"I visited Hugo’s Cellar specifically to buy a dessert to go, but I was unfortunately rejected. The staff informed me that they do not sell desserts for takeout and that I couldn’t make the purchase unless I was dining in. It was a very disappointing experience to be turned away as a paying customer over a rigid policy. I was looking forward to trying their food, but this lack of flexibility makes me hesitant to return or even stay at the four queens again.”
"You're a hazard for being in the way" as I was Charging my device. Some janitor looking guy telling me to move out the way like he has some sort of authority. Older dude, white long hair thats slicked back. But he was being aggressive. Fire him. There's no need for that type of energy in Las Vegas.
$20 steak and lobster tail should have been a $5 special. Idk where they found this "steak" if that's what it is, the tiny lobster tail came out cold enough it may as well have climbed itself outta the ocean and the apple crisp was like a soggy used pair of Huggies. Nothing crispy about it. I didn't expect much but I didn't expect it to be this low level food quality and service.
Great service
Very friendly staff.
Excellent service.
Personally would not trust this hotel. I booked my rooms directly with Marriott and received confirmation email of rate. Once I departed the hotel after my stay, my rate was significantly higher. I spoke to manager at hotel during checkout and showed him Marriott's email with rates and confirmation, to which he would not honor. I tried recourse with Marriott directly and their customer service is just as bad as the service at the hotel. Buyer beware, just because he book directly with hotel and receive confirmation, the hotel has leverage to change your rate, or at least in my case. Hotel also looks much better on their website then in person. Average hotel at best.
My family is visiting Las Vegas for CES and we decided to visit the Strat to play 3 card poker for a nice break during the show. We took a taxi from the convention center, specifically for this purpose, on Thursday, January 8, around 1PM. Upon entering the casino, we noticed noone manning the 3 card poker table and asked the pit boss to open the table which he refused to do despite having personnel at tables with no people! He said to come back at 4, which we explained was impossible. He wouldn't accomodate us despite having manned, but empty tables! My daughter and I came there SPECIFICALLY for this purpose and felt the pit boss' decision to be unwarranted considering the circumstances. The YouTube videos show this place as a welcoming and friendly place; they allow filming in the morning as well. Unfortunately, the videos do not convey the Strat accurately. I feel the pit boss needs to be retrained to be more accommodating, flexible, and less rude. He squandered a good opportunity and left us deeply disappointed, not to mention the money we wasted on needless transportation. My advice would be to seek out your gambling experience elsewhere with friendlier staff whom are more in tune to the needs of their customers.
@thecalcasino Currently having the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had with a hotel in Las Vegas with your team. Booked a room for my dear friend and his family from your website, your front desk will not check them in, the service on YOUR website has no ability to change reservation name and has kept me on hold for 60 minutes and this family waiting in the lobby for over an hour so far.
Our room was quiet and the hotel is in a pleasant area off the main Strip. The grounds & property were well-maintained and the staff very friendly & helpful. The daily complimentary breakfast led by Marjore set a nice vibe for each day of our stay. Bueno!
An absolutely amazing dessert experience! Highly recommend doing the combo dessert they have. And sit at the bar if you can and watch them put these amazing mouth watering desserts together! The staff are super friendly and bubbly. Also they make custom cakes which look so amazing and lots of humor. Side note the bathroom is super clean!!
Coming from a bi-culinary family, (vegan and carnivorous) going out to dinner can be a challenge. But thanks to Ferraro’s Ristorante, we could happily eat as a family with no compromises. This family-run Italian eatery tucked is in the corner of a CVS Plaza . Though it is located off strip, I promise, it is well worth the trip. It’s unassuming from the outside but once you get in you are greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere and staff. THE BREAD: Once seated, we were served a generous bread bowl with sourdough, focaccia and pretzel rolls and a delicious olive oil and cheese chimichurri style dip. SALAD: I highly recommend the CAESAR SALAD, which is served wedge style, and is incredibly crisp and fresh not to anchovy-ish at all. The INSALATE MIMMO is just as delicious if you’re craving a summery-inspired salad of vine, ripened, tomatoes, and mozzarella, so creamy and savory! VEGAN: we were delighted to be presented with (upon asking) an entire vegan menu with everything from salads to soups to entrees. THE EGGPLANT PARMESAN was flavorful and hearty. Even the carnivores enjoyed the dish. A true delight! POLLO VESUVIO: Don’t be fooled by the simplicity of this dish. The chicken is juicy, tender and divine! The veg was perfectly cooked and only my lady-like decorum prevented me sipping it straight off the plate! LASAGNA: Just about the best lasagna I’ve ever had, hands down! The cheese was creamy but not overwhelming. The meat was well seasoned and savory melt in your mouth tender and noodles were perfectly cooked. And the sauce was so divine. I begged the staff for some extra as we could not get enough! Before we discuss dessert, a word about THE STAFF: the customer service is top notch! Our glasses were always full. Questions were answered quickly and thoughtfully. We were made to feel like the most important people in the room! Our server, VIRGILIO was attentive and kind and took his time guiding us through the many options. His food runners were fast and responsive which we greatly appreciated. And at the end of the meal we were personally greeted by the charming CHEF MIMMO himself. As if getting to enjoy his culinary talents wasn’t enough, he COMPED us a round of dessert!! THE DESSERT: At the chef’s recommendation we had the COCONUT & STRAWBERRY GELATO (Vegan) which was incredibly creamy, fresh and light. If summer vacation was a gelato, this would be it! And finally, the CIOCCOLATISSIMO! I mean what is there to say??? It’s THE perfect level of chocolate cake-y, chocolate mousse-y goodness paired with bright, tart berries and smooth as velvet gelato. A perfect ending to a perfect meal! Ferraro family, I wish you many years of success one because you deserve it and two because selfishly want to eat here every time I visit Las Vegas!

Awful and disappointed. I wanted to treat my significant other to his first visit to Las Vegas. Being this was his first time I wanted him to be centrally located to everything so I code the Linq because of this. First of all, there Uber dropped us off at the designated drop off and pick up location which is in a dark alley. When we exited the vehicle we noticed a very strong unpleasant smell which we chalked up to being the alley smell. We got to the check in desk and was offered an upgrade to a better room for an additional $15 per night ( totaling $90 for 6 nights). We were also charged $53 per night resort fee. Which cost us almost an additional $500 in addition to the original fee we paid for our room. As we walked to our room the offensive smell got worse and worse. Speaking with another guest in the elevator, we were told the smell had been there all week. When we got to our room, we were shocked at that we were paying a$53 ‘resort fee ‘ for a basic hotel room. M although I initially was disappointed because of the lack of a microwave, I was even more shocked that there were no drawers in the room to put our clothing. I was told that none of the rooms had drawers. How do they expect 2 adults to stay there for 7 days with no where to put our clothing? I guess we are expected to live out of our suitcases! This is not the experience that I expect for the price point I paid for this resort!! I will never return again. Nor will I encourage anyone else to. Unless they want a budget hotel experience that they are paying premium resort fed for. Also, the staff was very rude and uncomplaining. When we asked about the smell we were told it was the grease trap and they were wining on it. I do not believe that to be the case because numerous people were commenting on it and the length of time they were smelling it. I am still here more and considering finding somewhere else to stay.

Lan was incredible! I hope you’re fortunate to meet her during your stay. She took great care of me, and made my experience all the better. Horseshoe is great proximity, connected to Paris, and their customer service is top notch. Thanks Lan!!!! 🌟
