A Massive Decline in Quality – Chaotic, Freezing, and Disappointing I visited Hyderabadi Kitchen on a busy Saturday night in mid-February, and the entire experience was nothing short of chaotic. I actually visited this restaurant when they first opened, and back then, the ambiance, service, and food were top-notch. Unfortunately, it feels like they are taking their customers for granted now. Here is a breakdown of why this visit was so frustrating: • Freezing and Noisy Atmosphere: We were seated near the main door, which wouldn’t have been a problem if there was actually a heater to warm the place up. To make matters worse, the door must have slammed open and shut at least 100 times during our meal. Between delivery drivers rushing in and out, the constant, loud slamming noise completely ruined our appetite. • Hygiene and Layout Issues: Shockingly, kitchen staff were carrying kitchen waste and garbage right through the main restaurant passage while we were trying to eat. This is a massive issue and incredibly off-putting. • Severely Understaffed: For a busy Saturday night, there was only one server handling the floor, which heavily contributed to the chaotic environment. • Subpar Food: We ordered Biryani, Dabeli, and Chicken Fried Rice, and the quality was very poor. The Chicken Fried Rice was so overwhelmingly spicy that I couldn’t even finish half of it. • The "Bottled Water Trap": Because the food was intolerably spicy, we naturally asked for some tap water. The server told us they only serve bottled water and refused tap water. Considering they are serving excessively spicy dishes, forcing customers to pay for bottled water feels like an absolute trap. It is a real shame to see a place that started with such high standards fall this far. The service is now subpar, the dining environment is uncomfortable, and the food has lost its touch. I won't be returning anytime soon.
Food is amazing! A bit loud due to the open seating, and service was a bit slow even for a busy Saturday. But the food quality and preparation was superb and justifies 5 stars overall.
Food is good. Breakfast excels. Surfaces are grimey. Drinking glasses are dirty. I complained about it and the solution was to poor the drink from a dirty glass into a clean one. The music doesn’t set the atmosphere it could be. Hotel rooms are clean but this isn’t he hotel not was 2 years ago.
A really unique bar/restaurant with a great atmosphere. Two levels in the converted church and then an added glasshouse added at the front (which we sat in). Given how busy it was it was actually quite quiet which was great. Music and Irish dancing every day. The lamb stew was nice but the chicken not so great, that and the mash was a bit dry. Worth a visit. Drinks are a bit pricey but nice to be in a place with live music. Worth a visit.
Absolutely STELLAR! Astonishingly excellent from top to bottom. The musical playlist is reason enough to spend time here. Come see for yourself.
Absolutely brilliant karaoke bar in Dublin! From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and on the ball, making sure everyone was having a great time. The vibes were unreal — buzzing energy, great sound, and a crowd that really gets into it. Whether you’re a confident singer or just there for the craic, this place makes you feel comfortable and hyped. Perfect spot for a night out with friends — can’t wait to come back! 🎤🍻
A booking made in June for a special birthday. From the outset, we were met with a cold welcome and lack of courtesy. No check either on our covid certificates. Seated at our 2 tables , the waitress recommended the red and white wines that we ordered and champagne that never arrived. She advised against ordering too many pasta dishes as there were 13 of us and the kitchen wouldn’t manage. She also detailed fish and specials that many of us ordered. Service was slow and one table ended up eating their mains as another table finished theirs. Side dishes also recommended by the waitress were in short supply. At one point, the waitress approached to say there were complaints about noise and that we weren’t spending enough. Wow! We were seated at 2 separate tables and it was no louder than any restaurant on a Saturday night. I went downstairs to query this and the waitress opened the register and pulled out receipts belonging to other customers detailing their spend. Wow! When did restaurants start doing this ? As a group, we decided our stay was no longer tenable and our plan for champagne, cocktails, desserts and cake were abandoned. Reader, we left and paid our bill of just under €1200. On leaving, another table approached us to say that they had not noticed any noise from our group and they themselves would not be returning to the restaurant. As a group of senior professionals, business owners and people who have travelled, we have never experienced anything quite like it .
A cute little restaurant delivering great food and service. We enjoyed the beautifully prepared dishes that were perfectly prepared, well balanced and beautifully presented. Service was attentive, professional and friendly. My only comment would be to look into some noise dampening measures as it became very loud at times.
A good pub for a meal and slightly cheaper than the Temple Bar area. Just lacked the live music that was listed outside which was disappointing. Food was great.
31 Lennox was the perfect start to our morning! From the moment we entered the restaurant, my wife and I had a great experience. We were greeted by the host and seated immediately. The restaurant was clean. The music was good and food & coffee were great. The host was very friendly and shared great conversation. After breakfast, he asked us what we had planned for the rest of the day and gave us travel advice on the best way to get to the nearby county. We’re so happy we went there for breakfast and we’ll definitely go back.
5 stars for The Mulberry Garden Restaurant in Donnybrook following our meal last night. Unreal service, the food was amazing, the garden beautiful for drinks with heaters and throws and fab French music. The staff know their food and their wines to a tee, rare these days. Social distancing not a bother. Blown away by this restaurant ... the questions remains why hadn't I been previously. I shall be back. Tracy
A classy yet affordable place for a quiet evening, with amazing food and fresh fish. We loved the home made bread! Great for a couple date.

Great food, great vibe downstairs! Only downside was some very loud girls next to us (not at all the restaurants fault). Our waiter was great (Kris)

Dima and Kris was our waiter tonight and we had an extraordinary evening, the service was spectacular, with great attentiveness (without it being too much) and the atomosphere was relaxed with quiet background music, the meal was one of the best I’ve had in a long time too! Definitely recommend, coming here again soon!

Sorry to say our visit was very disappointing. We were there for the pre-theatre dinner. The place was extremely busy, noise level very high. We were brought down stairs, to the basement . Beside us there was a table for 8 people, there was no one there when we were seated. Staff were very stressed, as so busy. When the 8 people arrived it turned out to be 10. They were sitting on top of us , no one even noticed, so uncomfortable, definitely not romantic. The food was only ok. We were so sorry we had not gone to another restaurant . We refrained from making a complaint as I did not think there was any point. The restaurant was so busy I did not feel it would make any difference.

I came in with a friend for the first time on Monday and I know I’ll 100% be back again. The food, service, ambience and overall vibe was IMMACULATE. It was cosy and quiet with no overly loud music or crowd. Our waiter was Santosh and he was SOOO welcoming and sweet. He was very well informed on the menu and very helpful, he checked on us a few times (everything was perfect) and you could really tell he cared about making our visit a memorable experience. Definitely the best service I’ve received in ages. As for food my friend and I shared the smoked chicken tikka as a starter I’ll rate it a 10/10 just to save words because it was SOOO good. For mains I got the royal chicken pasanda (convinced by Santosh) and no joke this was the best food I’ve had in forever I wanted to cry happy tears. My friend had the lamb shank nihari and according to him it was just as good as what I had. My biggest compliments to the kitchen! The overall experience was so worth it and the portion sizes are good value for money with great prices. I can’t wait to visit again and I’ll definitely recommend Holi to friends too :)
