"Argentinian night" Topic The event was promoted to start at 9... I arrived at 9 only to find the most american techno remixes of pop USA 70s-80s-90s music for 2 HOURs until 11 pm. When I arrived i was told that actually the Argentinian music will start at 10:30, which it didnt) After staying for 1.5 hr long listening to the exact same beat in every song (remixes with the exact same beat in every, every single song) and seeing the argentinian vibe wouldn't start i went on a walk with my wife, I came back 11 pm when the first 2 argentinian song started (la mosca y soda)... guess what? After those 2 song, they played remixes with cumbia remix beat of song of all kind, some old ones that were worth it a bit like Makano - te amo (makano es de panama) and other artists/songs none argentinians including reggeatoneros I left 11:40 pm having listened 2-3 argentinian songs, the environment was those $9 flags hanging by the ceiling and just FYI.... +40/50 recommended. Because the 8-10 people that arrived close to 12 am could've being my grandma's (i am 36 with my wife been 28.... bealive me when I say we were the youngest one for a lot) So.... for food no idea, but for the "Argentinian event" I would add the description: +40/50 Arrive at least 2-2.5 hr later than the starting time of the event. Music: expect the Spotify Playlist that your uncle made from the Boliches in the 90s.... just remove all the cumbias argentinas-quarteto and leave the clasic song like Makano one that are around Latin America and we used to listen back then Argentinian vibe: 2 out of 100 (just for the susana and holmedo faces on the bathrooms door) Un bajon đ
*** Another addition to my first reviews, this time to thank Jacob for accommodating us before the Sunday/Monday sommelier selection was officially launched. LPM is perhaps one of the most consistent restaurants in Miami, delivering excellence and professionalism. It is always a pleasure to return. Previous reviews: First, I want to start by giving a shoutout to the manager on duty on 6/17/23 as well as all the staff working the evening shift (10:00pm +) they were so pleasant and professional, even at that late hour, you all truly make a difference. Now, onto the food, my musts are: escargot, duck confit, the amazing mushroom risotto, the potato gratin, and the dessert of the month. It was a party in my mouth, I loved the freshness of the ingredients and how well balanced the dishes were. Drinks: For the first time in a while I was glad I skipped the wine. One of the featured cocktails, the tomatini was just mind-blowing. Iâm not usually into tomato based drinks, but wow. We also tried other cognac-based beverages and they were just as delicious. Our favorite was Hom(m)ge. It gets a little loud inside, but itâs normal, itâs a busy place. You can request to sit outside. We loved the food and the staff, worth the price.
After a five-hour drive from Jacksonville to Miami, I made the critical error of thinking, âIâll pee later.â Two hours in, I knew I had to go. Forty-five minutes from our destination, I told myself I could hold it. Spoiler: I could not. Add Miami stop-and-go traffic and a seatbelt that felt personally offended by my bladder, and things got dire fast. We finally arrive, canât find the entrance to our Airbnb, and Iâm officially in emergency mode. I start speed-walking down the block, pass a gas station with the classic âbathroom for employees onlyâ sign (rude), and then I hear music. Blues or jazzâhonestly, it sounded like salvation. I dive into this bar, pass a few guys playing pool, breeze past a very polite âhey, welcome,â and make a beeline for the bathroom. Let me tell youâone of the cleanest bar bathrooms Iâve ever seen. Spotless. Automatic lights. Zero regrets. After surviving the ordeal, I felt bad for basically storming the place like a man on a mission, so I sat at the bar and ordered a tequila shot as a thank-you. When I told the bartender I just wanted to close out and pay for using the restroom, he laughed and said the shot was on the house. Clean bathroom. Kind bartender. Great vibes. Live music that slapped. This place unknowingly saved a manâs dignity, and for that alone it deserves five stars. Would I come back intentionally next time? Absolutely. Hopefully under less⌠pressure.
10/10 the most fun bar in miami. the owner is awesome & the service is great. vibes are always good and they have touch tunes so you can play any music you like. definitely dont miss this spot especially if you are a marlins fan!
Absolutely adore this spot. The ambiance, the music, the bartenders! I was traveling to Miami and stopped in here one night and had the time of my life. I know they have great events in there too and wish I could go more! Highly recommend.
âââââ A 1000/10 place to celebrate, love, and enjoy Last night we celebrated a very special moment, AdriĂĄn Torres' 7th anniversary, and we couldn't have chosen a better place than River House Wine and Bar. From the moment we arrived, the experience was impeccable. Ariana, the host, was simply wonderful: warm, attentive, approachable, and incredibly helpful. She got us the best table, accompanied us with a genuine smile, and elevated the night from the first minute. Infinite thanks, Ariana đ¤. The cheese and charcuterie boards were spectacular: a carefully selected, high-quality, perfectly presented, and absolutely delicious assortment. The wines were divine, well-recommended, and on par with the complete experience. The atmosphere is something that truly captivates: ⨠romantic ⨠elegant ⨠cozy ⨠beautifully decorated The music, the service, the food, and every detail create a perfect atmosphere for special celebrations, romantic dates, or simply a night to enjoy life. Without exaggerating: this place is a thousand out of ten. A space where everything flows, everything adds up, and everything feels special. Thank you, River House, for an unforgettable night. American service... impeccable. Quick and efficient. Great atmosphere, clean. Generous. Incredible decor with 1 usd bills hung by the thousands from everywhere as tapestry. I love the concept. We eat well there. It's a little noisy but it's the atmosphere.
Bad food at significantly but really at significantly increased prices. The service was good, the service very friendly. The toilets were very clean. But clearly too fatty food. The lake plate had been completely marinated, the fish or the shrimp were barely recognizable. Charging $32.- for fish and chips is cheeky. The music had been clearly too loud.
Dining in a shipping container might be interesting and unique for some, but I certainly wouldn't call it a "great atmosphere". Every time the door of our 'container' closed, it made such a boisterous sound, I kept thinking something in the room crashed to the floor. The food, for sure, was very good. Upon entering and meeting two of my friends at the bar for a drink, - I sat at the bar and was completely ignored by the bartender. The bar wasn't that crowded, - this guy for whatever reason never acknowledge my presence; - not very welcoming. So I didn't order a drink, - and we went to our table. The table-side service was "okay". After being seated, ten minutes into our meal a hostess came by and asked if we had a reservation, - which we did. Again, this was a bit disruptive and unusual. You need all "three" to excel in my opinion (service, ambience and 'product' (food), - so one out of three isn't a total bust. I won't be returning.
A Little Havana local recommended that we eat breakfast at El Pub Restaurant located at 1548 SW 8th Street in Miami. (Phone number: (305) 642-9942.) Our waitress was friendly, asked whether we spoke Spanish or English, & was happy & surprised when we said both. We ate a typical American breakfast, but with a delicious side of cuban-style bread with butter & cuban-style coffee. It was easy to see their love of Cuba in the artwork, decor & music displayed in this third-generation family-owned restaurant.
A bar with a lot of history and nice atmosphere, I recommend it for those who stay in the area. They have a varied menu of many beers and cocktails. I was surprised by the good food, although they were some to share but very rich. It also has a rock where you can choose the music
A bit outside the usual strip but quite great fun place. Tons of people, good food, lots of super draft beers, great music's, and nice staff. I will be back.

Itâs a cute location but the vibe wasnât my favorite if youâre seeking cozy chill cowork spots (lots of loud bros yelling on calls, smoking Huka etc đ¤Ş) ⌠also omg $58 for two teas absolutely wild. Vice city in coconut grove is such a better bang for your buck.

Came inside for the live music, very talented musicians. I asked why they didn't have a rip jar and he responded, we do it for the love of the music.

Hear this proclamation. Doom does not dispense praise lightly. Flattery is the currency of fools, and Doom traffics only in truth. Yet this establishmentâagainst all reasonable expectationâhas proven itself worthy of commendation. First, the matter of the chicken tenders. Doom has sampled many fried impostors across this lesser world. Most are brittle shells hiding disappointment. These are not. These arrive with imperial precisionâa crust of perfect crispness, armor of gold, concealing tender meat within. Juicy. Seasoned with a confidence that suggests ancestral culinary knowledgeâperhaps the whispered wisdom of some grandmotherly oracle guiding the fryerâs hand. There is no dryness. No mediocrity. Only disciplined excellence. But even Doom must acknowledge the true sovereign of this feast. THE HONEY MUSTARD. What alchemical sorcery resides within this sauce, Doom cannot yet determine. Its balance of sweetness and tang borders on forbidden science. Smooth. Potent. Addictive. One finishes the tenders and immediately surveys the battlefield for further vessels worthy of immersion. Fries? Acceptable. Burger? Perhaps. A finger? Doom passes no judgment on such desperation. The atmosphere itself meets Doomâs expectations for a proper sports tavern: loud with victory and defeat, screens glowing from every angle, mortals gathered in communal ritual as games unfold. Even when the chamber fills with the masses, the staff moves swiftlyâefficient, disciplined. Now⌠the keepers of the bar. Emily and Tristan. Competent. Swift. Remarkably organized. These two operate the bar with the efficiency of Doomâs own command structure. Drinks appear promptly. Orders are remembered. The crowd remains entertained even when chaos threatens during heated games. Observe them long enough and the truth becomes obvious: they are the engines that keep the entire enterprise functioning. And then there is Carlosâthe manager. Doom suspects his primary duty is to patrol the perimeter and ensure Emily and Tristan have not already seized control of the establishment. Should such a coup occur⌠Doom would likely support the bartenders. Thus Doom renders judgment. 10/10. This place pleases Doom.

First time having dinner there... and I have a good feeling we'll be back. Live music, nice wine selection and the food was amazing! Every one of our party was thoroughly impressed with both the product and the service. Highly recommended!
