Absolutely disappointed in this restaurant. Every single table was dirty and full of trash. They had like 3 people working. When I asked to have my table cleaned the employee just sloped a wet cloth over it. I had to get napkins to dry it. There were no straws or napkins anywhere to be found. I waited 30 minutes to get my food.
After finding a large housefly cooked into my meal, I’m not sure I can come back here again. I worry about the state of cleanliness in their kitchen and if any larvae was potentially cooked into their rice pots. They also didn’t do much more than to refund my meal after being a loyal customer for many, many Uber orders. I’m not sure what I was expecting but perhaps a little more customer service and empathy for a real faux-pas in the dining world.
10 out of 10! I have been here for a “Sunday Evening Pizza”. Very clean restaurant in a great neighborhood. We had 2 appetizers (very gentle portions) and 2 pizzas. Both of them were absolutely delicious even if one came out a bit cold. The Tiramisù was a great choice as well. Miranda, who took care of us, was very professional and friendly. We will come back 100%
2025.08 Friendly service, clean and nice atmosphere The problem is the food! Maybe because it's catering to foreigners, the food isn't savory or tasty. Sweet kimchi stew, salty and sweet budae jjigae ㅠ Among the side dishes, kimchi and bean sprouts are delicious, but I ate the rest once or twice and left them.
0/10 would not recommend Dirty dingy, dated and disgusting. The bed was a rock.If you love yourself you will not stay here. The only redeeming factor about this hotel is that it has two pools are they clean? Who knows? The rooms were very dirty with cigarette burns and carpet from the 80s.
1 Star Quality hotel not 5, Stay Elsewhere Not a 5 star hotel, no 5 star service, including lack of help with luggage, turn down service, and butler service even when paid for. Food also took 3 1/2 hours to be prepared, even when it was raw seafood, and came out dry and uncleaned but still charged over $200 for dirty seafood platters. Young children seated at bar after 11pm, and managers of the hotel very disrespectful and discriminatory. Do not stay here, spend your money somewhere else of value.
3 stars hotel maxim It's not worth $490 per nigh. Hotel need deep cleaning! The room we got was spacious but had a bad smell, meaning old cigarettes smell, so terrible that even open windows didn't help. We asked them to change the room and it took them half of the day to do it. The room wasn't clean, shower had obvious brown spots of dirt that I was able to remove with one swipe. The Spa area had 2 steam rooms and none of them was working. The only good thing about it was the location, as it's close to the shopping and museum. They have nice events space but the rooms are so poorly managed. The are so many buttons on the wall that are not doing anything, to turn off the light you need to go to the each lamp.
Ok but not great Spent a couple of nights here recently. Not bad but not great. Breakfast was pretty disappointing. The rooms are small but clean. The hall needed attention. Bed was comfortable. Reasonably quiet for a corner room. Friendly staff.
$1700 for wall views & broken lights Location was great, rooms were clean, hotel was nice and clean. The smoke alarm in my room began beeping in the late evening, so I called the front desk, they promptly had someone come up to change the battery. The next morning, the lights in the bathroom wouldn’t work. Called concierge, they said they would send someone up. I waited 30 minutes and no body came. I had an event to get to that morning so I began getting myself ready in the dark. Tried messing with the lights again and they worked. Called concierge to let them know it was working again and they told me “yeah they turned it back on, no one is coming up”. ‘Ummm, that information would have been helpful 30 minutes ago’ I think to myself. Views. My view was of some dead plants and a wall. All of these things wouldn’t have felt so bad if my stay didn’t cost nearly $1700 for 2 nights! Wouldn’t stay here again.
100/10 Absolutely Perfect Stay Booked this hotel for a last minute spontaneous 4 day/3 night trip to Toronto -- wasn't expecting to fall in love but I did!! 10s across the board, no complaints. As a solo female traveler, safety is my #1 concern when I stay anywhere, and I felt extremely safe at this hotel! Loved having it as my home base after fun days of exploring the city. Rooms were beautiful and looked exactly like the pictures. Spacious, clean, and you could tell every bit of the design was planned with the guests in mind: light switch panels by the bedside, extra bathroom goodies, automated toilet with heated seats! Truly felt like a luxurious escape without breaking the bank. Reception and bar/cafe in the lobby were just as gorgeous too. About a 10-15 min walk to major attractions like the CN tower, Rogers Centre etc and a block away from the nearest streetcar stop. Great location if you wanna stay in the city but far enough away to not have to deal with the noise and crowds. So many amazing food spots in the area in any direction you walk in. Staff went above and beyond every day. Everyone was genuinely kind, accommodating, and never made you feel like a bother. Special thank you to Khrystyna for being so welcoming and generous at check-in! Looking back I wish I extended my trip so I could've stayed longer. Will definitely be staying here again if I am ever in the Toronto area.

Luxury Prices for a 1970s Motel if You’re on the 13th Floor & Below I booked this hotel on Expedia, for a supposedly “luxury” hotel, you should be VERY aware that not all of the hotel is luxury. When you walk into the lobby, you get the luxury experience, but if you get stuck in a room in the north tower up to the 13th floor, you get a 1970s grimy dive room. Our 2-bedroom suite, was a not really 2 bedrooms. It was a bed in the front, a bathroom (with a WINDOW) & sink/refrigerator hall, then another bed with sofa bad & coffee table. The whole room felt grimy, there was a dead bug in one of the framed pictures, and the shower seemed gross enough that my partner who will not go a day without showering, refused to use it. Then, the service was also lacking. I asked for a blanket for the sofa bed which had only a flat sheet around the mattress, and it took 2 calls and nearly an hour when I wanted to be asleep to get it. Upon giving the hotel feedback when they texted me after the stay, the only responses were “Some rooms haven’t been updated” and “Do you still need a blanket?” If you haven’t updated some rooms, you should have pictures of those rooms and price them accordingly because they are not the same value as renovated luxury rooms!
