1. 60$ per night - shared bathrooms. (Not even that one bathroom is clean) 2. Remove one B in B&B, I've had better 'breakfast' at gas stations' vending machines. 3. My tent looks better on the inside than that room did

5 stars for the stunning mountain location and views, but only 1 star for the Christmas buffet experience. On December 25, 2025, we paid a very high price for the holiday buffet expecting a special, elevated meal at this beautiful spot—and it was a huge letdown. The food was not fresh at all: several dishes tasted and looked like they had been sitting out or reheated for hours, with dry textures and bland flavors. The presentation was terrible—everything was messy, trays were nearly empty most of the time, no clear labels, and it all looked carelessly thrown together. This doesn’t come close to justifying the steep cost. In a place that promotes itself as “the most authentic wintertime destination in Southern Nevada,” we expected at least some quality and attention to detail for a festive holiday buffet, but it felt rushed and low-effort. The price simply doesn’t match what was delivered. Sadly, we won’t be returning for the food, though the hotel and surroundings remain gorgeous. I recommend skipping the buffet and just enjoying the scenery—or trying the regular a la carte menu if available.

Breakfast finishes at 1030 and wait time was 90 minutes late-morning, and the food wasn't even worth it. The restaurant fails to take advantage of the fact that it's the only one for 10 miles.

A great place for breakfast - get there early though or you will wait.

Absolutely amazing food. Have come here two years in a row while in town for an event and will always make a point to come here for breakfast. Quick service for top tier food 11/10 no notes. Back again a year later and every bit as good as last year and the year before!

My family is visiting Las Vegas for CES and we decided to visit the Strat to play 3 card poker for a nice break during the show. We took a taxi from the convention center, specifically for this purpose, on Thursday, January 8, around 1PM. Upon entering the casino, we noticed noone manning the 3 card poker table and asked the pit boss to open the table which he refused to do despite having personnel at tables with no people! He said to come back at 4, which we explained was impossible. He wouldn't accomodate us despite having manned, but empty tables! My daughter and I came there SPECIFICALLY for this purpose and felt the pit boss' decision to be unwarranted considering the circumstances. The YouTube videos show this place as a welcoming and friendly place; they allow filming in the morning as well. Unfortunately, the videos do not convey the Strat accurately. I feel the pit boss needs to be retrained to be more accommodating, flexible, and less rude. He squandered a good opportunity and left us deeply disappointed, not to mention the money we wasted on needless transportation. My advice would be to seek out your gambling experience elsewhere with friendlier staff whom are more in tune to the needs of their customers.

#1. Parking: We arrived at Self Parking because Google took us to the wrong entrance. So - no problem...but the underground parking was not clearly marked for people who had never parked there. Please create better signage. #2. Check in was ok, but they never offered us bottled water. Once we got to the room, we found out you have to go all the way back to the front desk. Ugh! #3. Room. The room was great, shower great, pillows and beds great, nice size. Really nice rooms - all good there. #4. BRERA Osteria for dinner was killer. Terrific food. #5. Staff who came to our room, room service and housekeeping to make up the pullout, both people were fantastic. #6. We had booked the AX rate, which comes with a $65 breakfast credit. BUT - this hotel does not allow breakfast before 6am on that rate. You have to wait until 6am to order Room Service, or go to a restaurant. We were driving to LA, so we thought grabbing coffee and croissants at Bouchon Bakery for the road would be fastest. Nope! Got to Bouchon Bakery 10 minutes before 6am opening, but they opened 12 minutes late. People were bailing out of line...so it went a bit faster once open. #7. The hotel only had two people checking guests out - on the Sunday morning after Thanksgiving. Ugh! We got on the road finally at 6:40am. A drag when driving to LA. Two "ughs" are the reason for four stars, and not five. A few other things that we had to wait for which at the rates this hotel charges, there should never be a wait. We would love to give it another shot.

*Disappointing Stay at Rose Desert* "Our stay at Rose Desert was disappointing. Broken glass on the floor injured my daughter's foot, and the issue wasn't properly addressed. Additionally, when we requested room cleaning, we were told it couldn't be done until the next day. The bathrooms were dirty, and there were crumbs of food on the nightstand, so I had to clean the room before letting my family in. The pool area was also noisy, making it difficult to sleep in the morning if your room faces the pool. This lack of attention to safety and cleanliness fell short of our expectations. Hopefully, the hotel will take steps to improve."

Our room was quiet and the hotel is in a pleasant area off the main Strip. The grounds & property were well-maintained and the staff very friendly & helpful. The daily complimentary breakfast led by Marjore set a nice vibe for each day of our stay. Bueno!

Stayed here over Easter weekend. A little too cool yet to enjoy the outdoor pool, but, definitely will when we come back and its warmer. The hotel was off the strip, away from all of the party noise, and masses of people. Fast food was just across the street, as well as a convenience store for your snacks and drinks. Free breakfast in the mornings. Speaking of food and drinks; our room had a nice full sized fridge in the kitchen for storing all those drinks and food, and microwave to heat up those leftovers. Plenty of space in our one bedroom suite, with a balcony as well! One small issue during our stay; the balcony door wouldnt lock, but maintenance came up and put a temporary fix on it, which was fine with us, since we were on an upper floor. This hotel is directly under the flight path of planes leaving the airport, so there is airplane all day long til about 1am.. bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Otherwise, we loved this place.

"All staff are excellent, Alex, Mgr, Luz, Asst. Mgr, Rosa, asst. Mgr, Michael asst. Mgr, Rashad, and Maggie are all that you could ask for on a vacation, and the accommodations were wonderful as well, and the breakfast was superb!"

The phrase you get what you pay for describes Treasure Island perfectly. It's cheap. My room looked 33 years old. The lamp shades were damaged, the air conditioning was poor and the tinting was peeling off my window. The front desk line was over a half hour long and the pool was unremarkable. They shouldn't call this a resort or charge resort fees. There was nothing going on and we had to go to other casinos to have a good time. The slots were tight, no continental breakfast, and the ceiling was broken and stained in the casino.

Do NOT purchase a timeshare at the Grandview at Las Vegas! We got suckered into purchasing in 2014. Highly regret it. Multiple reservations were booked for the same week. Issue checking in for all. Starting from Sunday-Wed, we spent an average of 56 hours trying to check in. Guest checking in was moved from floors and rooms 3 times. Their party had a disabled veteran who has trouble walking, moving to different rooms and floors. They were also notified of this. For their troubles, They were only waived their resort fee. Gee, thanks! The front desk also could not find their reservation and gave them the wrong rooms. When it came time for me to check in on Wednesday, my reservations were nowhere to be found. I spent hours on the with RCI and Vacatia to receive some sort of help. At the end, I had tl inconvenience the guest to meet me in the lobby to check in, because they put all reservations under his name. Non apologetic staff. When asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told he was with a client. I waited and saw he was free but did not make his way towards me. Never directly spoke to me. The person in front of me kept going back and forth to talk to him. He avoided us. No sort of compensation was given. At this point we just wanted our rooms. When asked the next day for a compensation for our many hours wasted in their lobby, we were reluctantly given 2, only 2 measly vouchers to a buffet. There's so much more, but I'll just end there. By far the top worst experience had at the Grandview.

The Paris Hotel was right in the thick of it on the strip. So location wise it is brilliant, and the room was comfortable but as other reviews mention, it looked tired, carpet dated in places and doors and huge chips in them and the windows were disgusting! We ate breakfast from Cafe Americano next to the casino most mornings, $8 croissants and $6/7 for coffee. There was a CVS Pharmacy to the right of the hotel as you come out, which was handy for water, snacks and alcohol that we stored in the fridge in our room. A beer in the hotel was $24 so this came in handy! Service was good everywhere, and the hotel looks fantastic with its French theme, would recommend a trip up the Eiffel Tower observation point at night and we ate in the restaurant once and the food was superb. We also paid extra for a view of the Bellagio water fountains which were great. All in all a good base for our 6 days in Vegas, but the rooms look dated.
