Actually the worst... I was so excited for this brunch as I am VERY obsessed with brunch. I have been to several brunch places in my area that are by far better than this place. "Cool" ambiance clearly over hyped. I don't go to restaurants for the mood but the food. My food came cold, the service was absent. My cappuccino was the worst cappuccino I have had in Canada so far. So expensive for what the food was, i had classic eggs, potatoes and pancake. It was actually the worst I've had, out of all the other places I've tried. I'm so disappointed in this place I've taken the time to write this review. I can't believe people actually line up for hours on the weekend to eat here.
11 out of 10! Spectacular, immediate, authentic atmosphere paired with professional service with a smile and simply delicious food!
12 members of the Montreal chapter of Skål International, a global association of travel executives reunited after 18 months of isolation due to Covid-19. We were served a selection of luncheon items. Our members reviewed the restaurant on its location, quality of service, quality of the food, quantity, atmosphere, and their desire to return. The group average was 4.5 on 5.
12 of us enjoyed a lively and varied menu where the service was very good and the food outstanding across the menu. Everyone had an excellent time the atmosphere in the restaurant is very welcoming, we will definitely return.
1 star for the decor and 1 star for the location. Slow service, it took 30 minutes for our drinks to be served and one hour to get our food. Ok alcohol. Meh food. I dont think I would order them even at half of its price Expensive: I suggest to have one appetizer and one main meal. If not, you might need to grab something else afterwards. And thumbs down for the automatic tips options that start at 18% after tax
A family outing for a birthday celebration, the service was too slow the dishes came without sides you had to order the dishes and also your side dish the waitress was very nice and attentive no meal planned for children not even an alternative, the atmosphere was very cold for my taste
A really bad experience today. We went to the store at 8pm, and were told right after that it would close at nine o'clock. As soon as we got our food and sit down, which was around 8:20, the staff started packing up and cleaning right next to us. I don’t know much about the closing process at Mandy’s, but it made us feel like we were not welcome. Also, the containers and cutlery for dine-in which used to be something really attract me are no different from those for takeout, It’s not worth wasting my time to eat in the store. (Not to mention that these costs $54) I used to love Mandy’s so much and always come here every time I’m in Montreal, but the experience is just getting worse every time. I hope the owner could pay more attention on keeping the reputation while opening tons of new locations.
1st time here and it's validated Super delicious and generous Nice atmosphere Great service We'll be back
4 of us arrived this morning for breakfast. Every one of us really enjoyed our meals and thought the best breakfasts would could ever remember having?! From the breakfast club to the avacado /chicken and eggs, absolutely delicious! Would recommend for anyone in the downtown Montreal area!
A beautiful place with a lot of variety, clean and good atmosphere ❤️

Such a tourist trap! First, it is packed to the gills. The staff is so rude and we tried what was supposedly the two items they are known for and both were so horrible, we threw them away. It is off a busy square and is mentioned in the Rick Steve's walking tour. Both of those red flags should have clued me in even though it is one of the oldest bakeries.

Unused tickets can be refunded early but become invalid after the entry date. It’s recommended to visit in the morning, allowing 4–6 hours. Walked into Bar George for dinner with friends and were greeted with something unusual: before even sitting down, we were informed the minimum tip is 20%. Nothing says “welcome” like being told how much gratitude you owe before you’ve even seen the menu. After dinner I paid the whole bill. Later at home we noticed we were charged for two extra drinks we never ordered. Not a huge amount of money, but that’s not the point — it’s a matter of honesty. I called the restaurant and was told to email the manager. I emailed two contacts (apparently a manager and an accountant). No reply. Twice. So the system seems to be: 1. Demand a generous tip upfront. 2. Add mystery drinks to the bill. 3. Ignore the customer afterwards. If you dine here, read your bill carefully — apparently the drinks menu may continue after you leave.

I recently celebrated a birthday at Dorsia in Old Port, and the entire experience truly exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we walked in, it felt like we had stepped into a Michelin-star restaurant in the heart of Paris. The atmosphere is elegant and refined, creating the perfect setting for a special occasion. As for the food, it was absolutely unbelievable. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor, clearly crafted with care and precision. I would highly recommend Dorsia to anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience in Old Montreal. It’s the perfect spot for celebrating something special or simply enjoying an exceptional night out.
