If you ever been to jail or military then this will bring back memories NOT TRULY A HOSTEL more like a flop house in the 80s not cooking areas not even outside but it is a safe-ish enough environment 25$ for a bunk bed and that's pretty much it check your sheets and pillow case mine had the last girls chap stick in the pillow case 🫣
0/10 I don’t normally leave reviews but… My husband and I stayed after our cruise for one night before catching an early plane ride home… we docked early so we arrived at the hotel at 10am, they had no early check ins so they offered to store our luggage until we checked in. They offered me no other check in info at all!! We went to watch the marlins game and grab food, we came back at 5pm (check in said anytime after 3pm) NO STAFF WAS THERE! The storage room was locked with our luggage inside! All that was sent to me was codes to get into the building and room. I was not told/there was no information online or in person that this hotel didn’t have over night staff and in-person help was only 9am-4pm. We had a flight at 7am the next day and a created uber coming at 4am. WE WOULD NOT HAVE GOTTEN OUR LUGGAGE OR WOULD HAVE MISSED OUR FLIGHT!! We were extremely lucky that the owner happened to be there (he even said he isn’t normally) and he unlocked it for us. I am extremely disappointed. On top of that the outside of the building is run down and looks horrible. The entrance is janky and there is no information that you check in and out with a code sent to your phone!! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE & NOT WORTH $169 FOR ONE NIGHT!!
14 days stay in December 2025. This hotel needs more service staff. Customers suffer with overcrowded breakfast area and items unfilled. Long wait times for rooms to be cleaned. One of the two elevators out of service for 6 days and counting. Pool has been closed for tiling work. Staff tries their best, but needs more help.
10/10 Experience here at Dua, coming from a titanium with over 100 Marriott nights Beautiful hotel, nice rooms, huge pool and gym, and in a perfect neighborhood. Brickell is a very nice community area with a lot to do. The hotel provides 5 star service and it’s well reflected across every staff member you meet! One of the directors at the hotel Taylor is a noteworthy mention, any support I needed was taken care of without hesitation.
10/10 experience. The rooms, the food, and especially the service will all make me come back. Andres Meneses, the Chief Concierge really helped me in a pinch. Miami is full of great hotels, but the service here is the absolute best.
10/10 would stay here again. The hotel has a good location and atmosphere, and the room and staff were nice.
$1,070 Surprise Charge... Be Careful Be very cautious staying here...my experience resulted in two separate $500 smoking fees ($1,070 with tax) without any prior notice. We did not smoke in the room or anywhere on the property. We are lifelong non-smokers and are even willing to provide medical history if necessary. From what I’ve learned, the hotel solely relies on REST air quality sensors to issue these charges. These sensors can be triggered by normal activities, even something like a hair dryer. Despite that, there was no room inspection, no physical evidence, no reported odor, and no communication during our stay, even though the system is designed to alert staff in real-time. I attempted to resolve this with both the hotel and their management company (Highgate), but received inconsistent responses and no resolution. After further research, I found multiple other guests reporting the same mysterious $500 smoking fee just days after check-out. Charging guests over $500 based solely on automated sensor data, with no human verification, and charging twice for what appears to be the same incident is unacceptable. I am still working to have these $1,070 in charges removed. Until then (and even after then), I would strongly reconsider staying here.
$225 a night Hostel We were heading to the keys for a wedding and my wife booked this place, for a night in Miami. Its not a Marriott hotel, its a $225 a night hostel! The room is smaller then my walk in closet. The shower and the toilet are the same space. Even the remote shades didn't work.. not even a plastic glass for water in the room. I had to go to the lobby, i tried to buy a bottle of water, they only had sparkling. Omg, i got two glasses from the bar, so I could brush my teeth. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid. Unless all you looking for is a raised bed, pushed up against the wall, there is storage underneath, because its nowhere else.
100% AVOID. Mouldy tuna under bed (yes, really), loose medication in the bed, filthy bedding, management who ignore you. This is LONG. TLDR: Checked into a lagoon view room we'd paid extra for - lovely view, ridiculously unclean. Bedding was stained and full of hair - and an unidentified pill/tablet in the bed. Maid changed bedding into more dirty bedding. Moved and "upgraded" to a suite, with a worse view - rooftop pipes and no sun. Suite had build up of thick dirt and dust in the bathroom, stains on the cabinet and toilet roll, and a takeaway box with crusty tuna in under the bed. Took me over a month to get a refund, with Pullman management ignoring my emails. I wouldn't have got a refund had it not been for Expedia. Highly recommend going through a middle man such as Expedia etc. if booking this hotel. Lobby gave off a vibe of luxury, being so big and from what I saw it was clean and airy. Realised - after seeing the room(s) - it was a facade. Lift was dirty, and the floors leading to the rooms were just as filthy. First room: The view was lovely (paid for a lagoon view), but looking around the room we immediately noticed how dirty the bed was. There was a large stain on the side of the bed cover, with a stain also on the valance/skirting under the mattress (pictured). These stains aligned perfectly, which led me to believe this bedding had not been changed. After further inspection, we found several hairs and more stains. The maid that reception either didn't speak English well or she was incredibly rude, as she didn't engage with any of our questions or concerns, proceeding to change the bed in silence. We noticed after she'd made the bed that it didn't look like fresh bedding - it wasn't pressed, with tons of crinkles in consistent with bedding that's been scrunched up and flatted out...with more stains and hair. Additionally, I lifted up the mattress and underneath was a mass of dirt and hair - alongside a loose tablet (medication). On this factor alone, I'd be wary of booking this hotel if you have small children - I didn't inspect the rest of the room after finding this, but it wouldn't surprise me if there were more things like that lying around (confirmed further by my find in the second room). We contacted reception and they said they would "upgrade" us to a suite. Second room: The view was of a rooftop with industrial pipes, completely blocking the sun. The bathroom was incredibly unsanitary - thick dust on the skirting board, alongside a stain that ran across the front of the bathroom cabinet and extended to (and ON!) the toilet roll itself (pictured). Due to an early long-haul flight and being exhausted from the room change, we decided to stay the night (resorted to wiping things down & sleeping on my beach towel). When we were leaving the room, I did the usual check under the bed in case I'd left anything. The bed had a valance/skirting on, so I lifted this up (very dusty!) and saw something but couldn't tell what it was as it was dark. I used a piece of card to pull it out and saw that it was a plastic takeaway container. I didn't need to open it as it had a clear lid, it had crusty mouldy tuna in it and a takeaway fork. Absolutely grim. This combined with finding the medication in the previous room makes me concerned for future guests - what if a child had found the pill? Extreme example, but what if someone had an airborne seafood allergy or accidentally touched the tuna? When checking out, we complained to the desk staff and they kindly handed us the business cards for the room management (two individuals). They took SO long to get back to me, and even then it was only due to Expedia getting involved - Expedia told me the hotel also hadn't been answering their emails/calls. I'm still unsure whether the refund came directly from Expedia or the hotel itself - I'm chasing that up. For transparency: I didn't include the reference to the pill in my initial email to Pullman (not that it would have made a difference in the slightest), as I hadn't captured an image with it on to include, but I did inform reception the next morning. After how unprofessionally they dealt with my experience and concerns, I've tried to be as detailed as possible in this review to avoid others being misled when booking.
One night stay Right off the highway close to publix and shopping plaza, room was clean but old room door was extremely heavy and hard to open. There's a hospital up the road also didnt stay for breakfast for the right price I would stay again was in room 527 room faces the post office and highway.
$260 "Day Room" needs a plumber 25Feb2026 Pro: location; kind and helpful front desk, clean Con: miahotel.com does not list "day room" service which front desk offered me at 4AM when all $147 twin rooms were occupied; bathtub drain in room 661 needs plumbing

We stayed here for 2 nights due to the proximity to Bascom Palmer for my child's medical appointments. I will never bring them back to this hotel. Our room had a strong odor to it, like stale sweaty body odor. The couch was filthy and cushions were torn, and the bedding was stained and covered in hair/debris. You can tell their cleaning staff is not doing a good job because there was plenty of old stains on the floors and walls that had obviously been there for a while and the floors hadn't been vacuumed. The most alarming part of our stay was that my son got a carton of milk in the breakfast area and poured it on his cereal and realized it had gone bad. I notified the breakfast attendant and he said they would throw all the milk out at the end of the breakfast service. Who knows how many other people were served sour/curdled milk. I emailed the manager and got a written apology, but nothing more. The only positive was that the front desk staff was friendly.

Huge thank you to Juan Alejandro at the front desk! He made my check-in so seamless and was incredibly professional and knowledgeable about the area. The room was super clean, quiet, and spacious. Plus, there are so many great restaurants and bars just a short walk away. Highly recommend! ❤️

Unacceptable for the price I am paying So far so disappointing. I have asked 4 times since I arrived at 5pm for my safe to be fixed and yet no one has arrived. I do not expect this sort incompetence from a hotel I am paying this amount of money for. Unreal and very disappointing. And unfortunately met 2 gentleman in the lift who ones room card wasn’t working 5 times and had been waiting for over half our and another guy who’s safe wasn’t working either. Crazy!!
