1 star for the decor and 1 star for the location. Slow service, it took 30 minutes for our drinks to be served and one hour to get our food. Ok alcohol. Meh food. I dont think I would order them even at half of its price Expensive: I suggest to have one appetizer and one main meal. If not, you might need to grab something else afterwards. And thumbs down for the automatic tips options that start at 18% after tax
4.8/5? No idea how that's possible. We arrived at 5:35 PM. We were told they opened at 6:00 PM. (It says 5:30 PM on the door and on Google). Upon returning, no one at the counter. We could see people behind the kitchen doors. Even other customers tried to get attention and no one came out. We ordered on the machine, but the menu was not the same as at the counter. No curly fries, and misleading AI photos. No one came out until the food was ready. I ordered an extra 2 chicken tenders, I was told it was in my burger... With chicken. The extra mac n cheese tasted like water... We will not be returning. No music or ambiance.
A family outing for a birthday celebration, the service was too slow the dishes came without sides you had to order the dishes and also your side dish the waitress was very nice and attentive no meal planned for children not even an alternative, the atmosphere was very cold for my taste
1st time here and it's validated Super delicious and generous Nice atmosphere Great service We'll be back
3 floors of wonderfully decorated interior.
A beautiful ambiance. The staff were courteous and kind. As I am vegetarian, the menu had choices for me. I enjoyed the barley risotto.
Actually the worst... I was so excited for this brunch as I am VERY obsessed with brunch. I have been to several brunch places in my area that are by far better than this place. "Cool" ambiance clearly over hyped. I don't go to restaurants for the mood but the food. My food came cold, the service was absent. My cappuccino was the worst cappuccino I have had in Canada so far. So expensive for what the food was, i had classic eggs, potatoes and pancake. It was actually the worst I've had, out of all the other places I've tried. I'm so disappointed in this place I've taken the time to write this review. I can't believe people actually line up for hours on the weekend to eat here.
After reading good reviews for this Ethiopian restaurant, we were excited to check it out! Here we go: The Maître d'hotel awaits you in some kind of 'glass cabin' inside the restaurant, something I have never seen anywhere in my whole life, quite interesting I must say. Felt a bit like ordering tickets at the train station, but no, let's just get a table in this blue lit - with white seats furnished établissement. For an African restaurant, I found the atmosphere cold. The waterfall on the wall and the distant techno music didn't help, you feel like you are stuck somewhere in the 80ies. The waiters didn't offer apperitives nor did they explain the exotic dishes or how to properly eat them. Actually, they were quite cold, too. The plates with little rolled-pancakes (nobody explained what they were, or what to do with them, unfortunately) looked good - but only so much in this cold surrounding. Taste wasn't exceptional, a lot of lentils and pois chiche without much of an oomph. Honestly, I found that a little overpriced, but ok. Drinks and wine made sense. Still, we came for the food, but it was somewhat dull and didn't taste much. Just because you eat these rolls with your fingers (what some ppl might find adventurous) doesn't make this restaurant a great restaurant! I mean, not for us... not going back there.
After reading the reviews we had high expectations of this place. Food is definitely not the best Italian like some say. Having traveled in Italy, I know for a fact that this doesn’t come anywhere near to the best Italian cuisine. The lamb was overcooked and dry. All the dishes were prepared simple without standing out. I expected much more for the money you are paying. Service is very mediocre at its best. The decor is OK (therefor 2 stars and not 1) Having tried many restaurants in Montréal I wouldn’t recommend this place. It is better to spend your money somewhere else.
11 out of 10! Spectacular, immediate, authentic atmosphere paired with professional service with a smile and simply delicious food!
12 members of the Montreal chapter of Skål International, a global association of travel executives reunited after 18 months of isolation due to Covid-19. We were served a selection of luncheon items. Our members reviewed the restaurant on its location, quality of service, quality of the food, quantity, atmosphere, and their desire to return. The group average was 4.5 on 5.
12 of us enjoyed a lively and varied menu where the service was very good and the food outstanding across the menu. Everyone had an excellent time the atmosphere in the restaurant is very welcoming, we will definitely return.

Fiorellino is a quintessential Montréal spot! It’s gorgeous, perfectly located downtown, and always buzzing with energy. I’ve been coming here since 2016, and it remains a staple for a great pizza in Montréal! The Vibe & Service: I almost always visited on Friday or Saturday evenings, and you should know: it is packed and very loud. They did have a DJ playing music (vibes 10/10), which creates a great atmosphere, but the tables are very close to each other, so expect an intimate (and noisy) experience! Logistics can be a bit of a shuffle. This time we had a 7:00 PM reservation for six people, but still spent 10 minutes huddled in the cold, cramped entryway before being moved to the bar. We weren't seated at our actual table until 20-30 minutes past our reservation time. Service over the years has been consistently "average" but functional, but definitely felt the pressure of the weekend rush. The Food & Drinks: The food is the saving grace. The cocktails are fantastic and well-crafted. The pizza is the absolute star as the dough is incredibly light and airy with that perfect wood-fired char. I’ve tried the gnocchi and the polpete (meatballs) in the past; they are delicious, though definitely on the pricier side for the portions. Verdict: Go for the incredible pizza and the energy. It’s a great spot if you’re looking for a lively weekend scene, but just don't expect a quiet conversation or a perfectly timed table!

I recently celebrated a birthday at Dorsia in Old Port, and the entire experience truly exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we walked in, it felt like we had stepped into a Michelin-star restaurant in the heart of Paris. The atmosphere is elegant and refined, creating the perfect setting for a special occasion. As for the food, it was absolutely unbelievable. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor, clearly crafted with care and precision. I would highly recommend Dorsia to anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience in Old Montreal. It’s the perfect spot for celebrating something special or simply enjoying an exceptional night out.

This place is beautiful and historic. It’s disappointing that the staff are not more friendly and seem indifferent to their patrons. Given the prices they charge for a meal, I expect more effort. I love the location and the decor.
