"To the Management Team at The Capital Grille, As frequent guests of Capital Grille, we have always held your establishments in high regard. However, our recent visit to the Miami location for a party of eight was deeply disappointing and fell far below the standards we expect from your brand. Out of eight entrées, six were served incorrectly. The issues ranged from two fish dinners and multiple side dishes arriving cold, to steaks being served overcooked or raw/purple. The most egregious failure involved my daughter’s filet mignon: after being sent back because it was raw, the manager returned the exact same piece of cut meat to the table without ensuring it was cooked properly. The steak required a third attempt to be cooked to the ordered medium temperature. Furthermore, all side dishes and another steak were served on cold plates. The service was equally lacking. Despite having two bottles of wine at the table, we were forced to refill our own glasses throughout the night. While the manager on duty assured us the situation would be rectified, the execution of the replacement dishes was consistently poor. Given our long-standing history with Capital Grille, this experience was shocking. At this time, we do not have plans to return to the Miami location
**GO TO METRO ESPRESSO INSTEAD** After ordering a side item and drinks, we waited over 40 mins before we decided to leave because we never received either. We even ordered a meal each during that time. When we told a waitress, who was not our original we were leaving due to the lack of service, we heard her ask the kitchen about the order and they replied they had no such order in. So the bartender that was taking care of us never put anything in nor brought us the drink that was asked for. 1000% horrible service. Do better. Hire better.
09/18 I barely leave bad reviews but I had to for this place. this place gave me the worst experience of this summer in the US. Since the very beginning the hostess was very arrogant in her behaviour and she had an attitude since the very beginning, we sat outside we waited more than 15 mins for our order and had to go to the bartender so he could take our order, it was a happy hour and as soon as it ended the hostess came and took the menus and we didnt actually order the entree we just had drinks, and she knew we sat way back and didn’t order yet. the food was good, i just didn’t like the service at all. i wouldn’t go back at this place
"We had a fantastic time here! Our server, Ramon, was absolutely wonderful, he was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. His food recommendations were spot on and ended up being the highlight of our meal. We’ll definitely be back!"
10/10 food and drinks every time. Honestly, the scratch kitchen quality is impressive! The reason for the 2 star is that this place has some of the most consistently worst service I've ever experienced in my life. Every visit I almost sigh walking in, knowing its gonna be a hassle to get in and get out. Working in the restaurant industry, I give a lot leniency and benefit of the doubt for service workers, but DAMN these people are just always bad here, busy or not!
10/10 would recommend, buffet is highly recommended if you do come, Fede our server made sure we we had a god time
This was hands down one of the most disappointing dining experiences my family and I have ever had. From the moment we walked in, things felt off. The restaurant was barely busy, yet we waited about 10 minutes just to be seated. Once we sat down, it took nearly 10 more minutes for our server, Jameel G., to even acknowledge us. In that time, we’d already picked out our appetizers and entrées—still no water, no check-in, nothing. We had to flag down other staff members just to ask if someone was assigned to our table. When the server finally appeared, he dropped off chips, poured water, took the appetizer order, and disappeared again. He returned after our appetizer arrived, only to quickly pass by with a “how’s everything?” and vanish once more. It felt like we were on our own the entire time. Then, things got worse. My daughter found a piece of hair in her drink. We tried to bring it to a manager’s attention—but couldn’t even locate one. After a few minutes, we asked a staff member to notify the manager, who was apparently standing up front. It still took another 5 minutes before he came over. When he finally arrived, he apologized and said he’d “take care of us.” But it felt more like a scripted performance than real hospitality. Suddenly, the whole staff came alive—busboys cleaning, the server reappearing—because the manager was watching. But once he left, it was back to neglect. Even at the end, our server refused to refill our water. No apology. No real effort to make things right. Just pulled out his handheld payment device, processed our bill, and walked away. I think the expectation was because he was standing there, I'd be pressured into tipping him the suggested 20-25%. There was a 15% discount applied to our $68.35 check, totaling $11.32—but that small comp did not begin to make up for the lack of care and the unsanitary experience. Date of visit: May 24, 2025 Check #275 | Table 17 | Server: Jameel G.
We have been going to Trails End for more than 35 years. Sadly Disney management has done a great job of destroying a Fort Wilderness institution. The food at Trails End used to be some of the best food on Disney property, with one of the best buffets of comfort food around in my own opinion. Now Disney food management has turned Trails End into a quick service stop that has dropped the food quality considerably. This is so sad to see. This restaurant was a hub for great food and fun times while staying at Fort Wilderness. Once again progress in reverse here at Disney. This should not have happened. The food was good, now it is almost laughable. The cornbread here was a staple that you could always enjoy, now its not even recognizable. Food here used to be made from scratch and by caring people. That is now all gone. Another "quick service". That is not something you need at Fort Wilderness. Lots of people truly enjoyed coming to Trails End after day at the parks or swimming for an enjoyable dinner and a nice time sitting down with other guests. Enjoying good comfort food. While the cast members are very nice it just can't make up for Disney ruining something that had so much nostalgia. Shame on you.
$199 bill for dinner for two with two cocktails. Not worth it. Good service but disappointing food. LapuLapu cocktail served in pineapple was $20. Now for dinner-started with kale salad which is green cardboard. Noodles were tasteless and boiled, unpeeled shrimp were served plain in a small bowl. Steak was very fatty and had lots of tough gristle. Don’t like bread pudding but I tried it. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.
Like others, we have eaten here several times; and have always had a good experience. The restaurant is still the beautiful and modern setting we remember from yrs past. The location is just off the lobby at the Wyndham Grand Hotel, which is convenient for anyone staying at the Wyndham resort. The decor is clean, and inviting; and even has a fresh fish display, and a sushi chef on hand... This visit, we dined on a Saturday night, and was near dead: Maybe 12 people total, counting our 5. The menu is very limited at this time, which is a downer. A few of the better options, that we remember from before, are no longer available. We opted for the fresh snapper, the fillet with potato, and the crab Mac n cheese. Honestly, I can’t remember what the grandkids ordered(crab Mac n cheese, and sliders, maybe?)... Everything was good, with the snapper stealing the show. We also grabbed a spicy tuna roll, which was excellent. Everything here tasted fresh to say the least. Service here has always been excellent. This visit was no different. Our waitress worked hard to keep everything coming to the table on time, and the glasses full. She also helped us make a nice selection on our wine, which we appreciated. Service gets a 5+ this go around. Overall, we love this place. I’ve rated it a 5 in most of my reviews, but this visit, I’m on the fence. Though I have no real complaints, the limited menu is tough to deal with. I miss the actual menu, which offered an array of fresh dishes. And, while I understand the short staff with this covid thing still hanging around, it still makes it frustrating. Either way, I do recommend trying Deep Blu, if you’re staying near Wyndham Grand, or the Wyndham time-shares at Bonnet Creek. Note: If you are staying at the Hilton or Waldorf Astoria at Bonnet Creek; or even the new JW Marriott, it’s a relatively short walk as well. We’ve done it before ourselves... Enjoy
We had the pleasure of dinning in for lunch yesterday. I want to take a moment and say how great the food and service was. We ordered the croquetas de pollo and empanadas de picadillo. It was one of the best I’ve had. We then ordered for our main meal the Ropa vieja and the Cuban sandwich. Both meals were delicious and fresh. The main reason I am writing this review mainly to brag on our waiter Ricky. I’ve dinned out plenty of times and he by far is the best waiter we ever had. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and very polite and professional. Always making sure we had enough drinks in our cups and making sure we had everything and that the food met our expectations. We had order a big to go order and he brought it out all ready to go and even boxed up our leftovers. Ricky truly made our dinning experience great. You have a real gem. Thanks again for a great dinning experience. We will be back. God bless.
$3.50 Mimosas for Sunday brunch. Upstairs outdoor patio. Excellent food quality. Well worth the 30 minute wait. Currently, you enter the restaurant or so you think.... Dolores is upstairs. Lolita’s is no longer downstairs but now houses SoCal, a Mexican restaurant. We had a cocktail at SoCal after putting our name on the list for Dolores. Wait to eat at Delores!!! We had the Hawaiian Poke Salad which was out of this world! And the Burrata Salmon and guacamole toast was incredible!!

Waiting 10 minutes for a menu and it was slow so what was the reason? Conversations more important?

Fantastic time this weekend while staying at the Intercontinental Hotel in downtown. Jair and his staff treated us so well! They were all very attentive to whatever we needed the entire weekend! Shout out to Edgar and Stephanie by the pool for taking care of us! 😎

The Bull and Bear was highly recommended by a couple of people who know the area well and who we respect their views on where to eat. However; the experience didn’t live up to the recommendations. We arrived early hoping to get a cocktail in the bar but was informed that it was at full capacity so settled for a place in the hotel bar. The bar tender, Arnold, made great cocktails. On to dinner, the first thing that we noticed was just how noisy the restaurant was with a number of large tables full of guests having to talk loudly over each other to be heard. We asked for somewhere quieter but was informed it was like this throughout the restaurant. So we settled in at our table and thumbed through the impressive wine list. The website says you can bring your own bottle and pay corkage of $65 as long as the bottle isn’t one that they have on the list but they do not publish a list on line so it’s pot luck on that one. We ordered the famed fried chicken and a filet mignon and waited…and waited….and waited for an hour before our food arrived. Dina, our server, was great and couldn’t apologise enough and even managed to get our food taken off of the bill which was greatly appreciated. If you plan on visiting go at the weekend to avoid the hoards of conference attendees. During the week this is a corporate venue.

Went with my boyfriend and we had a wonderful time! This is our third time at this location and we just keep coming back. Amazing happy hour options! Food is always fantastic- we did the Classic Alpine cheese fondue, the Coq a Vin broth with the Classic as an entree, each a caesar salad, and the Flaming Turtle for dessert. Every time we’ve had a new server and every time they leave us talking about them for the rest of the day. This time we had Gabe and he was so friendly and charismatic, we felt right at home and completely & wholly taken care of. We’re going to make this a monthly thing! Thanks, Gabe!
