**Update: Toronto Public Health inspected this location on January 23, 2026 and issued a Pass. My review reflects my personal experience on January 19. The official inspection report is available through the City of Toronto’s DineSafe program. ** Visited today at approximately 1:00 PM for a drink. While seated at the bar, I observed live cockroaches crawling across the bar area where alcohol bottles are displayed. I took a video at 1:09 PM and left immediately. I did not consume anything further. Toronto Public Health was contacted at 1:41 PM and advised an inspection would be conducted. Posting this to inform others so they can make their own decision. 1. Phoned to make reservation and inquired about Happy Hour menu and requested reservation for the bar area to use Happy Hour menu- Was seated by hostess and given Happy Hour menus- Was then told -“no we do not have Happy Hour on Saturday” I explained that they took my reservation knowing I wanted this menu, they sat us with the menu and the online menu only stipulated 4-6pm- they should have honoured the menu 2. Asked us if we preferred flat or sparkling water- answered flat. Charged us 3.22 each for flat “distilled water” 3. Charged the designated driver for each club soda- no refills on soda water! Paid $10.50 for 3 small glasses of club soda. 4. Two guests ordered off fresh fish market- $44 for red snapper and served with one potato and some Horta - these guests left still hungry after very small portioned meals. The other two meals ordered were Crispy Halibut and Souvlaki, both on which could have used a few more potatoes. Overall portions are small here. 5. Desserts were $13-$15 and again small portions. 6. Was seated at the bar area for a menu we couldn’t even use- and the entire time we were there was only 2 tables filled so the atmosphere was dull and servers slow. If I had known about the menu not be offered I would have reserved the other side of restaurant that looked more interesting. 7. Be prepared not to see guests on other side of table as the lamp decor too tall and blocked the person at my diagonal of table.

A Satisfying Experience The service was attentive -- I never had to ask for water or tea, which was a nice touch. However, I do wish the ventilation had been a bit better for a more comfortable dining atmosphere. Now, onto the most important part: the food. It reminded me of my grandmother's cooking -- not overly salty, with a perfect balance of aroma, texture, and flavor. I tried several dishes: chicken and abalone stir-fry, fried wild rice with seafood, Chinese broccoli with preserved pork, pumpkin soup with lobster meat, and the standout dish -- sweet and sour seafood soup. You might think sweet and sour soup is nothing special, but this one is on another level. If you're a fan of that flavor profile, don't miss it -- you won't regret it.

"Loved the atmosphere of this beautiful restaurant, the staff went above and beyond during our time there and I would highly recommend this vegan place to all of our friends! Thank you for the great time! PS - matcha colada was DREAMY!"

10 out of 10! I have been here for a “Sunday Evening Pizza”. Very clean restaurant in a great neighborhood. We had 2 appetizers (very gentle portions) and 2 pizzas. Both of them were absolutely delicious even if one came out a bit cold. The Tiramisù was a great choice as well. Miranda, who took care of us, was very professional and friendly. We will come back 100%

4 of us went. Two had the seafood sampler (forget the actual menu name). Both dishes cold and salmon raw which the waiter explained was normal? However later changed his tune and admitted it was severely undercooked. They took our plates back and “nuked” them. Hardly fine dining. Another had the lobster. Completely mushy with an off taste. The 4th person at our table had steak which was delicious. So 1 out of 4 was ok. Such a disappointment overall. With so many restaurants in the area I would encourage you to find somewhere else.

A cute atmosphere and was relatively busy. Service was so-so and the serve was alright. The food presentation was good but substitution was less than ideal. Not sure if I would go back if I was in the area.

A great restaurant with a fabulous atmosphere. The food was superb with really friendly staff. Good gluten free options with gluten free pasta available. The menu was slightly limited and given the location it is on the expensive side.

We celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary with lunch for 6, arranged by our bridesmaids. We could not have asked for a better celebration of this special occasion. The food was marvellous and the service by the amazing Michael G was impeccable. Michael just made our day. He was respectful, humorous, efficient and made such a lovely fuss of us. His timing was perfect and we never felt rushed. We just felt so special. Michael was also very considerate, patient and creative with taking photos of our group, both at the table and in the courtyard, once other guests had left. Thoughtful touches acknowledging our Golden Anniversary were also greatly appreciated. Most of us tried the delicious, chilled green pea soup, several had the steak frites, I had the quiche and we were all very pleased with our choices. I had not been to Auberge du Pommier for more than a decade when I used to come for business lunches. I loved the restaurant then and I love them now. They did not disappoint. A perfect venue for a celebration with its wonderful, welcoming ambience. Parking was a slight challenge as my husband uses a walker. We parked underground then realized there was no elevator so he had to climb the stairs and leave the walker in the car. We should have checked this out beforehand. When we left, I picked him up outside the restaurant. There is no parking validation for lunch so it cost $18. There is a main floor washroom but there are a couple of steps which we'd been warned of beforehand. I don't believe there was a ramp but could be wrong. This might be an issue for wheelchair users.

We were forgotten after being seated and it took a mention to the receptionnist and 30 minutes before being served a glass of water and having our order taken... Replacing the Maître d'Hôtel by a statue would be an improvement as he seemed like he wanted to be somewhere else and couldn't careless about the customer's experience that night We honestly thought about getting up and leaving twice. The quality of the food and products served was out of this world and it made us forget in an instant how poor the quality of the service had been. We've worked in restaurants (including 4 diamonds locations), and we can recognize quality products easily. We left impressed by that which is a lot to say.

Valens is a gem! It was comfortable, affordable and quite delicious. Our waitress was personable and fun. The food was AMAZING and the atmosphere unpretentious. Highly recommended!

We used to order from here a lot but getting Uber Eats from this place was the worst idea ever. The restaurant didn’t mark the bags correctly so the courier didn’t pick up half my order. The fries were also really cold and sad. Additionally, just always add 45 mins to whatever their original ETA is during dinner time because this location is a mess and you will be waiting way longer for your food than you think.

Stopped in for a burger after a full day at a mechanical and plumbing convention. The burger was served surprisingly fast and was excellent. Rosemary fries were a nice accent. Atmosphere was relaxed and I chilled with a beer while making notes. Staff were very nice and I didn’t feel rushed. Salty chocolate dessert to end the meal was a nice touch.

We recently had dinner at 360 Restaurant in the CN Tower in downtown Toronto. My husband had reserved a romantic table by the window and arranged a small extra with champagne and strawberries, which we appreciated. The table location was nice, but it’s worth noting that the restaurant slowly rotates. If you have a sensitive balance system, this movement could potentially cause motion sickness. We were first served a small plate of melon wrapped in prosciutto, which was pleasant but quite minimal. The menu itself was somewhat difficult to navigate. For starters, my husband ordered the grilled octopus and I chose the beef tartare. The octopus was good and well prepared. Unfortunately, the beef tartare was disappointing. Instead of a typical tartare texture, it resembled finely ground beef and was presented as a flat, round patty—almost like a small pancake. It was not something I would recommend. For the main course we both ordered the Nova Scotia lobster. You can choose either half (65 CAD) or a whole lobster (125 CAD), and we both chose the whole lobster. Based on the price and description, we expected something more substantial than simply being served one large lobster each. The final bill came to over 400 CAD, which felt very disappointing considering the overall experience. We were honestly left without words. For comparison, we have dined at places like Joey’s and The Keg where a steak and lobster combination costs around 60 CAD, with a lobster add-on of about 25 CAD. In those cases, the value for money felt far better. While the view from the CN Tower is certainly unique, the food quality and overall value did not match the price in our experience.

Attentive friendly service, very tasty food, nicely arranged. We were positively surprised. That it is not inexpensive is due to the unique location: Rotating restaurant on the CN tower! Highly recommended!
