I strongly recommend staying away from this venue. My experiences with the staff at Sugar and Tea Room were extremely disappointing, and it seems clear that something in their management or operations has changed. This may explain why fewer classy, self-respecting patrons appear to be attending compared to the past. I used to visit these venues frequently, but on one occasion I was abruptly escorted out without any explanation. I later heard from others that if you are not continuously purchasing drinks, staff may single you out and ask you to leave. I am not a heavy drinker, but had I been treated with basic respect, I would have gladly spent full evenings there enjoying dinner and supporting the business. On previous visits, security staff would oddly sit next to me and ask if I was “okay,” as if there were an issue when there clearly wasn’t. On another occasion, I was simply told to leave with no explanation whatsoever. I am a well-dressed, respectful, and well-groomed individual, and the only apparent reason for this treatment seemed to be that I was not repeatedly purchasing overpriced drinks or reserving a table. Look out for a short mini version of Jackie Chan looking staff who goes around taking notes and passing the message to security. Staff constantly patrol and watch guests throughout the venue, which creates an uncomfortable atmosphere and discourages patrons from ordering at their own pace. Instead of feeling relaxed and welcomed, I felt pressured and unwelcome. Additionally, having previously worked closely with city code compliance, I noticed that the hallway connecting Sugar and Tea Room appears far too narrow during their over-capacity weekend nights. In the event of an emergency, this could potentially present a serious fire hazard. I am unsure whether the city or fire department is aware of this issue. I am a reasonable and respectful person, and I would not have posted this review had management simply provided an explanation or apology after I reached out privately. I did receive an initial response saying they would follow up, but no further communication ever came. Brickell now offers many better options, and I have been treated far more professionally at other venues. Until I receive a sincere apology and a genuine welcome back, I see no reason to remove this review or return.
"Argentinian night" Topic The event was promoted to start at 9... I arrived at 9 only to find the most american techno remixes of pop USA 70s-80s-90s music for 2 HOURs until 11 pm. When I arrived i was told that actually the Argentinian music will start at 10:30, which it didnt) After staying for 1.5 hr long listening to the exact same beat in every song (remixes with the exact same beat in every, every single song) and seeing the argentinian vibe wouldn't start i went on a walk with my wife, I came back 11 pm when the first 2 argentinian song started (la mosca y soda)... guess what? After those 2 song, they played remixes with cumbia remix beat of song of all kind, some old ones that were worth it a bit like Makano - te amo (makano es de panama) and other artists/songs none argentinians including reggeatoneros I left 11:40 pm having listened 2-3 argentinian songs, the environment was those $9 flags hanging by the ceiling and just FYI.... +40/50 recommended. Because the 8-10 people that arrived close to 12 am could've being my grandma's (i am 36 with my wife been 28.... bealive me when I say we were the youngest one for a lot) So.... for food no idea, but for the "Argentinian event" I would add the description: +40/50 Arrive at least 2-2.5 hr later than the starting time of the event. Music: expect the Spotify Playlist that your uncle made from the Boliches in the 90s.... just remove all the cumbias argentinas-quarteto and leave the clasic song like Makano one that are around Latin America and we used to listen back then Argentinian vibe: 2 out of 100 (just for the susana and holmedo faces on the bathrooms door) Un bajon 👎
100/10 for vibes, great wine and great ambience. Hard to get a table on weekends but if you come early should be easier. I will say I did feel slightly weird vibes from the lady at the counter because she would only give me one glass with the wine I purchased saying it was their rule but when I went back to my table to meet my friend who got wine outside they gave her 4 glasses. What’s that about?…stay consistent if not you’re going to make someone feel discriminated against. Don’t be picky and choosy (I understand it’s alcohol but then make it policy everyone follows)
Great atmosphere
"By far one of the best taco spots around. fresh flavorful and super friendly staff with a great vibe, very highly recommended, with very reasonable Prices"🥳🤤⭐🌟⭐🌟⭐🌟⭐🌟⭐🌟 "By far one of the best taco spots and more. 10/10 recommend. I would fly to back in a heartbeat just to eat here and enjoy the friendly service again. After having terrible experiences at two other restaurants we found Mike's and met the most amazing person (Aly) in the whole land. Not only was the service impeccable but the food was some of the best I had on my entire vacation. Huge portions and normal priced menu. Great atmosphere with NICE people!
DO NOT RECOMMEND-BEWARE! First red flag, if you look at a menu and there are only BOTTLE prices and NO drink prices...RUN.....My husband and I made reservations for Friday night and woke up on Saturday morning still in SHOCK! Service and food were fine. We ordered 2 appetizers, 1 fish to share and corn and Brussel sprouts. We each had 3 drinks just to relax and make the night last. We noticed the ambiance was not the same as the first time we went. Inside was empty and plenty of seating outside but full of families and kids. When you make reservations, it clearly says no kids after 9pm, which was a LIE and no shorts or open toe/sandals and there was a gentlemen right next to us in SHORTS and open toe SANDALS. By 10pm it was emptying out, no vibe what's so ever. Then the bill came. $35 for Woodford Reserve Old Fashion and $38 Grey Goose Martini EACH. Now my husband and I go out regularly to TOP restaurants and have NEVER paid this let alone in a small restaurant next to Duffy's in a shopping center. Total bill was $524. I put the exact numbers since you will never see them on the menu. NOW we know why it has changed so much. We don't mind spending on high quality dinners with the right food and ambience but this was HIGHWAY ROBBERY. We will NEVER go there again nor will we EVER recommend. Many and MUCH better places to spend that kind of money.
Dining in a shipping container might be interesting and unique for some, but I certainly wouldn't call it a "great atmosphere". Every time the door of our 'container' closed, it made such a boisterous sound, I kept thinking something in the room crashed to the floor. The food, for sure, was very good. Upon entering and meeting two of my friends at the bar for a drink, - I sat at the bar and was completely ignored by the bartender. The bar wasn't that crowded, - this guy for whatever reason never acknowledge my presence; - not very welcoming. So I didn't order a drink, - and we went to our table. The table-side service was "okay". After being seated, ten minutes into our meal a hostess came by and asked if we had a reservation, - which we did. Again, this was a bit disruptive and unusual. You need all "three" to excel in my opinion (service, ambience and 'product' (food), - so one out of three isn't a total bust. I won't be returning.
For those of you who's visiting for the first time (as I did), a heads-up: this place looks rather inconspicuous and primitive on the street level (you'll see a small shop with a couple of tables outside on the street and a small bar - HOWEVER, proceed to the second floor on the elevator - and you'll see a spacious lounge with plenty of cozy leather armchairs, an impressive walk-in humidor and a bar stocked up nicely with all sorts of quality spirits. The hostesses were very nice, attentive but not intrusive, and knowledgeable about the subject matter. One thing this place is missing is the proper ambiance - yes, it's spacious, with good ventilation, no space crowding and a nice view from the window on the street below; however, it doesn't have the subtle style and class of my favorite cigar clubs/lounges (say, Carnegie Club in New York). Still, a nice cave to retreat to if you want to enjoy your cigar in peace.
A bar with a lot of history and nice atmosphere, I recommend it for those who stay in the area. They have a varied menu of many beers and cocktails. I was surprised by the good food, although they were some to share but very rich. It also has a rock where you can choose the music
A little diamond tucked off to the side. Food is fantastic, probably the best burger I've had in Miami. They serve local beers. They have a wide variety of beers, and winds. Total neighborhood feel, very intimate, casual, comfortable setting. A little hard to spot. Has off the street parking.
A true oasis in the city of Miami. This is a great place - excellent staff, fantastic selection of cigars and whiskey and the most relaxing atmosphere around to conduct business or hang out. A true gem of South Florida.

It’s a cute location but the vibe wasn’t my favorite if you’re seeking cozy chill cowork spots (lots of loud bros yelling on calls, smoking Huka etc 🤪) … also omg $58 for two teas absolutely wild. Vice city in coconut grove is such a better bang for your buck.

Had such an incredible experience at Sexy Fish, and a huge part of that was thanks to Rafik. From the moment we sat down, he made everything feel effortless, elevated, and genuinely fun. His attention to detail, timing, and energy were just perfect; super attentive without ever being overbearing. Rafik really knows how to create a vibe. Every recommendation he gave was spot on, and you can tell he truly cares about making your night special. It’s rare to find service that feels both luxurious and personal at the same time, but he nailed it. If you’re going to Sexy Fish, ask for Rafik you’ll thank me later ✨

On arrival, told 25-30 mins for a table, and to wait at bar. Took 45 mins to actually be seated. At bar, told kids bottomless drinks would transfered over to table, so we ordered then but, on being seated, told this was not correct and we'd need to pay for a new order of bottomless drinks for each kid as now 'in the restaurant'. This was thankfully rectified (by I assume management). Our server began polite enough but this mess-up with the drinks then set a bad tone. He had no interest in being polite after this and treated us like we were an inconvenience from then. Food was nice enough but the biggest issue was our daughters order of Fajitas. They were delivered on the skillet without tortillas or any accompaniments. The air-con mafe it feel like we were in the antarctic and by the time the majority of the table had finished eating, her food was cold. We did ask our server for these items twice and even asked the concierge girl (who told us "I can't help. Ask your server", then proceeded to shake her head at us). Thankfully, a lovely gentleman (presumably the manager) asked of he could help and brought the tortillas, he then followed up with the accompaniments when he realised we'd not been given any of it. (All the while, our actual server avoided us like the plague). The icing on the cake was when he eventually did come over to clear the table and proceeded to spill a full cup of ranch all over the floor (thankfully missing my brothers trainers). It was basically the worst restaurant experience we've had (and we eat out a lot). So, I feel sorry for the gentleman whom I believed to be the manager - he seemed to be doing his best but, I don't have high hopes for this location doing well with the rude and dismissive staff. (Note: We've visited this location every time we've come to Orlando from the UK and sadly I think tonight will be our last)

Wonderful atmosphere and even better service! I had a great meal—the steak was cooked to a perfect medium and paired well with the mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. I also appreciated the well-poured Glenlivet to start the evening. A special mention for the bartender, Gabriella! She was incredibly friendly and engaging, making the whole experience feel personal. Excellent food and top-tier hospitality—I'll definitely be back!
