3 Stars Even with the $5 voucher, Seigle’s 1941 feels overpriced and underwhelming. I get it—this is Vegas, but when even sodas from a vending machine run $5, the experience stops feeling like fun and starts feeling like a slow bleed. The food isn’t terrible, but it’s nothing to write home about either. At some point, Vegas might realize it’s pricing people right out the door.
5 stars for the stunning mountain location and views, but only 1 star for the Christmas buffet experience. On December 25, 2025, we paid a very high price for the holiday buffet expecting a special, elevated meal at this beautiful spot—and it was a huge letdown. The food was not fresh at all: several dishes tasted and looked like they had been sitting out or reheated for hours, with dry textures and bland flavors. The presentation was terrible—everything was messy, trays were nearly empty most of the time, no clear labels, and it all looked carelessly thrown together. This doesn’t come close to justifying the steep cost. In a place that promotes itself as “the most authentic wintertime destination in Southern Nevada,” we expected at least some quality and attention to detail for a festive holiday buffet, but it felt rushed and low-effort. The price simply doesn’t match what was delivered. Sadly, we won’t be returning for the food, though the hotel and surroundings remain gorgeous. I recommend skipping the buffet and just enjoying the scenery—or trying the regular a la carte menu if available.
Absolutely terrible customer service; not worth the price and hassle. Website is not displaying available rooms so I called directly but was told I needed to speak to a different department that was only available during business hours. Called again the following day and was passed from agent to agent and hung up on twice trying to inquire about the room and group rate. Finally reached the end of the line to be told I was originally given wrong information and all rooms for our timeframe were sold out. Ridiculous for a national "premiere" chain.
AMAZING! The best quality fresh food, tasted incredible! For the price you can’t find anywhere better in Fremont. And Alfredo was the best waiter! I got the stuffed French toast
Absolutely fantastic. Fairly reasonable price for their high quality burritos, especially the lumpia burrito 😋 If you haven't been, highly recommended for the full Vegas experience.
Absolutely 💯 Amazing Breakfast 🥞 My husband picked the best place if your in town and looking for a homemade meal made to perfection with the best portions you will walk out beyond full and amazed by the taste alone! We came all the way from McAllen Tx We will be back!! Thank you for the best service He truly made us feel like home with his awesome personality to knowing his menu to upselling us more! Great job 👏🏻 keep up your great work! By Ending our breakfast the owner came by our table greeted us & told us about his French toast making like Tx style YOU MADE IT PERFECT just like HOME!!! thank you sir we truly enjoyed your restaurant to start our day in Vegas!!
Stayed here over Easter weekend. A little too cool yet to enjoy the outdoor pool, but, definitely will when we come back and its warmer. The hotel was off the strip, away from all of the party noise, and masses of people. Fast food was just across the street, as well as a convenience store for your snacks and drinks. Free breakfast in the mornings. Speaking of food and drinks; our room had a nice full sized fridge in the kitchen for storing all those drinks and food, and microwave to heat up those leftovers. Plenty of space in our one bedroom suite, with a balcony as well! One small issue during our stay; the balcony door wouldnt lock, but maintenance came up and put a temporary fix on it, which was fine with us, since we were on an upper floor. This hotel is directly under the flight path of planes leaving the airport, so there is airplane all day long til about 1am.. bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Otherwise, we loved this place.
...hurrah for Harrah's. Some of our group's rooms were ready before 4:00pm, some were not. But if you pay an extra $25, they instantly become ready. Couldn't get the check-in kiosks to work, but the receptionist who manually checked us in was very cheerful and helpful. Our room was clean and mostly quiet (except the 2:00am drunk next door) with a lovely view out the window (see photo.) Not a fan of connecting rooms - should have requested a room change. It did have a nice make-up mirror / chair for the ladies. The A/C worked well. The shower had a fixed 1/2 glass pane and no door, so the floor gets wet. Was charged in error for eating a two year old beef jerky from the mini-bar. I assume they'll correct that. No frig in the room. The casino area features low ceilings, and a 1970's smokiness vibe. If you step outside for some fresh air every 15 minutes or so, you'll be fine. Fortunately, the sleeping room areas were mostly smoke-free. Drink prices are steep and variable. A $7 beer at one bar was $14 at the next. Our group chose this location for it's proximity to the Sphere, and now we know better...
1 Bedroom Apartment We have stayed 7 nights in March 2025, using some Marriott Vacation Club Points. The building is 1 block back from the strip but is extremely close to everything. The room has a fully equipped kitchen and a washer and dryer, which was great for us on a long trip from Australia. The room size is decent and it was great to have this room of this size when in Vegas for this period. We stocked up at Costco before check-in, so we had plenty sodas, snacks in the room so we didn’t have to pay Las Vegas strip prices and having the fridge, we could store our left overs if we brought any home after dinner somewhere.. There is an on-site Starbucks, but you will be paying Las Vegas Hotel Starbuck prices. Room was clean upon check-in, the bed was comfortable. The hotel has valet parking only, for us at least it was free except for tipping. Yes, it is a Marriott Vacation Club location, so they will approach you to attend a sales prestation, but it’s totally up to you if you want to attend or not and they will give you a pre-paid visa as an incentive to attend.
**Hotel Stay Review – The D Hotel & Casino** I recently stayed at The D Hotel & Casino, and while my overall experience had its ups and downs, there were definitely some highlights worth mentioning. **Check-In Experience:** My check-in experience this time around was a complete 180 from my last stay. The gentleman working as the night auditor (I unfortunately didn’t catch his name) was incredibly informative and welcoming. He took the time to explain everything clearly, making me actually feel like a valued guest rather than a nuisance—which is exactly how I felt during my last check-in. His professionalism and kindness set a great tone for the start of my stay. **Housekeeping Service:** Mark, our housekeeper, was absolutely wonderful. He provided daily service and was incredibly patient with us. It’s rare to come across such a dedicated and understanding staff member, and I truly appreciated his efforts in making our stay comfortable. **Security Concerns:** Unfortunately, my experience with security left much to be desired. This is now the second time my boyfriend and I have checked into The D, only to be met with security attempting to remove us from the property—only changing their attitude once they confirmed we were guests. The way it played out felt like racial profiling, and it was an uncomfortable and unnecessary experience. As paying guests, we should not have to go through this kind of treatment upon arrival or during our stay. While there were definite positives—especially with the front desk and housekeeping staff—The D Hotel & Casino really needs to address how their security team interacts with guests. I would love to return because of the service I received from the night auditor and Mark, but I hope management takes a serious look at how their security team operates.
- large room - beautiful view of pool landscape and mountains (22. Stock) - nice, uncrowded casino - Bowling alley and small arcade available - to the delight of our son - Restaurant selection ok (but we were mostly eating outside the hotel) - Parking garage and parking for free! - The pool is nice and big and the whirlpool is great - Coupon booklet (which we didn't use - somehow there was nothing for us) - For us the location was great - for the activities we parked at Luxor, Sphere, Fashion Mall and Freemant Street What we didn't like so much: - no refillable care products - a shame - the garden buffet is good, but from 9 years old the full price should be paid - that was too much for us (a child can't eat that much at all) - here a coupon would have been nice especially for children that they can at least eat for free or for a small price at the buffet (so we were outside the hotel for dinner) - at breakfast we ate a few times anyway at the buffet
-The location is great -- close enough from the Strip to be walking distance, far enough not to be annoyed by it (no noise) -Rooms are clean, kitchen perfectly clean with all the necessary -Bed was great -Bathroom clean Great value !

Amazing Turkish pita falafel, but way too expensive for my wallet. I'd love to come back, but don't think I can afford it. Priced for tourists on Fremont. Too much for local wages. I still enjoyed every bite.

The Venetian Palazzo is my favorite casino in Las Vegas. It has the most restaurants and most things to do outside of gambling. Slot selection has improved dramatically in the past two years and the livestreamed Poker Room and content creator friendliness is a huge plus. The Venetian suites have received little upgrades which do make a difference in convenience. It has the best 24h dining in Grand Lux, amazing value with Lavo's Sunday Brunch, so many fine dining choices of various cuisines. SEVEN steakhouses. Excellent VIP service, best Sphere access and comped Sphere events, great room service, the Canal. Karaoke rooms till 5 AM every single day, darts, massage on the floor and in the canal, Canyon Ranch is excellent. So many amazing things to discover and experience.

Awful and disappointed. I wanted to treat my significant other to his first visit to Las Vegas. Being this was his first time I wanted him to be centrally located to everything so I code the Linq because of this. First of all, there Uber dropped us off at the designated drop off and pick up location which is in a dark alley. When we exited the vehicle we noticed a very strong unpleasant smell which we chalked up to being the alley smell. We got to the check in desk and was offered an upgrade to a better room for an additional $15 per night ( totaling $90 for 6 nights). We were also charged $53 per night resort fee. Which cost us almost an additional $500 in addition to the original fee we paid for our room. As we walked to our room the offensive smell got worse and worse. Speaking with another guest in the elevator, we were told the smell had been there all week. When we got to our room, we were shocked at that we were paying a$53 ‘resort fee ‘ for a basic hotel room. M although I initially was disappointed because of the lack of a microwave, I was even more shocked that there were no drawers in the room to put our clothing. I was told that none of the rooms had drawers. How do they expect 2 adults to stay there for 7 days with no where to put our clothing? I guess we are expected to live out of our suitcases! This is not the experience that I expect for the price point I paid for this resort!! I will never return again. Nor will I encourage anyone else to. Unless they want a budget hotel experience that they are paying premium resort fed for. Also, the staff was very rude and uncomplaining. When we asked about the smell we were told it was the grease trap and they were wining on it. I do not believe that to be the case because numerous people were commenting on it and the length of time they were smelling it. I am still here more and considering finding somewhere else to stay.

I have been to Vegas many times but this trip by far was the best. I stayed at the MGM Grand about 20 years ago and the upgrades that have occurred are amazing. Compared to every other resort in Vegas that I have stayed at, this has been the best yet. At check-in, we were complimentary upgraded to a full suite. These suites were just renovated in Nov 2025. The room still smelled new! When you walk into the room, you have the first of 3 bathrooms in the suite. The suite had a bar area and a granite topped table that seats 6. The room also had a full sectional couch and a shuffleboard table. The second bathroom was a full bathroom with a Kohler bathtub that could accommodate two people and had a tray table that had lotions, soaps, massage roller, and bath brush. The bedroom had a California King bed that was so comfortable, we felt like we were sleeping on a cloud. The third bathroom had a walk-in shower that could fit 6 people if you wanted. The hotel has a 6.5 acre pool area with a lazy river as part of it. The hotel also has several restaurants and food services. There is a large arcade for kids in the main casino area and several other services such has spas and shopping, and of course plenty of gambling areas. I would highly recommend this place if you want to feel pampered without having to pay a small fortune!
