"We are regular customers at this restaurant, but our latest visit was very disappointing due to the service we received. Our server, Kegan, was noticeably rude. He walked away in the middle of taking our order and consistently ignored our table, while engaging extensively with other guests. We felt disrespected and the treatment was very unfair and discriminatory.
**Terrible Experience – Do Not Recommend!** I had a really disappointing experience at Musa Restaurant. First off, the *rise* (rice) was incredibly oily, which made it hard to even eat. The *boolani* tasted like it was from the day before—dry and stale. To top it off, they completely *missed my kebab* order, which was super frustrating. I tried calling multiple times to resolve the issue, but *nobody picked up the phone*. Honestly, it feels like they’re just scamming people. Definitely will not be coming back!
4 stars only because they are planning to taken away the spiked frap. This is the most incredibly delicious version of an espresso martini. Not to mention it’s made for summer time and warm weather! It’s a staple and all of my friends love it. We’re very upset it’s leaving and hope they’ll re consider keeping it on menu.
Great food and service
Absolutely loved this pizza! 🍕🔥 The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, with that delicious wood-fired flavor. The toppings were generous and fresh, and the cheese was melted just right. Every bite was balanced and full of flavor. The place itself is clean and welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the service was quick. Plus, the music created a great vibe without being too loud. Definitely coming back!
Good service
We planned a family dinner at Dockside in lieu of our sons upcoming wedding. This would be our first visit to Dockside and based primarily on the fact that there is a lovely patio that frequently passed . We reserved a patio well in advance. Gamily would be coming a long way and with a small baby, outside would be ideal. At 2 pm on the day, staff phoned to inform us that the patio would be closed due to the rain. It was too late and complicated to alter 6 people’s schedules. The huge room where we sat was hot, stuffy & noisy. No air conditioning. When asking about turning on the fan, they said " door was open. " Food was disappointing & unimaginative with limited menu items for non meat eaters. Macaroni & cheese! Mussels were skimpy & small portions of halibut decorated with a few peas & potato pops, left all of us leaving hungry. The place was packed. Baby and I, overwhelmed by the noise, spent half the time outside on the now dry patio. Service was mediocre. We repeatedly needed to request water refills although I watched a waiter at an adjacent table actually pour water for guests! Certainly not conducive to the experience we anticipated and at a hefty price. We're always willing to pay for atmosphere, sumptious food and a relaxing meal. While we understand challenges restaurants have faced, this is over the top. Particularly on such a special occasion. Rain does happen & many patios remain open. We returned home to eat some food.
-the reception on the 1st floor was extremely rude, she talked to patrons as if they were bothering her -the waiters are really rude as well -we can only get a booking at 2:00 p.m. and we have to wait until 2:10 p.m. to get seated -we were then told that all orders must be entered by 2:30 p.m. as the kitchen will close -we rushed to put in or order, but then have to wait for 10 minutes to have the first dish arrive -since then, the waiters kept coming back and asked if we need anything else, not as a 2-minute check, but to rush us -then all of a sudden, sharp at 2:30 p.m. when we were still eating, they came with the bill -there were still two dishes that haven't arrived -they then asked us rudely, "You can wait for them but you have to pay now." -we were so surprised by them rushing us like that and that they asked us to pay for the food that hasn't arrived yet -so we cancelled the remaining two dishes and asked them to re-issue the bill. they don't look pleased -the food quality was ok, nothing spectacular for that price -but because of the service, we will never come again
.... that make you wonder 'is there anything here that I could eat?'. Full of raw or seared meat and fish. And a wine list (on a tablet) containing far too many wines - personally I prefer shorter, well thought out lists. In this case they list a number of wines from a favourite of mine (Château Musar) at spectacular mark ups. I would have more respect for a list restricted to the excellent 2009 - £54.99 BC Liquor Stores. The restaurant itself is very loud - poor acoustics - the service slow - but relatively efficient (one error in our drinks order - the Moscow Mule arrived as a Mojito) - the clientèle varied - neighbouring tables included two men wearing reversed baseball caps, a table of cell phone wielding ladies and well dressed seniors. BUT ...... I found dishes which were excellent - duck comfit salad followed by seared Halibut and my companions clearly enjoyed their lobster pasta and rack of lamb. The wines by the glass were first class - if pricey - the service was attentive (nothing was forgotten although it took its time to come) and the over all experience better than the sum of the parts. Expensive for what you get but fine for a special occasion with noisy friends. Not a romantic destination! They have a 5pm - 7pm food and drink 'Happy Hour' in the bar / lounge - may be worth a recce.
Not only a surprising location for a great restaurant, but an unusual sharing style of their tasting menu. Really unusual dishes served and announced at the table made for a great culinary treat. Really enjoyed the variety and challenging ways in which many of the dishes were creatively put together. I think this place will become a trend setter. Great food. Thank you
Back again for another group dinner with six people. The food here is really good and our table enjoyed many dishes. The service is excellent. The only thing about this restaurant is that is is noisy with all the conversations around you so it can be difficult to her your own talking.
I love the good old Stephos and my love will stay the same. Friends took me couple of times for hangouts/dinner and my another friend A and I used to go here after class. I went here with A around 12 ish (last Saturday) and thank God, there was no line up there. I remember back in 2010 or 2011 I was one of many people in line waiting to dine here during dinners. I think the lineup might be busy even the dinner time nowadays. Stephos haven't changed while last time (few years back) we had to wait long for food. My buddy A and I ordered Roast Lamb ($17.95) it was tender that meat fell off the bones. So yummy! Roast Lamb sure is the best thing off the menu. I love my food with dipping sauce, so I ordered Tzaziki ($1) on the side it was good. Pita bread was good as well. It was hard to find server when we decided to order; however, our server was friendly and helpful. If you're unsure of what else to order Youvetsi, Kalamari and Souvlaki on the menu are all good. I never tried anything beside the two and Chicken Souvlaki, my only gripe is the lamb seems to look smaller than before. Otherwise everything was just perfect.

Yesterday, I visited Pokerrito with my friends for the first time. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing because of the service. We weren’t familiar with how to order, so we were trying to figure things out. However, one of the staff members (her name started with L) had a very harsh and unwelcoming attitude from the beginning. It felt almost intimidating, which made us very uncomfortable. Btw we were the only customers at that moment. I really wanted us to have a good time together, but the atmosphere made it difficult to enjoy the experience. The food itself was good, but because of the service, I don’t think I will come back.

Great location and although we went when dark, the view was lovely over the harbour. Very busy, we’d booked ahead and were seated promptly. Quite noisy and dark (we’d to use the table candle to see the menu!). Excellent food and great service.
