"To the Management Team at The Capital Grille, As frequent guests of Capital Grille, we have always held your establishments in high regard. However, our recent visit to the Miami location for a party of eight was deeply disappointing and fell far below the standards we expect from your brand. Out of eight entrées, six were served incorrectly. The issues ranged from two fish dinners and multiple side dishes arriving cold, to steaks being served overcooked or raw/purple. The most egregious failure involved my daughter’s filet mignon: after being sent back because it was raw, the manager returned the exact same piece of cut meat to the table without ensuring it was cooked properly. The steak required a third attempt to be cooked to the ordered medium temperature. Furthermore, all side dishes and another steak were served on cold plates. The service was equally lacking. Despite having two bottles of wine at the table, we were forced to refill our own glasses throughout the night. While the manager on duty assured us the situation would be rectified, the execution of the replacement dishes was consistently poor. Given our long-standing history with Capital Grille, this experience was shocking. At this time, we do not have plans to return to the Miami location

**About the Location:** Luke Lobsters is conveniently nestled inside the bustling City Center in Miami, providing easy access with available parking in the garage. The restaurant itself is neat and clean, creating a pleasant atmosphere for dining; however, it tends to be somewhat empty, which can make the experience feel a bit isolated. The staff members are friendly and notably helpful, adding a welcoming and approachable vibe to the place. **About the Food:** The seafood flight offered at Luke Lobsters showcases a variety of meats, including half rolls of lobster, crab, and shrimp. The ingredients are noteworthy: the lobster meat is fresh, sourced directly from Maine, and the crab meat hails from Quebec's Jonah crab. The presentation is appealing, but all the rolls arrived cold, which was unexpected and somewhat disappointing as I anticipated them to be at least lukewarm. The lobster and crab were enjoyable, though the shrimp didn’t quite hit the mark for me. Overall, while the quality of the seafood is commendable, there’s room for improvement in terms of serving temperature and shrimp flavor for a more satisfying experience. A solid 3-star rating reflects the mix of positives and areas for growth.

10 stars. I love this gringos so much, I have been coming here since I moved to Orlando 6 years ago. This location is in a league of its own. I’ve watched this young woman with the reddish hair who has been there since my first visit- become a manager and it’s truly well deserved! I hope she is well taken care of because I believe this is the best gringos because of her ❤️ Thank you to Gringos and the staff that makes this location THE BEST :)

This was hands down one of the most disappointing dining experiences my family and I have ever had. From the moment we walked in, things felt off. The restaurant was barely busy, yet we waited about 10 minutes just to be seated. Once we sat down, it took nearly 10 more minutes for our server, Jameel G., to even acknowledge us. In that time, we’d already picked out our appetizers and entrées—still no water, no check-in, nothing. We had to flag down other staff members just to ask if someone was assigned to our table. When the server finally appeared, he dropped off chips, poured water, took the appetizer order, and disappeared again. He returned after our appetizer arrived, only to quickly pass by with a “how’s everything?” and vanish once more. It felt like we were on our own the entire time. Then, things got worse. My daughter found a piece of hair in her drink. We tried to bring it to a manager’s attention—but couldn’t even locate one. After a few minutes, we asked a staff member to notify the manager, who was apparently standing up front. It still took another 5 minutes before he came over. When he finally arrived, he apologized and said he’d “take care of us.” But it felt more like a scripted performance than real hospitality. Suddenly, the whole staff came alive—busboys cleaning, the server reappearing—because the manager was watching. But once he left, it was back to neglect. Even at the end, our server refused to refill our water. No apology. No real effort to make things right. Just pulled out his handheld payment device, processed our bill, and walked away. I think the expectation was because he was standing there, I'd be pressured into tipping him the suggested 20-25%. There was a 15% discount applied to our $68.35 check, totaling $11.32—but that small comp did not begin to make up for the lack of care and the unsanitary experience. Date of visit: May 24, 2025 Check #275 | Table 17 | Server: Jameel G.

We have been going to Trails End for more than 35 years. Sadly Disney management has done a great job of destroying a Fort Wilderness institution. The food at Trails End used to be some of the best food on Disney property, with one of the best buffets of comfort food around in my own opinion. Now Disney food management has turned Trails End into a quick service stop that has dropped the food quality considerably. This is so sad to see. This restaurant was a hub for great food and fun times while staying at Fort Wilderness. Once again progress in reverse here at Disney. This should not have happened. The food was good, now it is almost laughable. The cornbread here was a staple that you could always enjoy, now its not even recognizable. Food here used to be made from scratch and by caring people. That is now all gone. Another "quick service". That is not something you need at Fort Wilderness. Lots of people truly enjoyed coming to Trails End after day at the parks or swimming for an enjoyable dinner and a nice time sitting down with other guests. Enjoying good comfort food. While the cast members are very nice it just can't make up for Disney ruining something that had so much nostalgia. Shame on you.

1) Family owned and operated: That isn't just a catch phrase or something written in their marketing. Often, a family member will stop by to inquire about your meal. They're very hands on with their restaurant and why shouldn't they be? They're charging good money for a good steak... better ensure its good (and it is)! 2) Quality of the food: We'll get a bone-in-ribeye almost every time and they nail it 100% of the time. The other must have are the potatoes au gratin... (tip: they reheat almost just as well if you bake them vs. microwave). So why not a 5 star? Its in somewhat of an odd area, not the restaurants fault by any means... but you can't walk next store for a night cap or down the block of ice cream. In... and out. The real reason is we feel like the place could use some design upgrades. They do a fantastic job pulling off the vibe of a steak place as you either remember or imagine it decades ago. However, there is a fine line between run down and classic. If we could have given it 4.5 stars we would, because it deserves it on food and service alone. One other thought: the drinks are fantastic... however, they don't do much in the way of drink presentation. More like you would mix and serve at home. In reality, we believe its the best steak house in all of Orlando.

We went to Capa to celebrate our anniversary. Our experience was wonderful from start to finish. This is an anniversary celebration we will treasure. We were warmly greeted and seated in a quiet, charming area. We had a terrific view of the setting sun We were treated to champagne. The food was delicious. My wife and I had steak which was cooked to perfection. Our waiter, Andre, was marvelous. The manager introduced herself and not only gave us a fantastic desert wine, but explained it to us because it was so tnteresting and delicious. Her hospitality overall was incredible Not enough stars in the sky to give this restaurant.

Like others, we have eaten here several times; and have always had a good experience. The restaurant is still the beautiful and modern setting we remember from yrs past. The location is just off the lobby at the Wyndham Grand Hotel, which is convenient for anyone staying at the Wyndham resort. The decor is clean, and inviting; and even has a fresh fish display, and a sushi chef on hand... This visit, we dined on a Saturday night, and was near dead: Maybe 12 people total, counting our 5. The menu is very limited at this time, which is a downer. A few of the better options, that we remember from before, are no longer available. We opted for the fresh snapper, the fillet with potato, and the crab Mac n cheese. Honestly, I can’t remember what the grandkids ordered(crab Mac n cheese, and sliders, maybe?)... Everything was good, with the snapper stealing the show. We also grabbed a spicy tuna roll, which was excellent. Everything here tasted fresh to say the least. Service here has always been excellent. This visit was no different. Our waitress worked hard to keep everything coming to the table on time, and the glasses full. She also helped us make a nice selection on our wine, which we appreciated. Service gets a 5+ this go around. Overall, we love this place. I’ve rated it a 5 in most of my reviews, but this visit, I’m on the fence. Though I have no real complaints, the limited menu is tough to deal with. I miss the actual menu, which offered an array of fresh dishes. And, while I understand the short staff with this covid thing still hanging around, it still makes it frustrating. Either way, I do recommend trying Deep Blu, if you’re staying near Wyndham Grand, or the Wyndham time-shares at Bonnet Creek. Note: If you are staying at the Hilton or Waldorf Astoria at Bonnet Creek; or even the new JW Marriott, it’s a relatively short walk as well. We’ve done it before ourselves... Enjoy

As the tittle says, you can pay a lot of money in another restaurant, but the food here is fresh, cooked right in front of you. These people have been at this location for cover 30 years and they are planning yo be another 30 years in business.....👍❤️

Cafe La Trova delivers an exceptional dining experience, thanks in no small part to the outstanding service provided by their team. She created a warm and inviting atmosphere that truly enhances the overall enjoyment of the meal. Highly recommended for anyone seeking top-notch hospitality and delicious cuisine.

I made a reservation at The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen many months in advance to celebrate my daughter’s birthday during our visit to Universal Orlando Resort. With two kids (8 and 10), we were really looking forward to the steampunk atmosphere and the characters that visit tables. The restaurant came highly recommended and my family was very excited to check it out. We arrived and were seated on time by friendly staff. We were excited to pass by the tables in the modern/steampunk environment and were curious to see what our experience would be like. Instead, we were seated in a back room upstairs that felt completely disconnected from the restaurant — no view, no ambiance, and none of the themed characters came anywhere near our table. (We saw them making the rounds in the downstairs dining room that definitely seemed more vibey) It felt like we were hidden away from the experience. The biggest issue was the 60-minute wait for our food. In a theme park, that’s incredibly valuable park time to lose. We watched multiple tables around us get seated, eat, and leave while we were still waiting. It wasn’t until we asked about the whereabouts of our food that anything was acknowledged. Staff did apologize and offered a milkshake, which was appreciated, but by that point we were being rushed to leave and get back to the park, so it didn’t really make sense. The food seemed fine, but we had to rush through it so quickly that it was hard to even enjoy or properly judge it. To make matters worse, a misbehaving child at a nearby table launched a menu across the room that actually hit me in the neck. While that obviously isn’t the restaurant’s fault, it definitely added to an already frustrating experience. What should have been a special birthday dinner ended up feeling like an hour of precious park time wasted.

Went with my boyfriend and we had a wonderful time! This is our third time at this location and we just keep coming back. Amazing happy hour options! Food is always fantastic- we did the Classic Alpine cheese fondue, the Coq a Vin broth with the Classic as an entree, each a caesar salad, and the Flaming Turtle for dessert. Every time we’ve had a new server and every time they leave us talking about them for the rest of the day. This time we had Gabe and he was so friendly and charismatic, we felt right at home and completely & wholly taken care of. We’re going to make this a monthly thing! Thanks, Gabe!
