1. After 5 phone calls from the staff, I was told by the supposed Manager that I could not get a table for 6 at 1 pm and another table of 6 ar 2 pm as promised. When I argued for 10 seconds, he threatened to cancel the reservation and escort me out of the restaurant. I would have walked out but I expected my friends. 2. The waiter was rude because he was getting 18% tip so he did not care how he treated us. It was my birthday and there was a restaurant birthday card on display. I had to ask him for my cake and he gave it to me in a box and shoved it into a bag and said, " Now you've got it you can leave". 3. The food was disgusting. My lobster omelet was tasteless and had 3 dime sized pieces of lobster. The French toast was half a loaf that was toasted all the way round but with no egg and tasted like a cinnamon roll and the inside was just plain white bread. What a joke. We should have returned those brunch items. And they were overpriced at over $30. I actually want a refund. I want the waiter fired. And the manager too. They can check my reservation under Monica Demsky. The Manager also made racist remarks. We also noted a lot of empty tables from 1 to 3 pm so we can't figure out what their problem with the tables.
2 stars. first time at chipotle and the workers were to fast and gave me beans when i didn’t want them. the drink machine had no ice so all the drinks were warm. the food was spicy and i asked for the no spice. the store was very loud and the tables were not cleaned well. would not recommend
5 Star food, 0 star service. No smiling for the staff who greeted us, no stoping when the waiter (who’s not serving my table) when I requested to order. The tone was like it’s my fault not calling my table waiter. I already helped myself cooking, what else service should expect you guys have?
2nd time visiting here and had to leave a review, on both visits wait staff was very professional and attentive to our table, frequently checking in on us and ensuring our needs were met. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the food.
A big disappointment. The energy of the place is, cold, loud and uninviting. Went with several friends and it was hard to hear the conversation with the loud music and background noise. My friend noticed right off the bat that all the servers were men (???!) there was a single woman as the hostess and one woman in the kitchen. You can't have such an unblanaced work place in this day and age except by design. Our server was courteous and professional but I would not describe him as friendly. It took a long time for him to come after he gave us the menus and his presence was sparse in general. Kudos to Lee, the sommelier, who arrived with a great presence, was very helpful and was easy to connect with. He was the best part of our experience! The food was...meh... For the price point it was unmemorable. We shared the steak tartare, tuna sashimi, focaccia, seafood risotto, papardelle with chicken, lamb ossobuco and fish of the day (sole in wine beurre sauce). What stands out the most were the potatoes that came with the fish and the focaccia. Would not recommend to a friend and do not plan on going back.
1 hour wait at 5 on a weekday. Food was nothing special. I agree with others that if you must have their food, take it to go and enjoy it at home.
1 other table occupied now I know why - waited for a table no staff available- finally got a drink and menu after 20mins - another half a hour for food - waitress didnt speak English so hard to communicate- overal not returning ; now I know why there were no customers
1. We waited approx 30 for our 8 pm reservation. Why have reservations if they are not honoured in a timely fashion. 2 The noise level was like we were sitting in the kitchen. Could not hear our conversations across the table nor could we hear the specials the server verbally told us. Just give us a printout of the specials on a paper or on an iPad. 3. We ordered still water and bubbly and asked for the water to be left on the table as it was a very hot day. It wasn’t and the server was inattentive when our water glasses were empty. So we self served. 4. We ordered wine .Then, we were moved to a quieter area of the restaurant with a different server. When the wine came, I said to the server that it was this bottle was not the one we ordered. The server still poured the wine into the wine carafe. I asked if I could see the bottle. Sure enough, we were given a different bottle than the one we ordered. 5. When the server approached our table she always interrupted our conversation rather than waiting for a pause to ask her question(s) 6. The meal arrived which was tasty! Whew! 7. Then there was a mixup with the desserts. One order was incorrect and one couple had to wait 20 minutes for their dessert. Sadly, it was the newly engaged couple and the reason why we were out for this dinner. So, 1/7 for a high end restaurant. I am so disappointed! I hope management will try to address these issues so that this once great restaurant can regain our attendance. In the meantime, we will go elsewhere.
10 Star Dinner for 2 People Having a Birthday. 30th Time We have been here in a decade. Always consistently excellent food and impeccable service. .My colleague had 100 person wedding here with traditional Millefoglie Wedding Cake with 600 raspberries on top..they had knockout beyond compare service. My other colleague just booked their wedding for Aug. 2025
100 % when I go to the any Vietnamese restaurants , I just order the Pho and spring roll quick eat and leave , do not care much any decor or fancy menu , one of my Vietnamese client hear that I am a very fussy foodie , so they invite me for dinner last night , it is almost three years since my last visit , still very modern upscale and bright ambiance , very busy almost packed , little noisy that my liking , and the tablets too close together , not very relax or comfortable , but very creative traditional Vietnamese menu with a touch of French far style cooking , it is not a cheap place for Vietnamese food , almost double the price from another Vietnamese's restaurant , average price for Pho is between $20 to $25 , outside most you pay is $16 , again , lot of foods for 4 people , the best dishes is the Soft crab salad , a classic dishes very colourful and tasty and the Meat platter very flavourful , also the shrimp pancake not too bad , very top end quality , I all way tell people , you pay what you get , no wonder is one of the Michelin restaurant recommended it , I thank my client for a wonderful meal , would I come back ? not likely , too noisy and not relaxing place to enjoy your meal , special just for Pho and too expensive and waiting time over half hours , foods is excellent , but you know what people say " Different stroke for different folks " okay to try it out , if you have not been to any upscale Vietnamese restaurants in Vancouver . service is okay . I love their excellent idea for reservation by donation program !

I was on a trip with friends and we decided to have dinner before leaving and we picked the right spot. Great ambiance and menu. Chef Mau made sure my food was delicious! Thank you! Can’t wait to be back.

I found this place just in time—my phone was almost dead! The staff were incredibly kind and seated me at the bar so I could charge it. While my phone powered up, I enjoyed a delicious “Criminale” pizza that absolutely hit the spot. The surprise drink and the lovely music made the whole experience truly special. Definitely a one-of-a-kind visit—I’ll be back!

Great location and although we went when dark, the view was lovely over the harbour. Very busy, we’d booked ahead and were seated promptly. Quite noisy and dark (we’d to use the table candle to see the menu!). Excellent food and great service.
