Elegant dining with lovely service, though portions could be more generous. The River Restaurant by Gordon Ramsay offers a lovely dining experience in a beautifully designed space, no expense spared on the interiors. For the best spot, I recommend requesting a table at the back left of the dining room; it has views outside, albeit slightly limited. The food is delicious across the board. Cocktails are expertly made, and the fish and chips were very good. The Dover sole meunière was a standout, perfectly cooked and full of flavour. That said, portion sizes, especially for starters, felt a bit tight for the price point. The smoked salmon arrived with just three slices, and the scallop dish came with only two. For a restaurant at this level, you'd expect a little more generosity. Service was a real highlight: front-of-house staff were superb, warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. The overall layout of the dining room strikes a great balance between comfort and elegance. However, one minor inconvenience: the toilets are quite a walk away, requiring you to leave the restaurant and pass through the afternoon tea area. All in all, a refined and enjoyable meal, though a slightly larger starter wouldn’t go amiss
Great food Great waitress Very miserable, unprofessional and unpleasant reception lady Zero atmosphere Good for a quick lunch, not for a pleasant evening
I visited Zima restaurant on Saturday night. While the food was alright, unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. Throughout our dining experience, the hostess spoke to us in a rather unfriendly and dismissive manner, and the waitresses didn’t seem very welcoming either. Additionally, the cocktails at the karaoke bar were disappointing, and the karaoke staff did not appear attentive to guests’ comfort or safety, allowing overly intoxicated guests to invade others’ personal space. Overall, the atmosphere made the visit less enjoyable than expected. .
A good atmosphere and service, restaurant looks impeccable, servers are very polite and knowledgeable about food, I had an special invitation from my girlfriend to enjoy my birthday and I must confess I had a ball definitely I’ll be back soon to enjoy another glass of champagne in your premises and of course your delicious food thank you for make my birthday unforgettable.
A great evening, in a stunning location. Food, service was excellent, and we tried the Scratch. menu and would highly recommend
A lovely atmosphere, the service on this occasion was quite slow, but they were very busy
A group of five visited late afternoon for a special occasion celebration. We were seated rather cramped in a cold draughty area from the entrance door opening/closing. I approached a staff member who offered an alternative table at the back of the restaurant which had no atmosphere so decided to stay where we were. Service was quite slow. Drinks - no archers or southern comfort available. Starter - A bruschetta was ordered and burrata was delivered. This was replaced. My main pasta dish was served in a several chipped terracotta bowl! I reported to staff this is a health hazard and spoke to a manager - Jacopo who was very understanding, professional and resolved the situation. Desserts are overwhelming. The waitress from Brazil was friendly and attentive.
Absolutely fantastic food and excellent service every time. Extremely good value for money considering the quality of food that you're getting. They've really elevated a British roast. The only area of improvement is the desserts, which have never wowed me as much as the mains/roasts. but all in all, this place is 10/10. I also like the level of attention they've paid to their dry bar - I've dined at places like Hakkasan where the mocktails can be hit or miss, but this place has really honed non-alcoholic flavours.
Always enjoy my visits to Scott’s. Food is always brilliant. My first time sat at the bar, and have to say the service - though always good - is much better at the bar. Nuts, olives and pork scratchings alongside bread complimentary. Bread lovely and warm. As many as you like. I tend to go for the fish of the day. Lemon sole - crab sauce. Lovely! For the location (heart of Mayfair), it is very reasonably priced. When sat in other locations in the restaurant, be prepared to sometimes feel ‘left behind’.
(Veggie review) Not the cheapest but the best Italian we've had in the area for a pre-theatre meal. A proper family run restaurant - white tablecloths, friendly staff, and also quick service. (Probably not a place to go if you want to linger all evening.) We had delicious Insalata Tricolore to share for a starter. Then spaghetti with aubergine, and gnocchi with courgette, olive, onion (one of several options not online). Both were really tasty and substantial servings. Cost with 10% service and one drink £58. We would definitely go back.
- classic Mediterranean menu options - fast service - lively atmosphere - borek and moussaka very good - we did not need to book
10/10. Attentive service, great food and a lovely atmosphere

One of the best Russian cuisine restaurants in London. Definitely worth to try some traditional dishes. Lots of options, quite authentic and atmospheric. You'll never get wrong with 'pelmeni' (dumplings) and 'nastoika' (home made liquor). Quite expensive though, but still a fine deal for location + overall experience

I booked for a business lunch based on a recommendation from a colleague, I cant fault the atmosphere or service which was efficient and friendly, however, when it came to the food, I was extremely disappointed. I ordered the 'Some like it hot' pizza, expecting the warmth of chilli and the smoky spicy richness of njuda with the kick it promised, what an utter let down, the pizza was bland, no heat whatsoever and total lack of flavour, do the chefs not test their food to make sure it lives up to the description? I have had better tasting pizza from a hole in the wall vendor. Such a shame given the price and reputation of this restaurant.

This is a centrally located restaurant which we chose for our birthday celebrations. The restaurant had a good atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff. The food was tasty and arrived in good time considering it was a busy Saturday night. We had a positive experience at this restaurant and would recommend.
