AWFUL. I’ve travel a lot and this was by far, the worst hotel I’ve ever been to. The pictures are not (not even close) accurate to what the room looked like. The smell was so awful, we tried to open the window but sadly, the room across ours, smelled even worse. No ventilation. The sheets were dirty and the bed cloth was in terrible shape. There was a leak in the bathroom shower. It was suppose to include breakfast- which we knew was nothing fancy at all- it didn’t happen: we came downstairs after 8am (stablished breakfast hours) and there was nothing. Not even the concierge. We rang the bell several times, no answer. The hall and stairs leading to our room was dirty. And, their service was awful as well. I wrote 4 emails (we arrived the 21st of nov) and still waiting for an answer.

Although the rooms were clean, this hotel was tragic and the service sucked. First, there wasn’t a do not disturb on the door so every morning the maid would knock on the door and open your door at 11 AM. Second they acted bothered to ask for towels. …The hand towels and wash clothes were literally hand shredded towels as pictured. I got it for location knowing it wouldn’t be too great but it exceeded my worst expectations. No smoke alarm, the fan was broken in the room so it was stuffy, the street below is extremely loud with sketchy people drinking on the street yelling at people outside the barber shop. The shower was barely a drizzle and the door opened into the bathroom making it so you’d literally need to climb over the toilet to shut the door. Horrendous! Location was the only thing going for it and the room did seem clean.

Amazing pastries and coffee! Really miss how they used to do it, was always a unique experience since you could try new items with the custom board. Now its a standard and basic breakfast board which is okay but nothing that keeps me coming back (just eggs, bread, cheese, yogurt)

A Warm Welcome to the USA at Hotel Fiona! As a first-time visitor to the United States, We couldn't have asked for a better introduction than our stay at Hotel Fiona in San Francisco. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed – and a big part of that was thanks to Erika, our wonderful host. Erika went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable, safe, and informed. She was incredibly friendly and helpful, taking time to answer my questions about the area, give local tips, and recommend nearby restaurants and attractions that weren’t just tourist traps. Her kindness really set the tone for the whole trip. The hotel itself is charming, clean, and well-located – close enough to walk to many key spots in the city, but still in a peaceful neighborhood. Room was cozy, well-kept, and had everything we needed. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like great coffee and tea in the morning and the quiet, restful atmosphere after a day of sightseeing. As someone experiencing the USA for the first time, I felt genuinely cared for here. Hotel Fiona, and Erika in particular, helped make my trip memorable in the best possible way. Highly recommend to anyone visiting San Francisco – especially if it's your first time in the States!

A great breakfast experience! Service was fantastic!

A nice place to spend an evening with company. They offer a fixed menu formula with a very rich side dish buffet and meat that is served and cut directly at the table. The types of meat they serve are different: chicken, lamb, angus, fillet, etc., and the cuts of meat are also varied. The quality of the meat is good. Recommended!

-They were ready to let me sleep on the street because they don’t accept cash. I offered to pay immediately and settle by card within a couple of hours- the manager refused. -Left stranded in the lobby for 3 hours until I could figure out this with a family member who lives in a different timezone, evening plans ruined. -Nowhere on their website does it say cash payments aren’t accepted. -Sent a complaint 4 days ago -still no response. -Towels offered are stained -Weeks after booking, noticed my room rate dropped by 40%! I asked if their current 15% Fall discount could at least be applied to my room- refused after 10 days of silence. -You must check in before 5 PM or go to their “sister company.” There is NO front desk from 5 PM to 9 AM. -They hand you the building key- feels more like an expensive Airbnb than a hotel. -Wi-Fi code missing from the room -Breakfast was way below average. -Skittles, their cat, is overweight and over-grooming Bottom line: A beautiful hotel needs more than charm- it needs real service. The front desk staff was nice but that obviously isn't enough. Sadly, this place seems to rely on its old reputation rather than delivering genuine hospitality.

1. I was charged for valet twice even though I had moved to a different parking garage and wasnt even in their garage 24 hours. 2. Someone charged their breakfast to my room. 3. I had to dispute 2 extra charges on my card for the bar because I was double charged. 4. A mystery charge for 20+ dollars was also charged for something on none of my receipts. 5. Customer service continued to give me the run around for days.

100% recommended. 5/5 for friendly and professional staff, cleanliness, convenient location, safe and quiet. Near every place we wanted to visit. We could enjoy entertainment of other near hotels. Should include more breakfast variety and items.

"We rarely get people from California here," said our concierge. Indeed, most of the guests here were from foreign lands: Germany, France, Russia, Japan. It's a hipster hotel, definitely. The staircase is off-kilter (we were on the fourth floor) and the elevator features a cage. If you take a south-facing room, expect the garbage truck in the alley at 4;30 a.m. Also: remote parking comes in at $30 per day. Still, the venue was prepared with care and a sense of daring. The place is cheap and fun and in the center of the action. We loved the raisin bread in the morning. The staff is top notch. We loved the live music in the bar at night. Stay here expecting an experience that is clean and supported but not usual!

$100+/night for Union Square location, clean room, working bathroom, working Wi-Fi, complimentary breakfast and round-the-clock tea/coffee/water! Apart from the loud heating pipes in the room, it really did its job for my 5D/4N stay in San Francisco. Thank You to the gentleman at the reception who was kind enough to offer us takeaways upon our early check-out at 5+am. I’ll be back!

- Location: Near Powell St Station, the southern terminus for cable car rides, and the office and commercial buildings on Market St. Far from touristy areas up north, but you can hail rideshare or taxis for that. San Fran isn’t the safest city in the world, but I never felt outright unsafe around the hotel. - Atmosphere: Communal-feeling, stately, and polished. The property has certainly been around for a while, but the grand lobby and common areas/hallways didn’t feel neglected. There are three different towers or sections of the property to stay in, labeled one; two; and three, and different elevators go to each. - Service: Larysa at the front desk at check-in delivered a real masterclass in how to serve guests, especially those with Hilton status. She was generous enough, seeing as I was coming in late at night from a transpacific flight and slated to check out the next day, to waive the destination fee—wow! She let me extend my checkout a bit in the afternoon and was very thorough in explaining the hotel’s layout and amenities. More than anything, she was so friendly and hospitable. THANK YOU Larysa! - Room: I’d recommend a refurbishment soon, but I felt my space was clean and functional for my brief stay. The only glitch in cleanliness was in the form of a tiny, orange crumb on the bathroom floor from some type of leftover food, but stuff like that is not critical. I requested a room facing the outdoor pool/courtyard due to concerns with city noise, and soundproofing exceeded my expectations (didn’t even hear any people chatting). With a prospective renovation in mind, I hope the hotel can install smart lighting/room control technology (as San Francisco is an Asian-oriented city where room tech is generally prevalent), as well as bidets (at least in higher-category rooms) for the same reason. Other than that, I enjoyed my time in the room. NOTE: I do recall seeing a tablet inside my room that may have featured some room tech…so investigate that when you stay here, and perhaps you’ll be pleasantly surprised! - Amenities: Your typical full-service Hilton perks, all in play here. There’s a cool rooftop bar open evenings with wrap-around city views, which I didn’t patron on my stay. Note that breakfast in the lobby restaurant is almost 60 USD per person, and since we’re in America, elites only get an $18 credit—I highly recommend patroning the grab-and-go cafe for any morning meal needs instead. Also about food—I wish the hotel would place their food delivery order counter (e.g. DoorDash, GrubHub bags) in a more discreet location rather than in the middle of the entryway area. It is convenient for delivery drivers, but what’s to prevent a rogue individual from tampering with or stealing bags/containers meant for someone else? It took a bit for me to physically find the counter after I ordered DoorDash, but those thoughts hit me when I eventually found it. - Value: Even with a destination fee (which, again, I was fortunate enough to have waived), I can’t complain about prices at this downtown Hilton. They’re generally quite reasonable. Plus the incidentals deposit is low and is refunded quickly. The Hilton is an excellent value for families, business travelers, conference-goers, and practically anyone seeking comfortable urban lodging.

Historic property that’s been recently updated. Rooms with shared and private baths. Shared facilities appeared well maintained and with no wait times. No air conditioning but excellent updated fan and windows that opened, the building design enabled sufficient wind to come thru to my room. Seventh floor location was generally quiet though on Friday evening there were quite a few slammed doors. A working elevator was available. Don’t recall seeing any rooms available on the ground level for accessibility. No morning breakfast option, only coffee and tea service for about three hours daily.

I truly cannot rate this hotel highly enough. We’ve been loyal customers of Warwick SF since 2024, when we had a terrible experience at a nearby hotel and needed to move after the first night. Nestor, who still works here to this day, checked us in at 9 am the next morning so our toddler could nap and made sure we had everything we needed. We’ve stayed in both the suites and most recently in the Superior Queen, and I love both. The rooms are thoughtfully appointed, have comfortable beds and nice amenities. The hotel is so clean, and the cleaning staff is so efficient and fastidious in their work. I’m just wrapping up another stay with my daughter, and I’m blown away again at the kindness of the staff and how well looked after I feel. We are so sad to be leaving, which you know is a mark of a good hotel and a great stay. We will always stay here when we come to SF, and our experience here has made us loyal customers of Warwick in general (shout out to the Seattle staff, who are also excellent!).

We were greeted by a very sweet lady at the front desk. Her name was Josiel. Though we were a bit early she checked us in without any extra charge. The hotel is in a good and safe location with easy access to Salesforce tower, Ferry Marketplace and Embarcadero. The room is value for money. The only downside is no complimentary breakfast and the views from the room in terms of privacy
