After waiting 45 minutes for our order we found out they lost it, after re ordering and waiting again the sushi was very sub par. very loud too. The booth seats were extremely uncomfortable
Am extremely sad to report that the boy in cashier desk sounds racist. Poor service and selective good service for certain groups of people
Decent food. Don't pay for music on the jukebox. If Tina doesn't like it she'll just skip it and use the vacant patio as an excuse. Wasted much money until I learned this.
A FANTASTIC PLACE WITH AWESOME SERVICE BY THE PRETTY ELISHA THE PORTIONS WERE GREAT AND QUIET.
A little spice in life is good ! Loved the food, quiet atmosphere and friendly service. Spring rolls, pad Thai and green curry were suggested, and much enjoyed. I owe thanks to other reviewers for their posts, they gave me courage to try something new again 😀
A nice quiet place for a meal before the theatre or concert. Excellent food and service!
15 years ago this was a nice, gentlemans and lady hangout. Thick carpets, big chairs, older experienced waiters, great food. Today it's run by snarky millenial managers, belligerent waitresses, crowded with loud drugged up rich punks and the food is mediocre at best. Did Drake buy them out? Definitely not worth the hundreds of bucks you'll drop for a dinner here. $23+tax+tip for a gin and soda. Oysters are sub par for sure. Too bad, this used to be a classic. Not anymore. Don't get trapped by the fancy entrance. Avoid this place. Coming from a Toronto steakhouse connoisseur.
1st time here for summerlicious. Upon arrival, we were being told our table would be ready shortly. Waited 5 mins and was brought to a 2-person table with an extra chair on the side (we have 3 adults). I tried to ask for a proper 3-person table but the hostess said that was the only table available in the dining room. We ended up sitting in the cafe section with very weak a/c and stuffy airflow. Uncomfortable! Food was just average. The short rib appetizer was quite dry. Ordered medium rare for our steaks and they all turned out medium. Fuzzy peach drink was way too sour.... The 3-star rating was for the food. For overall service, I can only give max 2 stars. Not sute if it was due to the higher volume during summerlicious, I'd say I receive better service from Swiss Chalet than this place. Very disappointed.....
8 of us were there for lunch on Family day. It is a very large and noisy room. People sit around a large round table and share the food put on a lazy susan. Servers come around with a trolley offering dim sum. You can also order a la carte. We did both. The food is so so. Nothing special, actually really boring. It is also not worth the money. Toronto has many better Chinese restaurants. However the place was full. Others might feel differently. We will not return.
2nd visit, came back because the food is very good and the service was acceptable for the Danforth. We arrived last night at around 6, lots of empty tables and they asked us if we had reservations which we didn't and were promptly seated at the back of the restaurant right next to the wait areas and kitchen even though there were plenty of empty tables. The area was very noisy they were busy but not crazy busy. The waiter came promptly probably to get us out quick because we finished at 6:45. He wasn't very personable and didn't seem to recognize my daughter asked for a salad for her main course but he brought her salad at the same time as mine and my wife's, but didn't bring huge complementary bread and butter that all the other tables were gettig. Our main courses arrived fried Calimari for me and chicken breast for my wife both were excellent. The waiter had a look at out table but didn't bother to ask how our dinner tasted our if my wife would like a refill for her drink, we had to ask someone else for the refill. Fast forward to asking for the cheque he brought the machine I punched in the 15% tip even though I should not have, he teared the receipt left it on the table without even looking at us and saying thank you or have a nice evening. That's a first even when I've had bad service the server always made an attempt to seem grateful but not this guy. On my out I told the hostess the waiter didn't say thank you or to enjoy our night. She feigned surprise but I saw a lineup of people waiting to get in and understand where the ENTLEMENT comes from, they are busy even though there service level sucks. Too bad I won't be making a return visit but will be sure to recount my experience to friends and family and hopefully they will tell others.
6 of us had a 7:30 reservation on a Friday. We were seated upstairs promptly. Drinks were ordered and arrived eventually. They didn't have several wines or beers on the menu but offered something similar. Drinks were expensive. The pasta dishes were lukewarm and fair at best. I had a pizza which was pretty good. There were several larger groups upstairs and it was very noisy. Perhaps that is why the service was so slow. It was an okay experience, but we will go elsewhere in the city to look for Italian food.
A Christmas lunch with old friends. This location convenient and easy access. Good service. Our server was patient and didn’t rush us. Great omelette for my lunch but a good variety of options. Can be a bit noisy but overall I will be back

Got the winterlicious for the first try. Everything was very well cooked. It’s above expectations for a set meal. For the place, it was really busy even on weekdays, so a bit noisy. They also have a lot of cost effective menu selections. Will return for other choices for sure.

This place is tired and running on fumes. It used to be good, but the service is indifferent, the food is mediocre at best, the ambiance is loud with people packed tightly together and music piped over it all. And the music is an odd mix of pop; not one Italian song. Go someplace else.

Hesitating a little between the different shows, we headed to Citrus Health. Great welcome and very quiet place. A lemon atmosphere invades you as soon as you enter. We each chose a 60-minute massage: one Vietnamese and one with hot stones. The quality of the massage, for my part, was very good! My wife also raised the excellent standard. We were massaged together in a dark and very quiet room! I would like to emphasize all the additional services offered at the reception (a small tea, hand towel, foot bath) and at the end, a small fruit yogurt and a tea. Small French couple who enjoyed this experience. Do it again if we can!
