$19 (including tax) for cup ramen with small portions ain't worth it
$56 for two breakfasts it’s the new normal now! Ordered eggs over easy received them over hard! Home fries way over cooked with 2 1/2 pieces of peameal bacon and half a small container of beans! This is apparently their signature breakfast but definitely was a one time visit only. Overpriced for what little you get!
* BEWARE * This restaurant engages in egregious markup practices. For example, the Margherita pizza if you dine-in is around $24. On Uber Eats, it’s $32. Even their discounts on Uber Eats are shady. They slash the prices to make it look like they’re really giving you a discount by listing the original price at an outrageous number. Even though I like their food, I will not be going here again. There are restaurants with better food that don’t have to resort to such embarrassing shady tactics to get business. 0/10
"Delicious and fresh patties! The taste is amazing, and they are perfectly baked with great flavors. Plus, the price is very reasonable for the quality they provide. Definitely worth every penny! Highly recommend trying them!"
"I want to give a special shoutout to the server who was a old lady there for making our dining experience truly memorable. Their attentiveness and friendly behavior enhanced our meal and made us feel valued guests. We really loved dining at matagali restaurant from the moment we arrived until we left , everything was very well handled. I'm already planning forward to my next visit.
2 patties + Kola Champagne is a staple order growing up in Toronto. $5 - can’t beat those prices in this day and age. Patties were a 7.8/10. Highlight was the patty crust. 👌🏽 If you’re at Union and you need something to hold you over until you catch the train, definitely a go to.💯
This was our first time visiting this restaurant. The staff were friendly, and the overall service was excellent. However, we were mistakenly charged for an item we did not order. Unfortunately, we didn’t notice this until we were already in the car. Upon reviewing the receipt, we saw that an appetizer had been added to our bill in error. My husband returned to the restaurant to address the issue. The server was very apologetic and promptly removed the item. However, the manager or supervisor showed little concern and did not extend any goodwill gesture. A small gesture—such as waiving the cost of the appetizer we did have, or offering a complimentary item on our next visit—would have gone a long way in leaving a more positive impression.
My boyfriend took me here for a birthday dinner . Thinking the Ritz I expected a lovely lobby and upscale glitzy type resto a nice treat for my birthday. I was underwhelmed by the lobby and the restaurant. It was a very bistro type feel similar to many other around town no wow. We were seated in a large booth that was not cosy. My partner moved the settings over as we felt the need to talk louder due to the distance. The cocktail menu was good and the wine list as expected. Nothing on the menu really jumped out at me. I decided on lamb as my main dish saving room for dessert. They were good to accommodate my garlic allergy. Which you would expect from chefs of this caliber. It was a rack of lamb done medium with a few sauteed asparagus and jus on the side. The jus was tasty and the lamb was seasoned well but by no means a $48 main. Very underwhelming I found and easy to find in many other restos. My partner opted for the Caeser salad to start and a filet well done. The salad wasdescribed as ok and my partner ate only 1/4 of it again lack lustre . The filet was a true disappointment my partner eats his meat well done ( I know but..)and most establishments can present a tasty still moist steak for him. Not here sadly it was dry and burnt. Again a disappointment for price and caliber this restaurant should be . We looked at the dessert menu and after the meh mains decided to go somewhere else. Sadly the house made limoncello and chocolate they gave us at the end were kinda the best part. I would think twice before coming here. The food nor the ambience were a wow. There are much better options for half the price . We found one for dessert.
We were there a second time as we were in the Hotel for a conference and tired. The service was slow. we were seated next to raucous dinner party and could barely hear ourselves speak The Cosmo raspberry martini seemed watery and I did not taste the alcohol. My oysters Rockefeller were very tiny and I was only sure that I found one oyster. The sauce was strangely sugary and bland. The Scallops main course was small, but okay. The Wedge salad was great. The greasy crab cakes were not crabby enough and filled with shredded protein that my husband said tasted the consistency of chicken. It is disappointing that this was the only restaurant open in the downtown Hilton. It is too expensive for a quality that is not high enough.
First time we came here for dinner and found the place was excellent. The food was good but the portions could really be more generous! The Tuna tartare cones were our favorite and we also love the beef tartare...again, would hope the portion be bigger.. The fisherman's ice cream was different and we really enjoyed it. The service was also very good and we had a great time!
My family of 4 people came here for the first time. It was me who want to try Korean food in spite that i 've never been to Korea before. But both of my sons have. They ordered several kinds of food for us. They gave us several side dishes which were all yummy. The bibimbap and cold noodle are my favorite. We also ordered soju both original one as well as fruit favor. Both were fantastic. The waiter and waitress spoke good English and rendered prompt services. The food came fast. The price is a bit expensive. But it worths it. We enjoyed dining here very much.
Another enthusiastic recommendation from server at hotel. He doubted we could get a reservation for Saturday night. When we said we could only get seats at the bar he said that’s good, it’s the best place. He was right. Watching the action close up and interacting with other customers was a great part of the night. The food here is exceptional. Great quality and generous serves. Our server helped us with some items with which we were unfamiliar and helped us to ensure we did not over order. We had taramosalata (refined elegant version) served with pita, smelts, perfectly cooked lamb cutlets, spanakopita (interesting spiral version). More than sufficient quantity. All this washed down with assyrtiko from Santorini. This was our most memorable Greek meal since the Greek islands. Great service and reasonable cost. Great value. Very highly recommended.

I ordered kimchi stew without tofu. It was delightful spicy but oh so tasty!!! We ordered chicken wings which were sweet and delicious. The server gave us extra kimchi. It's expensive. I'll come again

We recently had dinner at 360 Restaurant in the CN Tower in downtown Toronto. My husband had reserved a romantic table by the window and arranged a small extra with champagne and strawberries, which we appreciated. The table location was nice, but it’s worth noting that the restaurant slowly rotates. If you have a sensitive balance system, this movement could potentially cause motion sickness. We were first served a small plate of melon wrapped in prosciutto, which was pleasant but quite minimal. The menu itself was somewhat difficult to navigate. For starters, my husband ordered the grilled octopus and I chose the beef tartare. The octopus was good and well prepared. Unfortunately, the beef tartare was disappointing. Instead of a typical tartare texture, it resembled finely ground beef and was presented as a flat, round patty—almost like a small pancake. It was not something I would recommend. For the main course we both ordered the Nova Scotia lobster. You can choose either half (65 CAD) or a whole lobster (125 CAD), and we both chose the whole lobster. Based on the price and description, we expected something more substantial than simply being served one large lobster each. The final bill came to over 400 CAD, which felt very disappointing considering the overall experience. We were honestly left without words. For comparison, we have dined at places like Joey’s and The Keg where a steak and lobster combination costs around 60 CAD, with a lobster add-on of about 25 CAD. In those cases, the value for money felt far better. While the view from the CN Tower is certainly unique, the food quality and overall value did not match the price in our experience.
