Big disappointment… The food was, undescribable… I had the chicken Milanese. The chicken cutlets were deep fried. They look like they came bagged and frozen the spinach. Arugula salad on top was pathetic the sweet sauce they put on it did not even go with the dish… It was very underwhelming overpriced, and tasteless… My friend had the mushroom Ragu pasta. I was not impressed with that at all bunch of mushrooms in demi-glaze with Buka pasta… Was very Denny’s like food certainly not worth the price. The service was not worth her tip. We tipped well just to get out of there so we didn’t have to wait for change I had to ask for the dishes that were dirty and piled up and used to be removed from my table. She obviously was an order taker, not a server for sure. I will never go there again and certainly never refer anyone . They should be ashamed!
Dirty place👎
Disgustingly dirty with expensive drinks horrible will never return puke!
A pleasantly unpretentious dive bar, this is a solid choice for a casual, easygoing night. The crowd is typically relaxed, and the space, while occasionally a little crowded, is surprisingly neat.
Amazing place. Great menu, I think I could’ve ordered anything and been happy. Atmosphere was super relaxed. Bathroom was super clean. No notes!
Amazing! First time, good place to meet people and clean place. ……..
Awful - Worst Guinness in New York City with an unfriendly staff. The Staff was not welcoming and the pint of Guinness tasted like the tap and line had not been cleaned for weeks; although the pub did have an unwelcoming bleach smell to it! We did not stay for lunch as we had planned.
Been here a few times. Food is mediocre. Recently discovered their kitchen has a sanitary score of “C”, which is NYC’s lowest rating. This means they have 28 or more sanitary violations and are at risk of closure.
Came here for drinks while staying at the hotel last weekend—my friends and I didn’t have reservations but luckily they had a table available for us! Immediately we noticed how warm the lounge was, they had the heat on way too high—we were so hot, even with our coats off. Service was good, our server was friendly. My drink was terrible—ordered a Dirty Gin Martini and they did not serve it ice cold, there was no signs of ice used!! The martini was served room temperature—it was horrific. I personally walked over to the bar and asked one of the bartenders to “chill” my martini. After that, it tasted as how it should be. We also tried to order the Caviar Bump Martini but were told they ran out of caviar! Ambiance wise, it’s nice here. Has a fancy feel, and is dim lit. Outside patio has a good view of the city, nice for photos.
Big clean bar, typical Irish. Friendly staff, good service, warm atmosphere. Flat screens with sports. After x beers you can order good stuff to eat. Prices ok. Will go back when in NY.
During a solo trip to the city for theater and fun I discovered this gem! It will now be a must visit each trip. I wish I had time to return a second night during my trip, it was that good. I selected The Glass Door Tavern based upon reviews and location for a 7pm show. I ordered the Tuna Tartare and although I am an avid traveler, this was absolutely pheromonal! Hands down the best I have ever had. I sat at the bar and had the best dirty martini in the city. Eddie the bartender is a keeper for sure. Just prior to me leaving it started pouring down rain and I needed to get the the theater. I ask Eddie if there was anyway he could find one that I could use which had been possibly left behind for more than days. Within 5 minutes Eddie appeared with an umbrella. Not only the best bartender on this trip but he turned into my hero that saved me from being drenched walking to the theater. I am already planning my return trip in the fall and The Glass Door Tavern will absolutely be on my MUST do list!
Everything we were looking for - $6 pints, ice cold too - which was very welcome given the 30 degree weather!! Clean toilets, friendly staff. Right in Times Square but still affordable. Couldn’t ask for more! So good we went back twice in the same day despite our first visit being several hours long!

Service was pretty bad, and slow. Best part of the dinner was the oysters, which you can’t really mess up. Ordered dirty martinis, don’t think they know that olive brine goes in those which is shocking given that it’s a bar room. Went to McDonald’s after spending $100pp.

The food was amazing and full of flavor. I especially liked how fresh everything tasted. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained. The staff were courteous and provided excellent service

Hostess has no clue how to welcome guests The food was mediocre The waiter was very pleasant but over subscribed No bus boy Empty dishes sat on the table 15 minutes Bill included $40 for one bottled water - I don’t believe it was in error The room was dirty The music awful So many better places

Randolph's is an institution located in the venerable Warwick Hotel in New York City. Randolph's is the perfect place for a "Dirty Martini" to end a day in New York City.
