1 cos we are not happy very expensive place not worth it and we are not satisfied. We regret to inform you that we are dissatisfied with our recent experience at your establishment. My rock of lamp was not cook properly and my food have men’s hair small tiny. Our bill was 1500cad 200++ tip for the snobby and not nice waiter. We are making a jokes if we can have free shots but he just refused. After taking 200++ tips for his pocket. Despite this being our second visit, we find the prices to be exorbitant and the overall value to be lacking. As a result, we have decided not to return in the future. We will never go back or bring our guess for business to this restaurant. It’s our second visit but never have to go back again.
15 years ago this was a nice, gentlemans and lady hangout. Thick carpets, big chairs, older experienced waiters, great food. Today it's run by snarky millenial managers, belligerent waitresses, crowded with loud drugged up rich punks and the food is mediocre at best. Did Drake buy them out? Definitely not worth the hundreds of bucks you'll drop for a dinner here. $23+tax+tip for a gin and soda. Oysters are sub par for sure. Too bad, this used to be a classic. Not anymore. Don't get trapped by the fancy entrance. Avoid this place. Coming from a Toronto steakhouse connoisseur.
17.3.2025 - 19:15 hrs. LA MALLORQUINA. PUERTA DEL SOL. MADRID. That you are excited to have a couple of "torrillas con crema" and the waiter (Andrés; in the living room), tells you that THERE IS NO, can be understood. But for us to order two cream-free torrijas, to be served to other tables and tell us they're done... it was amazing. I told him and those show him that his companions took them to other tables. As he looked caught he said: I'll see if they stay!. Therefore, it was not so certain that they were over. After 2 minutes: brought us 2 plates and 2 torrijas. He added: only these were left. We saw, during our time in the living room, that they were still serving torrijas... What was your problem?: THAT I HAD TO GO DOWNSTAIRS TO THE CAFETERIA/PAKERY AND UPSTAIRS WITH THE TURRETTES. (They must not have plates for torrijas). And I ask La Mallorquina again and ask myself: WHY IS THE STAFF SO UNLIKELY, WITH CUSTOMERS, ALWAYS?
After a lighthearted evening watching & Juliet, we made our way to Scaddabush for some Italian comfort food. All of EnD Adventures was together — our daughters, friends, and the two of us — which already set the tone for a memorable night out. Despite the restaurant being packed, we were seated quickly. Our server, Noah, stopped by early with menus and the nightly specials. It was clear the entire team was hustling; drinks took longer than usual, but Noah was doing everything he could to keep the pace. The space itself was a delight. Warm lighting, thoughtful décor, and those whimsical canned vegetables added a quirky charm that made the room feel inviting and full of character. There was always something interesting to notice. The fresh mozzarella — their signature — absolutely lived up to its reputation. Creamy, rich, and beautifully prepared, it was easily the standout of the table. Our meals arrived hot and exactly as ordered, and everyone enjoyed their choices. The only real downside was the long gaps between check-ins for drink refills or questions. With several large tables nearby and the restaurant buzzing, it was understandable, though still noticeable. All in all, it was a lovely evening, and we’d happily return — perhaps to a quieter location next time, just to see how the service feels when the pace isn’t quite so intense. $14.95 is prize for lunch buffet with unlimited items like butter chicken chicken , tandoori chicken , saag paneer and may more. Traditional Indian taste with convenient service. Definitely I will go soon again.
100% gluten free heaven. This place is delicious! I have celiac disease so it was amazing not having to worry about a single thing I ordered. My friends all loved the food as well. The service was so friendly and quick that we came back multiple times on our visit to Montreal! I highly recommend the yuca fries, and the plantains as starters. Any of the arepas are amazing!

Lunch menu ($55) I recommend the soup as a starter and I had the bento box which changes daily and was a delight, we leave full. The room is noisy at lunchtime, the service is fast.

The atmosphere was nice. Had to walk up two levels of stairs, but was greeted by hostess. Asked to sit at bar as I was solo. The environment was loud, with people laughing and talking and with the overhead music. I was watching media on my iPhone which was hard to hear because of all the noise. When some blonde lady tapped me on my shoulder and rudely said we can hear your phone. The bar was packed with a couple on both sides of me didn’t seem to mind. The Bartenders didn’t seem to mind or I’m sure they would have politely asked me to lower or turn my phone off. Ordered the Baseball steak with garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Potatoes good. Vegetables could have been more. The steak says it’s cooked medium rare or less. Ordered medium rare it came more medium. Didn’t resemble a baseball steak at all.
