*Im a vegetarian so this only applies to those who are joining as the veggie guest to their steak loving partner/friend!* We went New Year’s Eve, staff were lovely (just needed a little more checking in than we got). I had the cheese board for my starter which was honestly ace! Can’t go wrong with a cheese board. But for the main I had the aubergine starter with miso broccoli. Both were supposed to have miso sauces but I couldn’t taste any miso and unfortunately the aubergine was just very burnt and inedible and covered lazily with salad. I understand it being a steak restaurant this isn’t a priority but considering the price it’s worth improving.
*Terrible experience!* I visited Passion 4 Food expecting a good meal, but it was a complete disaster. The food was awful—cold, tasteless, and clearly not fresh. On top of that, the staff were extremely rude and unprofessional. No basic manners, no customer service, just attitude. Absolutely not worth the money or time. Never going back and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Stay away!
3/5. The hype behind this little Italian restaurant is, to me, baffling. The food was just okay. The dishes overall lacked flavour and did not excite my taste buds. Pasta was underwhelming. Wouldn’t call it a disappointment. Tiramisu for dessert felt soggy and lacked the certain creaminess/cloudyness (if I can use that term). Overall, I felt there’s room to improve.
Excellent food and service
Good food
Great food
Easter Bank Holiday, plan was to go for walk and nice meal out,, disappointing is the least I could say. I would leave zero stars if I could. The food is mediocre for the price and to make it even worse it is not even close to authentic Greek You should not call yourself a Greek restaurant. The food feels ridiculously whitewashed. I’m confident the food here poisoned us, It’s the only food I ate in the last 24 hours , we ordered the horiatiki salad it wasn't great as olives were way to salty, hummus was very bland and Tyropita was filled with something but for sure not feta or eggs, briefly mentioned to the waiter and he wasn't sure what was in it.. and better for him not to know... He wasn’t interested even tho we complained bout the pastry thing. definitely don't recommend or will we be back.
... ok, maybe a text message saying "Avoid"... Not very happy at all about this place. Service snotty, pursed lips and all. The mussles where boring and bland. It's not advanced cuisine, this dish, and I have had better mussles and fries for half the prize many times in other places. The fries had that boring run-of-the-mill generic "grill seasoning" that you buy in supermarkets. And that's probably where they found the fries too by the way. The starter with Fried calamari was good but you had to pay extra 2,50 euros... You got three of them on a plate and that was it. Farcical. It's not cosy, just a bit sloppy and at the same time pretentious. It's dirty, a bit greasy and the decor is dated. The food isn't cooked with love and the portions are too small. They have 10% automatic service charge too, not worth it. The bill was risible, very expensive for that kind of bland, uninspired dishes. Avoid.
106Eur for a bottle of wine (60Eur), ravioli and spezzatino! Thanks but never again! This is not traditional Italian food and the place look really bad!
A perfect place in the middle of Dublin for a nice meal. I had the vegetarian course. The food, presentation, service was excellent. Definitely worth the Michelin star and more.
Excellent food and service. Chicken satay had great flavour and both the wok dish and curry were really tasty. Service was friendly and overall atmosphere lovely. Would recommend.
It’s been just over a week since my visit to Boeuf & Frites, and I haven’t stopped talking about it since. The food was absolutely outstanding, easily some of the best I’ve ever had. That said, our experience didn’t start off on the right foot. A week before our visit, I called to confirm whether the location was wheelchair accessible. I was assured that it was. I also included a note with our reservation stating that one of our party would either be using mobility aids or a wheelchair. I even followed up 24 hours in advance to confirm it would, in fact, be a wheelchair, and again, I was told it wouldn’t be an issue. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case when we arrived. We were left waiting while staff scrambled to set up a table near the bar, which felt like an afterthought. It was awkwardly close to other diners and made us feel like we were in the way. Things got worse when our wheelchair user needed an accessible restroom. The corridor was too narrow for the chair, and the bathroom itself had to be cleared of staff belongings (bags, etc...) before it could be used. Thankfully, our guest had some mobility and I was able to assist them, but it was far from ideal and quite disheartening after being told the venue was accessible. All that said, the food truly was phenomenal. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection, hands down the best I’ve had in a restaurant. And the garlic bread? I would honestly come back just for that. It was that good. I only wish I’d been given accurate accessibility information ahead of time. If I had, I would have chosen a different location. Boeuf might deliver on flavour, but it still has a long way to go in terms of accessibility and inclusivity.

Lovely meal downstairs in the cellar area! Service from Kris and Dima was great and very quick. Only let down was no affogato on the menu and we were told it couldn’t be done!

Had an incredible experience sitting at the bar - good food, best Irish coffee of my life and wonderful suggestions from the bartender on whiskeys to try. Had a great, local crowd - we got to sing happy birthday with the whole place for an 80th celebration. Cannot recommend more emphatically.

I don't normally write reviews, but my family was so looking forward to this meal in Dublin I felt it was appropriate to share my experience, as it was not anywhere near expectation. If you don't feel like reading down, i recommend going to a pub instead and having a meal there, you will have a better experience and save a lot of time and money. We are a family of 5, we booked a table ahead of time and checked in. We were most looking forward to the views and the set dinner menu (as advertised on the website). We were seated at a table with the views of a building under construction... The "Set Dinner Menu" was not available according to our server, so please don't plan on it. I will say our server was actually lovely, and extremely friendly. The children's menu is very limited, and well... the food is even more so... One of my daughters ordered the burger, and it came out to be so over cooked, it was hard to bite through, the burger buns were rock hard and it tasted very strange. I ordered the filet and was so small in size, for $55 plus $3 for the butter, it was underwhelming to say the least. And my wife's salmon was tasteless. The meal itself took almost 2 hours, we felt at times we were just waiting... We did tell the server the burger was not good, and to their credit they took it off the bill which we appreciated, but the experience itself was well under what we thought it would be. Overall, I would say give Ryleigh's a miss if you're looking for a really nice meal out. Dublin's pubs serve better food at a much higher standard.

We celebrated our 65th wedding anniversary with our family. We had a wonderful evening and the food was amazing. Every dish delicious. Looking forward to going there again. The staff exceedingly good.
