A bit disappointed, lacked good service and atmosphere / vibe was not there. Most expensive meal we had, yet most dissatisfied, even though we had no expectations.
A bit messy with the service, very small portions for the price, and seems like nothing that is in the menu is actually available. Mezze maniche was served instead of trofie, grilled octopus was proposed instead of fried halibut…and on. Food is ok though
10/10 best priced pizza in Dublin
10/10! Nice when you’ve heard good things about a restaurant and it exceeds expectations. Lovely place, quite small so I’d recommend making a reservation. New lunch menu is incredible value for the standard of food and service. The waiter/manager was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. I can recommend the chicken & scallops, the hake with mussels and the salted caramel tart with vanilla ice cream. Divine. Looking forward to visiting again soon! Another visit in January 2025. So good again! The staff are really welcoming, kind & accommodating to solo diners, which is must appreciated! I had the Halibut for mains & Sticky Toffee Pudding to follow - both delicious. The spuds with truffle dip should be illegal, they are so good! And I have never tasted carrots like the Orwell Road carrots. Thank you for a lovely evening!
31 December morning went for breakfast, lovely breakfast, very nice young lady serving and not too expensive. No complaints enjoyed my breakfast 😋
13 of us went to have a family dinner to remember my brother who died earlier in the year. The service was efficient and friendly. The room cool to the point of uncomfortable. The food very poor and overpriced. My started salmon pretty basic and uninteresting. Breads were nice but had to keep asking for more butter. Lamb for main was just okay sauce and gravy not nice, mustard grained mashed potato not nice and unseasoned. Strawberry pavlova was actually meringue not pavlova, the cream appeared not to be real cream far too sweet, a scattering of strawberries. All very disappointing for circa €70 a head. I would not recommend at all and won’t be returning
3 of us had an early dinner here. We shared the antipasto for 2 starter There was plenty for the 3 of us. I had the monkfish pasta of the day main. It was lovely. The catch of the day was very nice but bit expensive at 26.50. A shared ice cream and a latte to finish. Service was very good.
10/10 as usual 🩷 Staff are so friendly Food is excellent Prices are amazing for location as it’s in temple bar Service is brilliant
6 of us ate here recently (Including 2 children). Everything about it was good. We all felt safe. Vaccination certs and identification was checked. The restaurant was spotlessly clean. The food was excellent and good value. Our waitress was very efficient. We will return
A brilliant evening, great value for a tasting menu, every course was delicious and the interaction with the murder mystery theme was just right. Would definitely recommend.

The manager Kevin did not allow us (6 people) to enter the restaurant due to one of my friends holding a can of cider (0,4l). Despite explaining that we were all sober and none of us acted drunk in any way, he was very rude and condescending, leading to us being indirectly forced away from the entrance. They also cancelled our reservation immediately (60€ holding fee btw!). We believe he might have been judging us by our clothing being casual due to sightseeing (jeans/tops). A shame since it looked like a nice place to dine but because of the treatment we will never go back there. We all can definitely recommend the Old Mill and Quays!

The food is amazing! All of the dishes I tried were packed with flavour. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. Portions are huge, but you can take any leftovers home! Staff is super friendly. They helped me decide between two dishes and gave suggestions as to what went wel with each other and also took time for a quick chat. Service is quick! I went there for lunch three days in a row and it wasn't crowded at all. However, I'd recommend making a reservation if you want to for there for dinner, because in the evening the restaurant was packed. If I'm ever in Dublin again I'll most certainly eat here again!

Too bad for the service and the wines, because the food is great (super lamb roasts, super meat). They got lost in a glass of water (which costs more than wine)

I went for a traditional Irish food and I wasn't wrong in choosing this place. First of all, the service is amazing. My waiter Sheetal was very polite and constantly paying attention. The order was ready very quickly and the waiter was very good at giving advices regarding which meal to order. Secondly, the lamb that I've ordered was very soft and creamy , I loved the taste. I enjoyed every moment. Last but not least, the dessert was amazing and each bit of it melted in my mouth. Very nice ! Highly recommend this place !
