45 minute wait for appetizers, plus another 30 minutes for the roast to arrive. The waiter dropped our lemon wedge from the appetizer and said he'd be back with a new one and we never saw him again... Gordon would never stand for this. To be fair, the Sunday roast was decent and the sticky toffee pudding and tiramisu was very delicious. It saved the experience.

Amazing and delicious food! Fish and chips , butter chicken , butter squash soup and of course sticky toffee for desert! We got right in no reservations but the wait staff were not my favorite ! I attempt to go to Any Ramsey place I can in every place I visit ! And again the food amazing no surprise and completely satisfied.

Finally got around to posting the review of Restaurant Gorden Ramsey his three Michelin starred signature restaurant in London which was a very special treat for my 50th.  To set the scene we opted for the 7 course taster menu called the prestige and matching wine accompaniment.  The good stuff Firstly the food was outstanding. The flavours the chef managed to pack into the crystal clear consume was amazing. Layers of flavours coming in waves telling the story of what ingredients were used in its creation. Truly the finest consume I have ever tasted.  There were a couple of other things that neither of us thought went together in our opinion but food and taste is very personal and the rest was fantastic.   The lows: The cheese trolley was a real disappointment to be honest. It was stacked full of various cheeses from local to French and the waitress responsible for this gave her suggestions on what we should try. Firstly I should say that the portions of cheese were tiny and neither of us liked two of the cheeses but we weren't offered any replacements despite these two being the cheeses that she suggested.  The biggest let down was the service. We were one of the first tables to arrive, three tables arrived together, to start with they were so attentive you felt like you couldn't have a conversation as they were on top of you all of the time. It got so bad at one point,  I picked up a pallet cleaners off the plate and just before I could put it back down a waitress tried to take the plate away!  The last service disappointment was as the evening went on the service got slower and slower which is to be expected and not a problem at all. But we paid a lot of money for the accompanying wine matched to the food for each course. The wine servings were so small that we ran out 3 times between courses!  We were only offered a top up to make up for the delay in service on the final desert wine as we had finished this before the long awaited desert arrived, but we went short for the main and fish dishes having to finish these course with only water.  All in all a great experience and fantastic food but at this level there are too many others we want to try so we wouldn't rush back.

Not sure if it was an off day considering other good reviews but was really disappointed. First time I've been and wanted to eat near Union Chapel before a gig. Waited 45 mins for our meal after asking twice where it was. When it came (with no apology) the pork souvlaki was almost inedible. Meat was gristly and chewy and in a dry pitta. The moussaka was even dry. Left most of the meal which never happens as I'm proper greedy. Best thing were the olives and an ice cold beer but can't really go wrong with those. Won't be returning considering all the great med/Turkish options on Upper St.

place is beautiful, so don't be surprised, it takes way too long and the food is cold, just not good food. It wasn't Turkish food, better said something that was put together along the way!

A Breath of Fresh Air at 36 Floors High Situated on the 36th floor of Sky Garden, Darwin Brasserie offers a unique experience that rises above the bustle of London. Here is what we loved about our visit: 1. Seamless Access While there was a significant queue for the free viewing platform, our reservation acted as a "fast track." We didn’t need to wait; our queue was considerably shorter, and the reservation gracefully granted us access to the 35th-floor viewing platform as well. 2. The Culinary Experience The food was decent and, while a bit pricey, it sits comfortably within the expected London range. • The Mains: I experimented with the Salmon Fish Cake, which was truly excellent. My husband had the Steak, which was reasonably good and very filling. • The Sweet Note: The Coffee Cheesecake was amazing! • A Recommendation: I would definitely suggest their Signature Cocktail—it arrives in a whimsical monkey cup with a banana on top! 3. The Heart of the Visit: Exceptional Service The best part of our experience was being served by Feliciana. She was a total delight—sweet, polite, and someone who helped us navigate the menu with ease. Her recommendations were perfect, and a conversation with her felt like a genuine breath of fresh air.

A fantastic meal this evening, the very best grill I've had in a very long time. In particular the lamb was sensational!

So I was suggested the Masala Dosa which didn’t disappoint in terms of flavour. It was actually quite delicious. Loved it 👌very nice The Masala dosa is a famous south indian rice crepe stuffed with spiced potato - served with 2 chutneys (coriander and coconut) and sambar (lentil curry) I ordered a masala dosa and they served to me in a takeaway bag which I didn’t request. Not that it bothered me much to be honest but for others maybe? I told the server that I shall seat myself outside to eat, had I actually asked for a takeaway I doubt they would have gave the mango lassi in a glass. Haha Waited 30minutes for the dosa ⏰ the mango lassi came to me within five minutes after ordering. 👍 The dosa was not that hot, it was as if it was sitting in that box for a while before it came to me which was a shame I feel like if I had eaten it absolutely freshly cooked without it sitting around before it being served to me I would have not bothered at all that I waited 30minutes for it because the flavours were actually exceptional. Pros: The taste of the masala dosa is great as well as the dips that are accompanied on the side. Cons: Waiting time, Confusion on how the order was handled. The total bill £17.50 for Masala Dosa and Mango Lassi. I would come again and suggest this place.

Din Tai Fung is one of the few places in London where you can go in with confidence and know exactly what you’re getting — solid, consistent quality. The Xiao Long Bao are well executed — thin skin, good amount of broth, and clean flavour. Not the absolute best you’ll ever have, but definitely satisfying for London. The shrimp fried rice is simple but done properly — light, fragrant, and not greasy. The hot and sour soup was a pleasant surprise. Well balanced, with enough depth and acidity, and not overly thick or watered down. Other dishes like the wontons and noodles are slightly adapted to local taste, but still hold up reasonably well. The space is modern and comfortable, with an open kitchen where you can see the dumplings being made. Service is efficient and well organised. Overall: Not the most authentic, but very reliable. A good option if you’re craving familiar flavours without taking risks.

Went with 3 friends and when we walked in no one was there to greet us which was fine because the restaurant seemed busy. 4 older men walked in after us and as the lady came to greet us they started complaining very rudely how they were waiting there for ages (not true) and were absolutely horrible to this lady. Everyone inside the restaurant was shocked at how these men were talking to her and even some of them apologized that she had to be treated like that. After all, the manager (i assume) came to us and i asked for a table for 4 and she, very rudely said "You will have to wait, but you need to wait outside because I cant have you here in the middle of the way". He went outside to wait and watched as the men that came after us were allowed to wait inside and after a few minutes they were directed to a table. We went inside to tell them that we were there first and none of us had a reservation (we heard these men say). This lady, an older lady with short hair said to us "well you were outside so i sat them first". She kept arguing with us, zero professionalism. When I was explaining to her the whole situation she said "Do you want to keep talking or do you want to sit down?". She was completely horrible to us, the only reason i sat down was because it was my friends birthday trip otherwise i would've turned around and left. When she sat us down she was saying somethings in Italian under her breathe. Everyone around us that was also waiting for a table was baffled at her lack of professionalism and how she couldn't handle a situation she completely lost control of. She let those men inside after they were horrible to her staff, sent us outside to wait and let them stay because she knew she couldn't tell them/speak to them how she spoke to me and my friends. The whole situation was disgusting. Food was mid also so I am never coming back or recommend this place to anyone.
