and they weren’t that bad, cause I don’t know how bad of a cook you should be to not make pelmeni correctly. it took too long to cook all the food. Well anyways overpriced russian restaurant ones again trying to bait and misinform foreigners about cuisines
36 pound for 2 people with a beer and some free small starter. Great before the theatre
5 Star food service and price
A delicious meal with a wonderful server in a beautiful ambiance. My server was so knowledgeable about the menu, and then I heard her say to another table that it was her second week! I thought she had been working there for years given how much she knew of the menu. I ordered the lamb special which was accompanied by both potatoes and vegetables, which made it a good amount of food for the price. The ambiance was gorgeous as well.
Finally got around to posting the review of Restaurant Gorden Ramsey his three Michelin starred signature restaurant in London which was a very special treat for my 50th. To set the scene we opted for the 7 course taster menu called the prestige and matching wine accompaniment. The good stuff Firstly the food was outstanding. The flavours the chef managed to pack into the crystal clear consume was amazing. Layers of flavours coming in waves telling the story of what ingredients were used in its creation. Truly the finest consume I have ever tasted. There were a couple of other things that neither of us thought went together in our opinion but food and taste is very personal and the rest was fantastic. The lows: The cheese trolley was a real disappointment to be honest. It was stacked full of various cheeses from local to French and the waitress responsible for this gave her suggestions on what we should try. Firstly I should say that the portions of cheese were tiny and neither of us liked two of the cheeses but we weren't offered any replacements despite these two being the cheeses that she suggested. The biggest let down was the service. We were one of the first tables to arrive, three tables arrived together, to start with they were so attentive you felt like you couldn't have a conversation as they were on top of you all of the time. It got so bad at one point, I picked up a pallet cleaners off the plate and just before I could put it back down a waitress tried to take the plate away! The last service disappointment was as the evening went on the service got slower and slower which is to be expected and not a problem at all. But we paid a lot of money for the accompanying wine matched to the food for each course. The wine servings were so small that we ran out 3 times between courses! We were only offered a top up to make up for the delay in service on the final desert wine as we had finished this before the long awaited desert arrived, but we went short for the main and fish dishes having to finish these course with only water. All in all a great experience and fantastic food but at this level there are too many others we want to try so we wouldn't rush back.
The place is tiny but very nice and the food is quite good, BUT the choice is very limited, prices are too high for what you get, and we have been charged a full 12% service charge to eat sitting at the bar waiting long time from one dish to the other. Wine was mediocre and expensive too. I understand the position in central London, but we won't be back.
10 of us went for for dinner between colleagues. The food was very average as well as the service and the room amazingly noisy. Definitely not worth the price.
Visited on Thu, 02 November 2023 Very, very special restaurant as 100% Gluten Free. Much appreciated the opportunity to drop in to the restaurant a few days before our visit to select our table. On arrival, our request to store our coats until the end of the meal, was courteously carried out. Tasty food, nicely presented. Generous portions. Professional, friendly service.
3 of us for breakfast and we were all delighted with the service, quality of food, value for money and quirky atmosphere. Particular thanks to Ahmed, our waiter who was very pleasant, full of smile and very efficient.
5* service. Booked weeks ago for two couples as had eaten on a previous trip to London and wanted authentic Greek Cypriot food. Arrived to a restaurant with no electricity but sat us down with a candle and complimentary drink and proceeded to go Old Skool and fire up the BBQ and we ate like kings. Husband a Coeliac and one vegetarian both beautifully catered for by wonderful older waiter and it all added up to a wonderful, memorable evening. The Sheftelia sausages frim the grill and proper Greek salad with oregano sprinkled on the Feta to the gorgeous rice, huge portions ans great prices. Just wonderful. Moments walk from Mornington Crescent tube and well worth booking. You can keep the deadful chain that is supposidly The Real Greek, there is nothing real or Greek about it! This is the REAL AUTHETIC Greek.

We had been looking forward to coming to Rules for a long time, and we were underwhelmed and disappointed. There was a very long wait for food and when it arrived, it was cold. We both opted for steak and when it arrived, it was 4 slices and not the full steak we were expecting! The creamed spinach was tasty but sadly, stone cold! The dessert was nice. The wine is extremley overpriced and we asked for 125ml and they still brought 175ml. The second round of wine didn't seem to be the same as the one we had had previously. I wish we had listened to the recent reviews and not gone! Save yourself a lot of money and go somewhere else.

I booked for a business lunch based on a recommendation from a colleague, I cant fault the atmosphere or service which was efficient and friendly, however, when it came to the food, I was extremely disappointed. I ordered the 'Some like it hot' pizza, expecting the warmth of chilli and the smoky spicy richness of njuda with the kick it promised, what an utter let down, the pizza was bland, no heat whatsoever and total lack of flavour, do the chefs not test their food to make sure it lives up to the description? I have had better tasting pizza from a hole in the wall vendor. Such a shame given the price and reputation of this restaurant.
