A friend recommended this restaurant to us. We had 11 courses. Every single course was sensational. The wine were great. The homemade shots from the grandmother were great! But even better was the atmosphere in the restaurant. The waiters have spread such a great mood. The whole restaurant with all the guests became friends at the ed and celebrated together. We would come back anytime. In addition, it is an amazing value for that price... Update: Jan 30, 2026 Five years ago, this restaurant was something truly special for me: a nearly ten-course menu with wine pairing and shots between courses, fantastic atmosphere, warm service, and the whole thing for around 80 € including tip for two people. This time, I returned with high hopes and was unfortunately disappointed—for about five courses without wine pairing and only two shots, I paid more than double, some dishes were overly salty and overall poorly seasoned. The plates felt interchangeable, lacking any distinct signature or recognition value, more like standard 08/15 fare you can get around the corner in similar or even better quality. The service is still friendly and attentive, but the unique party vibe from back then—that perfect blend of great food, excellent service, music, and atmosphere—is gone. Overall, the price-performance ratio no longer adds up for me, so I'm revising my original 5-star rating to about 2.5 out of 5.

Besides the location within a mall is not really that great and the somewhat weird choice of chairs. Who came up with the idea to use these kind of chairs? They would be a much better fit for a Tiki Bar in Hawaii, but let's not get distracted here. The main waiter was great. He translated the whole menu into English, as they did not have the English version printed, as the menue was new, as he told us. The food was great and tasted very well. I should have focused more on the positive things in this review, but the stars speak for themselves. It's a great location that could use new chairs :)

Fantastic food! One of the nicest curries we've ever had. Can't fault it, only marked down Atmosphere as we were the only ones in on a Monday night. Would definitely come again.

A friend who had visited Flow and loved it told me about their new location closer to our neighbourhood. When I looked into it, I discovered they're part of the same chain as Mistu, a restaurant where we'd previously enjoyed great food. We decided to try Barôco on an early Saturday evening. The atmosphere was wonderful, and our server Maurizio excelled at this job - his recommendations were spot-on throughout the meal. The cocktails were the highlight of the experience. I was pleasantly surprised by the Carribean Shore that Maurizio suggested - I'd expected it to be overly sweet, but it struck the perfect balance. My spouse enjoyed the Fifth Taste. We started with the burrata and tomato, which was delicious. For my main course, I ordered the fish raviolo. Initially, I found the seafood aroma quite strong, but as I continued eating, it grew on me. My spouse chose the pork, and we both liked the malagueta sauce and the side of 15 grilled vegetables that Maurizio had recommended. Unfortunately, the desserts fell short of expectations. We tried both the kataifi and pistachio desserts. Surprisingly, the pistachio semifredo tasted more like peanuts than pistachio to me. Next time, I'll try the Basque cheesecake instead. Overall, Barôco is a superb addition to the neighbourhood, and we'll certainly be returning.

A gem in Porto! The food, service and atmosphere were great - and not to mention, very veggie friendly menu. We also had a great wine recommendation and had the best evening!

A nicely located and decorated restaurant to have overpriced average food. An attentive service yet a very bad Maître in a snob atmosphere make not want to come back.

An ordinary and normal site, with prices raised by more than 25%. I have eaten in more than a thousand restaurants around the world and I have never met such lowly people. The room is ordinary, the service is normal, the cuisine is correct and the prices are raised by more than 25%. So much so that it is more expensive to eat in this ordinary restaurant with no views (located on a vulgar street in the city) than in an emblematic restaurant (like the one run by the Graham and Sagardi groups). Of the outrages they committed (which were several), the food for the children (7 and 4 years old) stands out. They offered us meat and potatoes for both of us and charged us €54! In short, a place to forget and to dedicate these words to, so that if possible, no one goes to lunch and/or dinner. Some unpresentable ones!

At my first glance, in 2024, despite having booked a table well in advance, there was no reservation in my name, they ended up fixing the fault by arranging a table and I loved the experience. On my visit this year, it did not surprise me. Although the Service continues to be great and have a michelin star, I did not like the menu so much and found that for the tasting menu that now serve the price is exaggerated. It is unacceptable, in a restaurant of this category, that customers have to pay for the parking lot that they have indicated me for this purpose!

Exploring during our last night here in Porto , we just happened upon this restaurant... But once inside it was absolutely fabulous; its staff were so welcoming and friendly ... especially as we were Canadian with no knowledge of the local language ... they presented us with a great menu... atmosphere was just so local and cozy. We met a Portuguese couple dining next to us who also made some recommendations which were fabulous. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody who wanted to get a local Flair and taste of this fabulous City's culture and people.

03/20/2024 - 8:00 pm Booked the day before and they were helpful in accepting a table for two. Once there, we were taken to a table and presented with a plate of toasted bread brushed with garlic butter. While we were filling our stomachs we chose a grilled sea bream and a game sausage and a Casal Garcia sock to wet the thirsty gorgonomilo. To top it off, a specialty of the house: rabanada… a kind of bloated abundance of house-bottled sauce that fills you with pleasure and gluttony. The delicious food, externally and internally, competed with Vitor's quick, but above all gracious and good-humored, service! A charismatic character in customer service, polite in his dealings, scathing and attentive in his dialogue, Vitor exponentially increases the quality of the establishment. Tasty food, generous portions, pleasant atmosphere, impeccable service and affordable prices represent with distinction one of Invicta's emblematic places: Antunes, now renovated in space, but consistent in quality and service to its customers. To take into account on your next visit to the beautiful city of Porto.

10/10 would recommend. Food was absolutely divine, atmosphere was perfect and the staff were amazing. One of the best restaurants I’ve been too. Tatiana Lopez was such a wonderful waitress and accommodated any requests we had. Would recommend to anyone

we went there today ,and the overall experience was terrible.the worst we can experience, the atmosphere was too suffocating there was no fresh air in the restaurant ,we ordered chicken kadai and tandoori roti , in the sabji chicken were just thrown without even tossing it in a Malala’s,there were raw tomato’s and capsicum , it was giving the pav-bhaji feel with raw vegetables and for this they charged too much.I strongly recommend not to visit this restaurant.

Staff very helpful and attentive - explain promptly the dishes and always available to clarify questions; when bringing one of the cocktails to the table, employee poured slight amount on the table and promptly brought a newly prepared equivalent. Pleasant environment and decoration. Aperitif offered by the Divine Chef. Divine entrance. Main dish ripe meat - certain areas "around" slightly rigid - the maid asked if everything was great, if it wasn't trocaria, but I didn't have the courage to be so friendly and the rest of the food was great; divine accompaniment (vegetables and fried potatoes). Delicious X-wife and Anti-depressant desserts. Great cocktails. A safe choice. NOTE: They do not have diapers.
