Average experience overall. The coffee was decent but didn’t particularly stand out compared to nearby cafes. Seating was limited and the interior felt somewhat cramped. Not unpleasant, but it didn’t impress me given the cost.

Café Jalu inside Printemps is a beautiful space with great aesthetics, but the coffee doesn’t match the setting. For the price and overall vibe, you’d expect a higher-quality drink and better presentation, but it was pretty average and nothing memorable. With so many better coffee spots in the area, this one is easy to skip.

Decent atmosphere, but the flavors are not there. For the price, we expect much better and especially more. Too bad, the place has potential.

First time here from the UK. We had high hopes for this place as it looked pretty until we were served by the lady manager whom was extremely rude. she was rude to her staff and created some what of a hostile atmosphere in the place. No recommendations for this place with bad manners. Coffee was poor too.

I have eaten at Mei Li Wah since i was a child. I returned this week with my children to give them a taste of "Real Chinese Food". While the food no longer is pushed up and down the aisle on a cart for you too choose from, the dim sum is still exceedingly good. I would pass on the bigger dishes and stick with the dumplings and Bao. you can't go wrong. Likewise the service hasn't changed much in 45 years as well. it's still indifferent at best and gets worse from there. It's not uncommon to be the only non native Chinese speaker in the place at a given time, which to me is a terrific recommendation, but can lead to language confusion when ordering. The decor is dated and sometimes a little dirty. don't let it dissuade you from sampling the dumplings. I haven't found better in NYC.

Service is so-so, atmospher is nothing special, food is worth that everage, but tips of 20% automatically included. Restaueant is heavy overpriced.

a nice little cafe serving traditional American food. food and services good but horrified to be served water in dirty glasses!! seriously? post Covid? first glass had remnants?? clinging to the interior of the glass. second glass had lipstick stains on the rim very off putting… perhaps a new efficient dishwasher or more attention to detail!! disappointing
