A Saffron Thread on Chambers Street is a complete rip-off. The prices are outrageous for the microscopic portions they serve — it’s insulting, especially when people are already struggling to make ends meet. This isn’t fine dining, it’s daylight robbery with a side of saffron. How do you charge luxury prices for food that barely covers half a plate? The portions are laughable, and the flavor doesn’t come close to justifying the bill. It feels like they’re banking on tourists or people too polite to call it what it is — a scam in plain sight. To make it worse, the staff barely understand English, so trying to ask a question or clarify anything turns into a frustrating guessing game. At these prices, communication should not be a struggle. Bottom line: this place preys on location, not quality. Skip it. There’s nothing special here except the size of the bill.
A bit of a letdown for brunch — the atmosphere was beyond chaotic, the service abrupt, and the food average. I ordered the smoked salmon plate which felt overpriced for the portion size and stale bread. The ricotta lemon pancakes were also a pass. Glad to see their business is bustling but probably won’t be back!
A lovely spot on the water for great happy hour and snacks deals outdoors in the sunshine. My brother got married here. The food was quite good, as I recall. When it's too cool for the patio (or if it is inundated with bees, as it was when I came here last. Only reason for deduction on atmosphere), the bar has full windows looking out at the water. A solid place I had almost forgotten, but grateful to have found again.
1/5 - Service was extremely slow despite not being a busy night at all and food was extremely bland and not cooked well. My fiancé and I went on a Sunday evening, waited over an hour and 15 minutes for our entrees. Couple behind us also complained multiple times about the long wait for their entrees. As mentioned service is extremely slow. Drinks took over half an hour to provide. Food is bland, not seasoned and is not worth the price tag. Ordered a filet, $62 and did not eat more than a couple bites because it was tasteless, and was not cooked correctly, underdone and raw. Fiancé ordered the salmon ($38) and also stopped after a couple of bites. 4 stars for atmosphere as that was great - beautiful architecture, and ceilings that give you a view of Buffalo. Read reviews prior to dining, wish we liked it. Absolutely, not worth the money; however, we LOVED our stay at the hotel! 10/10 recommend the hotel!
10/10!!! Those were the best spring rolls I have ever had! Everything was sooooo good! The service was great, reasonable prices! I loved it and would definitely go again if I was in the area! I will likely crave this place once I get back to NYC.
11 out of 10! Thanks Jo for having us! Great Service and Food from another star! Absolutely my cup of tea… Awesome chef and location!
1. Built in 1924 on the waterfront of Mumbai, one can feel a vibe once you are there. It is a symbol of Mumbai enduring spirit and cosmopolitan character. 2. It is 85 feet (26 meters) tall with a central dome that is 50 feet (15 meters) in diameter. 3. It is must for anyone who is visiting Mumbai. One should go in evening to enjoy both the sunset and 2 different view of Taj and Gateway of India. 4. You can enjoy street food and visit elephant caves by streamer. 5. Parking can be a challenge and they charge a hefty amount for parking.
2separate kitchen s service one area food does not arrive together only order drinks french fries are greasey
A bit of a mixed bag here at the Mythos, not convinced with the 4 star plus rating, a 4 star hotel maybe but definitely only 3 star services - but I’ll start with the positives! 5 stars for the hotel staff - most are very helpful, kind and customer focused (with the exception of the Zoe restaurant where they avoided eye contact at all times!) There’s clearly nowhere near enough people to meet the demand at the Zoe. I actually felt sorry for them but they were really quite rude and very ignorant, quite different from the rest of the team. 5 stars for the cleaning staff - what a lovely bunch. Always said hello and our room was spotless every day. Special mention to Poppy, she’s an absolute gem, please take good care of her! 5 stars for the staff at the Olea Restaurant, super fast service, very attentive and the food was lush. There are lots of uninvited guests here tho… cats, mosquitos and wasps, annoying but didn’t take away from the food and service but if you don’t like eating with extra guests, you may want to think twice as there are loads of them! 5 star for the reception team - always on hand to help and very polite and welcoming. Bit of a wait when we arrived, usual queuing to sort rooms, cases, passports etc but not horrendous. Room wasn’t ready tho so if you’ve got an early flight, pop your essentials in your hand luggage. 4 stars for the hotel, beautiful place with the most amazing sea views (would definitely recommend you pay extra). It’s a huge complex though and our room was so very far away from the main restaurant. Lots of very steep slopes to navigate too - although they do have these buggy type things to ferry you about - if you’re lucky enough to catch one. Otherwise, a great workout and good exercise! It’s definitely more for the older clientele too, I’m +50 and felt positively young here! 3 stars for the all-inclusive - cheapest beer and wine possible and all the cocktails tasted the same! Ordered a couple of different ones but think they throw Ouzo In them all as even my Mojito tasted of aniseed! Ended up paying for our beers, wine and cocktails from the main menu in the end and gave up on the freebies (well they’re not actually free as we paid for them in the price of the holiday!). 3 stars for the village - I purposely booked a quiet location but seriously, there’s nothing here. It’s quiet and then some. Only one shop and a few cafe/tavernas but again, be prepared to walk as there’s no buses and taxis are very hit and miss. Being Greece, there’s no pavements when you step out on to the main road and constant traffic - take care if you’re elderly or need a wheelchair/scooter - walking around the village is not for the feint-hearted! Would recommend the travel place just down the road (Messonghi Travel). We had a couple of trips out and they were excellent. Highly recommend the boat trips, really well organised and went to some lush places (Parga and The Blue Lagoon). Just not enough time to visit as spent most of the trip on the boat journey (worth it though and good VFM). Pop into Messonghi if you get chance too, more happening here and a lovely stretch of sandy beach. The beach here in Boukari is stone, pebbles and seaweed but there are beds dotted about and the sea is amazing. Clean, warm and shallow - spent most of our days on the beach and in the lush waters. Loved the sea but missed the sand - make sure you have aqua shoes and there are a LOT of stones to navigate but again, worth it for the sea and beautiful clear water. 3 stars for the entertainment - had a couple of great nights. The Greek music with guitar and violinist was superb, really authentic. Very confusing where the entertainment was being held too, as it changed daily! They do have an App so you can see what’s what, but changing venues daily wasn’t ideal and if the entertainment is up on the roof (Sky Bar) be prepared for a long wait to get a drink/seat, it’s mad busy. 2 stars for the Zoe (main) restaurant. Be prepared to have finished your meal before you get a drink. Ended up helping myself to water a couple of nights as the staff literally walk past you, despite every attempt to get their attention. The food was OK but we gave up on breakfast (too far to walk for a bit of brekkie!) and lunch and ate lunch at the Olea instead. Limited choice at the Olea (not buffet style) but really nice food and a few Greek specialties and super-fast, excellent service! All in all, if you love the hotel life and are happy to spend your holiday by the pool and around a hotel complex, then this is the perfect place for you. If you like to get out and about more, maybe not! Lovely place but I wouldn’t return.
Live Music is a plus!!! I was there with my family and the place is a gem. Classic french food with a friendly service and romantic atmosphere.
We were in Buffalo, NY for the weekend. We stayed at a hotel across from the airport on Genessee St. Note: Also have another Danny's in Orchard Park. The hotel courtesy driver recommended Danny's. She told us that it would be best to make a reservation for Fri or Sat night dining. So we stopped in at 4pm, had a drink and made our dinner reservation for 6pm. Hours: Sunday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM Monday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM Tuesday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM Wednesday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM Thursday: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM Friday: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM Saturday: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM We moved our reservation from a table to the bar. We were greeted by the friendly bartender, Melinda. She brought our drinks ($8ea), menus and answered all our questions. Danny's has Fish Fry Fridays and "Buffalo's Favorite soup (4 choices, including Buffalo Wing Soup) & salad bar ($15.99"). We had two very good meals. My bride had the sirloin steak 8 oz.($19) cooked medium as she ordered it, with potato & mixed veg. I had the oxymoron vegetable pasta w/ Italian sausage ($18) - served hot, tasty, and an extremely generous dinner. Yes, I did take half to go. A very good value for our dinners. We had a very nice time at this friendly spot for locals and visitors. Melinda was friendly & helpful during our two hours visit. Thank you. Nick & Liz, Albany, NY
We were in Buffalo, NY for this weekend.Located on Route 5 in Amherst. Oops we were corrected that it's Snyder, NY, just over the line from Amherst. A 50 year old restaurant serving prime rib, steak, & seafood. We had dinner here on Fri 6/09/23 around 5pm. Found seats at the bar. Kevin was the bartender who is obviously well known and well liked in this neighborhood favorite drink spot. Clientele was a mix of folks playing the 19th hole and people ending their work week. Place filled up quickly after 5:30pm. We opted for for two fish dinners: Florentine Whitefish baked w/ sautéed Spinach & Artichokes finished with Scampi Sauce & Romano $22. and the broiled Cajun Haddock w/ rice & cole slaw $22. Both were served hot, generous portions, and very tasty. We felt this was a very good value for two wines, two beers & two dinners ($68). Service was top shelf. A fortunate find without knowing about this place previously. We'll visit again on next trip to Buffalo. Thank you. Nick & Liz, Albany, NY

Service were excellent. My PR was my steak sandwich was very salty.I would visit again but would request no seasoning to be added while cooking. We had a party of 8 everyone felt the food was to salty (a few people in our party suffers with hypertension 😔) also parking was a problem. Parking was a problem also

P.J. Clarke's On The Hudson is a fantastic spot for classic American fare with stunning waterfront views. The burgers and sandwiches are hearty and flavorful, and the drinks are well-crafted. The atmosphere is lively yet comfortable, perfect for casual dining or a relaxed night out. Service is attentive and friendly, enhancing the overall experience.

Covered a lot of ground and the guide was both knowledgeable and friendly. Tour would have been better if the guide was not also the driver and having to look for parking spots. Unfortunately, the guide was late arriving and also finished early.

Just did a 1 week stay and loved everything about this hotel. We did the king bed with a sofa bed, which was perfect for our party of three adults. The room was very spacious and very clean. I loved having the desk area to plan out our adventures for the next day each night. We were well taken care of the whole week and loved the nightly visits to see if we needed anything and to deliver chocolate. I can’t say enough good things about everyone who works there. Always friendly when we were coming and going. We really miss them! We were on the 26th floor and if it had been New Year’s Eve when it would’ve been able to see the ball from our room. Still pretty cool to be able to see the area though. They have a great restaurant and bar on the first floor. Just a few steps away as a Paris baguette where we enjoyed tea and pastries pretty frequently. There is also a Whole Foods right there in the event you needed to get a few groceries. The location couldn’t be better! Close to Times Square and so many other must see attractions, especially broadway shows. Easy access to subway and bus lines to get to attractions further away. I thought it was pretty quiet. We never heard any of our neighbors on our floor and I didn’t notice any traffic noise downstairs. LUMA is an excellent hotel with amazing staff!
