A little loud- good coffee!
Baby back was good. Sirloin steak was good. Hubby said back potato wasn't good at all. Was way to noisy for us. Couldn't really hear when we talked .
Came here for my lunch as usual for over two years. I always get their grilled chicken & avocado with chipotle mayo on a roll. As I waited for the order to come through, more and more customers ordered their lunches. As I waited a while, one of the workers shouted "grilled chicken" out loud, and of course, there are plenty of others who ordered grilled chicken on a roll. They proceeded to say that and eventually said very LOUDLY "chinatown" at me!!!!! As I picked up my order, I knew exactly who said it and told the deli owner who usually is behind the cash register what happened. His english is limited but can understood me after I spoke more clearly and slowly of the situation. He still couldn't understand me at all and apologized. For an owner who is also Asian and doesn't train their staff about racist remarks just really hurts their own business.
A chic, sophisticated atmosphere with amazing music, ambience, and a plush and modern setting. The French inspired food and drink are top notch and the coffee is probably the best in town. High marks and recommendations to stop here and treat yourself.
A neighborhood coffee shop with excellent espresso. I spent two hours working here, and the way the baristas treat their customers is truly impressive. They do have a couple of policies that might annoy some people, but honestly, being right in the heart of Soho, I totally get it: Bathroom code: you need to make a purchase first. Wi-Fi: the first hour is free, then you either buy another item or purchase an extra hour online for $6. The cafe itself is super cozy, with great vibes, good music, and it’s spotless, including the bathroom. If you catch them when it’s not too busy, you can even request some of the wildest latte art I’ve ever seen. I ordered a flat white and their pumpkin spice latte, made with real pumpkin, and both were crazy good. Overall, it was a great experience. You really don’t find cafes like this in NYC: casual, great coffee, friendly customers, and zero pretentiousness. I totally recommend this place
Amazing SMALL coffee place. Great coffee, nice staff, good music and atmosphere...
Another little product-themed bakery with a few tables. As you may have guessed, they highlight here is the éclair, but they have other treats as well. It’s a cute place, and the different takes on the delicious French delight, like “Red Velvet”, and “Raspberry Custard”, but they unfortunately fell short of my expectations, of fresh, light and crusty pastry, filled with a custard (and whatever). The pastry was kind of stale, and while the idea of a Red Velvet éclair sounds good, I didn’t get that sweet cream-cheesy thing that supposed to happen. We came here for dessert, around 8:30. Here’s my thing; if you’re going to serve me an éclair at 8:30 pm, I expect it will be the same quality product I would have gotten at 8:30am. Perhaps I was on Australian time, or I got this morning’s éclair. Fyi, I’m from NJ, and not a fan of the humongous chocolate- hooded custard pies called eclairs normally found in a traditional NJ diner, so the tapas-sized portion at Éclair didn’t frighten me at all. I was just expecting something special, and it didn’t happen for me. The staff was cute, friendly and helpful. Two éclairs, a coconut macaroon, and two coffees, $15. I’d give it another shot, if I was passing by, but my socks are still on.
Based on the recommendation of an acquaintance, I decided to give Grace Street a try when I was in Koreatown. I ordered the OG shaved cream with sliced strawberries, red beans and mochi. Since they ran out of black tea, they offered to substitute green tea instead. For lunch, you basically place your order, pay and they'll give you a buzzer when your order is ready. Fifteen minutes later, my buzzer was still silent. When I asked for my order, they acted so confused and then said they inadvertently gave it to another customer who didn't even order shaved cream. It was a simple mistake so I let that go and decided to wait a few more minutes for them to prepare my order. For $9.49 (plus tax), it's a huge portion for two people to share. As for the taste, I tried to like it but the combination with the red beans did not work for me. Also, the shaved cream is way too thick and heavy it almost tasted just like regular green tea ice cream. The place is huge and noisy so it's not a good option to meet up as a large group. Also, the slats on the bench seating was way too uncomfortable. I don't think I'll come back. There are better options in the city
Being vegeterian, it is wonderful going to a restaurant were you can choose from all the menu. This is the kind of place you can only find in New York. If you want to go on a weekend you must make a reservation. However, it's a very noisy place so if you're looking to have a quiet meal this is not the place to go.
I came here twice. Love the vibe. French music and food. Lean and friendly staff. Coffee is delicious. They have quiche, sandwiches and pastries. Nice room in the back for meetings or little gatherings. They also carry an assortment of packaged French items.
A friend recommended it and it was great from the music and the ambience. Good service and good food
A great place, great tea and coffee, good music and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Would much rather support a place like this than Starbucks etc. The staff are very friendly.

Too sweet overnight and too loud swearing on kitchen. The barista is the best thing that this place can offer. BTW, no laptop here :(

Use to live not so far from here. Great NYC village vibe. A calm, clean and quiet place with baristas who’ll make you smile.

Strongly recommend avoiding if you don’t like blasting “hip-hop” music. Croissant with cheese and eggs cold, still cool after reheating. Perhaps I visited on an off day; but too many other coffee shops in the neighborhood. We will avoid, if possible, next time around.
