A Massive Decline in Quality – Chaotic, Freezing, and Disappointing I visited Hyderabadi Kitchen on a busy Saturday night in mid-February, and the entire experience was nothing short of chaotic. I actually visited this restaurant when they first opened, and back then, the ambiance, service, and food were top-notch. Unfortunately, it feels like they are taking their customers for granted now. Here is a breakdown of why this visit was so frustrating: • Freezing and Noisy Atmosphere: We were seated near the main door, which wouldn’t have been a problem if there was actually a heater to warm the place up. To make matters worse, the door must have slammed open and shut at least 100 times during our meal. Between delivery drivers rushing in and out, the constant, loud slamming noise completely ruined our appetite. • Hygiene and Layout Issues: Shockingly, kitchen staff were carrying kitchen waste and garbage right through the main restaurant passage while we were trying to eat. This is a massive issue and incredibly off-putting. • Severely Understaffed: For a busy Saturday night, there was only one server handling the floor, which heavily contributed to the chaotic environment. • Subpar Food: We ordered Biryani, Dabeli, and Chicken Fried Rice, and the quality was very poor. The Chicken Fried Rice was so overwhelmingly spicy that I couldn’t even finish half of it. • The "Bottled Water Trap": Because the food was intolerably spicy, we naturally asked for some tap water. The server told us they only serve bottled water and refused tap water. Considering they are serving excessively spicy dishes, forcing customers to pay for bottled water feels like an absolute trap. It is a real shame to see a place that started with such high standards fall this far. The service is now subpar, the dining environment is uncomfortable, and the food has lost its touch. I won't be returning anytime soon.
A bit dirty in the dining area. Self serving and so small tables. The plates are plastic and not ideal for eating in. Overall the food was nice and well seasoned.
A fabulous carvery lunch was had on Thursday. efficient friendly and accomodating staff, clean and comfortable- what more could ya want
A lovely small Irish restaurant, food was good, staff was friendly, it was clean and not too expensive, a good place, if you want to have a quiet dinner and nice food
Amazing all around. The food is fresh and delicious. The staff is wonderful and seems to take pride in their work, which they should. And the restaurant is clean and well kept.
... ok, maybe a text message saying "Avoid"... Not very happy at all about this place. Service snotty, pursed lips and all. The mussles where boring and bland. It's not advanced cuisine, this dish, and I have had better mussles and fries for half the prize many times in other places. The fries had that boring run-of-the-mill generic "grill seasoning" that you buy in supermarkets. And that's probably where they found the fries too by the way. The starter with Fried calamari was good but you had to pay extra 2,50 euros... You got three of them on a plate and that was it. Farcical. It's not cosy, just a bit sloppy and at the same time pretentious. It's dirty, a bit greasy and the decor is dated. The food isn't cooked with love and the portions are too small. They have 10% automatic service charge too, not worth it. The bill was risible, very expensive for that kind of bland, uninspired dishes. Avoid.
8.30 pm Friday reservation food excellent as usual but service very rushed, staff cleaning with sprays by 10.30 pm pity
A group of us visited for lunch. We were very impressed with the quality and portion sizes of the food served. The restaurant was busy and buzzy for a Sunday lunch. However, when I went to the female toilet I was rather horrified by the state of the floor. Corners and other areas have not been cleaned for some time and were filthy. I would suggest getting stuck with some bleach to bring the hygiene level up to that of the food. This problem is just a symptom of laziness and is unacceptable.
21/mar. My last evening in Dublin I chanced my arm in getting in here as didn’t have a reservation and it worked used to come in here regularly when I lived in Dublin. Drinks starters mains came swiftly. And plenty of it to. Can not fault this restaurant from the drink s to food and the staff also very clean even toilets. Thank you guys.
31 Lennox was the perfect start to our morning! From the moment we entered the restaurant, my wife and I had a great experience. We were greeted by the host and seated immediately. The restaurant was clean. The music was good and food & coffee were great. The host was very friendly and shared great conversation. After breakfast, he asked us what we had planned for the rest of the day and gave us travel advice on the best way to get to the nearby county. We’re so happy we went there for breakfast and we’ll definitely go back.
6 of us ate here recently (Including 2 children). Everything about it was good. We all felt safe. Vaccination certs and identification was checked. The restaurant was spotlessly clean. The food was excellent and good value. Our waitress was very efficient. We will return

We visited this restaurant and ordered the steak meal deal for two, and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience from start to finish. The steaks were extremely chewy, almost impossible to enjoy. The wine that came with the meal tasted vinegary and didn’t seem right at all. The overall condition of the restaurant was also quite poor. The place felt grubby and not very clean, and the toilets were in a terrible state. The ladies’ toilet had no soap, which is unacceptable for any restaurant. On top of that, the floors were very slippery, which felt quite unsafe. We paid the full bill but did not leave a tip, as we genuinely did not feel the experience justified it. Overall, it was a very disappointing visit and we would not return.
