"I visited Hugo’s Cellar specifically to buy a dessert to go, but I was unfortunately rejected. The staff informed me that they do not sell desserts for takeout and that I couldn’t make the purchase unless I was dining in. It was a very disappointing experience to be turned away as a paying customer over a rigid policy. I was looking forward to trying their food, but this lack of flexibility makes me hesitant to return or even stay at the four queens again.”
$20 steak and lobster tail should have been a $5 special. Idk where they found this "steak" if that's what it is, the tiny lobster tail came out cold enough it may as well have climbed itself outta the ocean and the apple crisp was like a soggy used pair of Huggies. Nothing crispy about it. I didn't expect much but I didn't expect it to be this low level food quality and service.
$9 for a iced dirty chai with oat milk that tasted sooo awful. Thankful they remade the drink, but anyone into chai’s should not get this one…
Amazing service and food
"5/5 stars! Joey Bats Cafe exceeded my expectations in every way! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was OUTSTANDING! Can't wait to come back!"
"Great experience! The coffee, food, and atmosphere were all top-notch. I appreciated that they serve lunch all day. Jacobo's service was exceptional - attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure everything was just right. Highly recommend!"
A very small restaurant with only one wait staff and a very limited menu. Carrot and ginger soup was bland and needed more ginger. Croissant was a bit dry. Pretty decor.
Absolutely would not return this is false advertising. I came for breakfast. Terrible service with a very bad attitude. The food is low quality for the price, the coffee too expensive for flavor, quality and quantity. Be careful this is just a name. I didn't try the pastries after the breakfast experience, I didn't want to continue spending my money, there being so many places of excellent quality and very good service. The truth is that the waiters lack training in customer service and being more gentle. I don't recommend this place at all
After hearing the hype about Magnolia bakery I had to try their cake. The red velvet to be exact. There is absolutely nothing special about this cake because I have eaten better. As a matter of fact it tastes like box cake and it was not moist. I was unhappy with my purchase because I wasted $7.
Fantastic range of cakes, both with and without gluten! Also lots of sandwiches and hot food available. Really nice chilled out feel to the place. Highly recommended, but maybe not for large groups as not a huge amount of space.
I came here twice. Love the vibe. French music and food. Lean and friendly staff. Coffee is delicious. They have quiche, sandwiches and pastries. Nice room in the back for meetings or little gatherings. They also carry an assortment of packaged French items.
*I Really liked the chocolate eclairs & the Marguerita pizza. My husband had a grilled sandwich and a side salad. He said both were fresh and tasted great. *Employees were very nice too. * The place is tiny, but the foods really good.

I waited an hour for my food and never got it and I got up and left. I will never go back

Natas is a small hidden cafe right next to casa vega. The staff was friendly and attentive. There is plenty of outdoor seating and some space inside too. Be sure to try food and sandwiches that are more Portuguese than just the safe paninis. I didn't have any space left for them, but the pastries looked great

Service very fast but Bulgarian waffles served plain not filled with fresh fruit and whipped cream as listed in the menu , when we asked we received fruit jelly , waffles had good taste and texture contrary to hot cakes which were served completely spread out the plate , texture of them was some what dense and not visually appealing, after tasting them we left it aside, we made better hot cakes at home! Butter prepackaged and Syrup already at the table , syrup is not warmed , serve cold , it feels like a fast food cafeteria

As a fan of the TV show, i'd added this as a place to visit on our trip and we were not disappointed. We picked up a selection of cakes/pastries and of course the much coveted Cannolis. Having watched the show, I'd tried cannolis here in the UK and wondered what all the fuss was about but Carlos soon put that myth to bed. They are without doubt, one of the most fantastic pieces of food, I've ever had the pleasure of eating. The crunchy cannoli with its delicious creamy filling was divine. I really could have sat and ate them all day. If you are visiting NY and haven't tried them, add Carlos to your list ofmfood stops and buy.them in bulk, you will not be disappointed. PS...Buddy, please find a way of exporting these to the UK somehow please, please, pleeeeeeease
