* BEWARE * This restaurant engages in egregious markup practices. For example, the Margherita pizza if you dine-in is around $24. On Uber Eats, it’s $32. Even their discounts on Uber Eats are shady. They slash the prices to make it look like they’re really giving you a discount by listing the original price at an outrageous number. Even though I like their food, I will not be going here again. There are restaurants with better food that don’t have to resort to such embarrassing shady tactics to get business. 0/10
.Disapointing. They serve water only after you've ordered. And the miso soup is served in a sauce dish? Great for a one time thing if your desperate. Not great if youre traveling and want to try out foods. Ordered a donkatsu. I tasted more breading than the meat. Which was flatter than a pancake. I also ordered a fried shrimp. The shrimp was dry and tasted burnt? Or rather where was the shrimp? Ive never seen fried shrimp so flat.... Fried shrimp was around 13$ Donkatsu was 20.00$ Most of the dishes alone start at 20.00 Food vs value was far below. Save your money and go to korea town.
08/07/24 ☆ I tried their shoyu ramen yesterday. The noodles were cooked perfectly and it wasn't too salty. Also they had a free ramune drink promo which was great. My only complain is about the broth. I found the flavor a bit strong for my taste but overall it was a pretty good experience!

Linda 1 Star • 2023-12-31 I ordered the steak frites, which arrived cold. No utensils arrived with the meal delivered to my hospital room. The steak was tough and gristlely, difficult to cut. Doordash offered a $3 credit.
My boyfriend took me here for a birthday dinner . Thinking the Ritz I expected a lovely lobby and upscale glitzy type resto a nice treat for my birthday. I was underwhelmed by the lobby and the restaurant. It was a very bistro type feel similar to many other around town no wow. We were seated in a large booth that was not cosy. My partner moved the settings over as we felt the need to talk louder due to the distance. The cocktail menu was good and the wine list as expected. Nothing on the menu really jumped out at me. I decided on lamb as my main dish saving room for dessert. They were good to accommodate my garlic allergy. Which you would expect from chefs of this caliber. It was a rack of lamb done medium with a few sauteed asparagus and jus on the side. The jus was tasty and the lamb was seasoned well but by no means a $48 main. Very underwhelming I found and easy to find in many other restos. My partner opted for the Caeser salad to start and a filet well done. The salad wasdescribed as ok and my partner ate only 1/4 of it again lack lustre . The filet was a true disappointment my partner eats his meat well done ( I know but..)and most establishments can present a tasty still moist steak for him. Not here sadly it was dry and burnt. Again a disappointment for price and caliber this restaurant should be . We looked at the dessert menu and after the meh mains decided to go somewhere else. Sadly the house made limoncello and chocolate they gave us at the end were kinda the best part. I would think twice before coming here. The food nor the ambience were a wow. There are much better options for half the price . We found one for dessert.
We were there a second time as we were in the Hotel for a conference and tired. The service was slow. we were seated next to raucous dinner party and could barely hear ourselves speak The Cosmo raspberry martini seemed watery and I did not taste the alcohol. My oysters Rockefeller were very tiny and I was only sure that I found one oyster. The sauce was strangely sugary and bland. The Scallops main course was small, but okay. The Wedge salad was great. The greasy crab cakes were not crabby enough and filled with shredded protein that my husband said tasted the consistency of chicken. It is disappointing that this was the only restaurant open in the downtown Hilton. It is too expensive for a quality that is not high enough.
After a lighthearted evening watching & Juliet, we made our way to Scaddabush for some Italian comfort food. All of EnD Adventures was together — our daughters, friends, and the two of us — which already set the tone for a memorable night out. Despite the restaurant being packed, we were seated quickly. Our server, Noah, stopped by early with menus and the nightly specials. It was clear the entire team was hustling; drinks took longer than usual, but Noah was doing everything he could to keep the pace. The space itself was a delight. Warm lighting, thoughtful décor, and those whimsical canned vegetables added a quirky charm that made the room feel inviting and full of character. There was always something interesting to notice. The fresh mozzarella — their signature — absolutely lived up to its reputation. Creamy, rich, and beautifully prepared, it was easily the standout of the table. Our meals arrived hot and exactly as ordered, and everyone enjoyed their choices. The only real downside was the long gaps between check-ins for drink refills or questions. With several large tables nearby and the restaurant buzzing, it was understandable, though still noticeable. All in all, it was a lovely evening, and we’d happily return — perhaps to a quieter location next time, just to see how the service feels when the pace isn’t quite so intense. We celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary with lunch for 6, arranged by our bridesmaids. We could not have asked for a better celebration of this special occasion. The food was marvellous and the service by the amazing Michael G was impeccable. Michael just made our day. He was respectful, humorous, efficient and made such a lovely fuss of us. His timing was perfect and we never felt rushed. We just felt so special. Michael was also very considerate, patient and creative with taking photos of our group, both at the table and in the courtyard, once other guests had left. Thoughtful touches acknowledging our Golden Anniversary were also greatly appreciated. Most of us tried the delicious, chilled green pea soup, several had the steak frites, I had the quiche and we were all very pleased with our choices. I had not been to Auberge du Pommier for more than a decade when I used to come for business lunches. I loved the restaurant then and I love them now. They did not disappoint. A perfect venue for a celebration with its wonderful, welcoming ambience. Parking was a slight challenge as my husband uses a walker. We parked underground then realized there was no elevator so he had to climb the stairs and leave the walker in the car. We should have checked this out beforehand. When we left, I picked him up outside the restaurant. There is no parking validation for lunch so it cost $18. There is a main floor washroom but there are a couple of steps which we'd been warned of beforehand. I don't believe there was a ramp but could be wrong. This might be an issue for wheelchair users.
Finding this gem was an accident as we researched on foot for an early meal in Little Italy before leaving Toronto. On a Saturday- even at 5pm you need a reservation but we sat up at the bar and ate there. Fabulous food and service and very clean ( we could see!) We had excellent bruschetta and figs with goats cheese wrapped in prosciutto- delicious. We shared our two tagliatelle choices Gingrich misto and frutti del mare. Both were excellent. This is the place to come in Little Italy!

A wonderful, hidden gem. We’ve visited twice and had great food and service both times

We recently had dinner at 360 Restaurant in the CN Tower in downtown Toronto. My husband had reserved a romantic table by the window and arranged a small extra with champagne and strawberries, which we appreciated. The table location was nice, but it’s worth noting that the restaurant slowly rotates. If you have a sensitive balance system, this movement could potentially cause motion sickness. We were first served a small plate of melon wrapped in prosciutto, which was pleasant but quite minimal. The menu itself was somewhat difficult to navigate. For starters, my husband ordered the grilled octopus and I chose the beef tartare. The octopus was good and well prepared. Unfortunately, the beef tartare was disappointing. Instead of a typical tartare texture, it resembled finely ground beef and was presented as a flat, round patty—almost like a small pancake. It was not something I would recommend. For the main course we both ordered the Nova Scotia lobster. You can choose either half (65 CAD) or a whole lobster (125 CAD), and we both chose the whole lobster. Based on the price and description, we expected something more substantial than simply being served one large lobster each. The final bill came to over 400 CAD, which felt very disappointing considering the overall experience. We were honestly left without words. For comparison, we have dined at places like Joey’s and The Keg where a steak and lobster combination costs around 60 CAD, with a lobster add-on of about 25 CAD. In those cases, the value for money felt far better. While the view from the CN Tower is certainly unique, the food quality and overall value did not match the price in our experience.

Attentive friendly service, very tasty food, nicely arranged. We were positively surprised. That it is not inexpensive is due to the unique location: Rotating restaurant on the CN tower! Highly recommended!
