10/10 outstanding. Cannot wait to return. Service was wonderful
10/10! Nice when you’ve heard good things about a restaurant and it exceeds expectations. Lovely place, quite small so I’d recommend making a reservation. New lunch menu is incredible value for the standard of food and service. The waiter/manager was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. I can recommend the chicken & scallops, the hake with mussels and the salted caramel tart with vanilla ice cream. Divine. Looking forward to visiting again soon! Another visit in January 2025. So good again! The staff are really welcoming, kind & accommodating to solo diners, which is must appreciated! I had the Halibut for mains & Sticky Toffee Pudding to follow - both delicious. The spuds with truffle dip should be illegal, they are so good! And I have never tasted carrots like the Orwell Road carrots. Thank you for a lovely evening!
10oz steak sirloin 32eur, pasta 22, breaded fish, half chicken very charred looking. No salmon options Service , no check in nor drinks topup, felt took too long to check in with us . But overall not bad.
23May2024 - Dinner Our Group of 22 arrived Dublin from Cork in the evening. With the heavy after office hour traffic, we arrived at the One Pico restaurant about 25 minutes late for our reservations. Nevertheless, the Captain was gracious in welcoming us and led us to our private room. We were actually quite surprised that the main entrance to the restaurant was along a dingy alley. The interior was simple. But the decor of the private room wasn’t what we had expected it to be. The service staff was very polite and patient, he took great care in taking the orders of each and every member of our group. My starter of Grilled Mackerel, Daikon with Truffle Ponzu was refreshing; however I felt the ponzu sauce somewhat overpowered the truffle. Couldn’t taste the truffle at all. The Main Course of Slaney Valley Lamb Rump was nicely done and tender to the bite. Some of us thought that the Aubergine was slightly burnt. Overall the lamb tasted good. Our dessert of Strawberry Mousse was good after we had the accompanied Milk Sorbet. Good combination. Must say the restaurant served good quality tea. And we ended the evening with a delightful Petit Four.
10 out of 10 for everything, the staff went above and beyond for us. The food was amazing, best Italian food we have had in years! The atmosphere was so romantic and cosy, we can't wait to come back again. Thank you
3 couples booked in for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Arrived at 3.15. Started served promptly. Main course served at 5pm, over an hour after starter !!! Requested to speak with a manager when waiting as food was so delayed we were considering getting bill & leaving. Despite 3 requests, no manager came to us. Food eventually arrived. No acknowledgment or apology for delay.
3 of us went for a Christmas night out. From the time we arrived the staff was rushing us to get the (tiny) table back! Our main courses arrived in minutes from arrival, the veal was dried up and the carbonara ravioli tasted like salty custard. When we mentioned being rushed they just said there were people waiting. When booking there was no mention of a time limit.!
1st time in saba & can’t wait until my next time, flavour was unreal, so fresh & staff so nice & friendly.
21/mar. My last evening in Dublin I chanced my arm in getting in here as didn’t have a reservation and it worked used to come in here regularly when I lived in Dublin. Drinks starters mains came swiftly. And plenty of it to. Can not fault this restaurant from the drink s to food and the staff also very clean even toilets. Thank you guys.

We really enjoyed this restaurant. The food was very good. It’s small, but worth the wait.

The food is amazing! All of the dishes I tried were packed with flavour. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. Portions are huge, but you can take any leftovers home! Staff is super friendly. They helped me decide between two dishes and gave suggestions as to what went wel with each other and also took time for a quick chat. Service is quick! I went there for lunch three days in a row and it wasn't crowded at all. However, I'd recommend making a reservation if you want to for there for dinner, because in the evening the restaurant was packed. If I'm ever in Dublin again I'll most certainly eat here again!

Fabulous and classy atmosphere. The service is second to none. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt warm and elegant, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed meal. The food was absolutely lovely beautifully presented. What really made the experience stand out, however, was the service. The staff were welcoming, professional and genuinely attentive throughout the evening. A special mention must go to our waiter, Gabino, who was fantastic. He was incredibly attentive without ever being intrusive and gave us excellent advice when choosing from the menu. His recommendations were spot on and truly enhanced our dining experience. Thank you so much to all. Can’t wait to come back!
