A very bad restaurant, an order for an hour late, and an order for missing sauce, a drink, and the food table has dirty and dirty bird feathers
Google Maps Top complaints
Absolutely disappointed in this restaurant. Every single table was dirty and full of trash. They had like 3 people working. When I asked to have my table cleaned the employee just sloped a wet cloth over it. I had to get napkins to dry it. There were no straws or napkins anywhere to be found. I waited 30 minutes to get my food.

After finding a large housefly cooked into my meal, I’m not sure I can come back here again. I worry about the state of cleanliness in their kitchen and if any larvae was potentially cooked into their rice pots. They also didn’t do much more than to refund my meal after being a loyal customer for many, many Uber orders. I’m not sure what I was expecting but perhaps a little more customer service and empathy for a real faux-pas in the dining world.

10 out of 10! I have been here for a “Sunday Evening Pizza”. Very clean restaurant in a great neighborhood. We had 2 appetizers (very gentle portions) and 2 pizzas. Both of them were absolutely delicious even if one came out a bit cold. The Tiramisù was a great choice as well. Miranda, who took care of us, was very professional and friendly. We will come back 100%

A Wonderful Delicious Experience For starters the service was fantastic always taken care of; along with being so friendly they make you feel like part of the family. The speed the food was brought out to us as well was very quick but also the perfect amount of time to get settled in between the apps and the entrée. The apps were Fantastic we had the Deep Fried Ravioli which were these perfectly done home made ravioli with a fantastic sauce to dip in. With those we also ordered the Stuffed Banana Peppers which were the best stuffed peppers I've ever had in my life; Done with that homemade sauce that makes my mouth water. For the Mains we ordered a few different items. I had the special of the day the Ricotta Stuffed Shells which I enjoyed fully not even leaving sauce on the plate which I cleaned off with the done in house focaccia bread which was to die for. The person I went with had a meatball sub that he gave the highest of praise to and from what I saw looked Sublime. He also enjoyed the lasagna which I had a bite of and when I tell you that this lasagna beats any others that I've ever had anywhere else that is no lie or exaggeration. Along with the great food and amazing service all of the prices were very friendly and reasonable making it this a must dine location that I will be recommending to all of my friends and family. I LOVED THIS RESTURANT

- Staff was nice - Do not eat here if you love authentic Italian food. The only good thing my family ate was the warm bread....that is it. - So disappointed on how dirty the bathrooms were, made everything that much worse. There are many good place to eat in Toronto, THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM. Price is very good for families, my kids hated the food here ( 9 & 10 years old)

DESPICABLE SERVICE. BYBLOS DOWNTOWN DOES NOT VALUE CLEANLINESS OR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Short story: we found a LIVE caterpillar in our food. Tyler, the closing manager, threatened that if we didn't pay for the food that we DID NOT consume he would call the police. As racialized women, we felt we had no choice but to pay the bill. Long story: The evening started off great with wine and apps. We had just started the second course when we noticed a caterpillar had crawled out of one of the dishes. We didn't know which dish so we immediately all stopped eating. We quickly caught the attention of a passing server and they removed the caterpillar and escalated the situation to the manager. Tyler was the only manager available to "assist" us. Right off the bat he was unapologetic and tried to offer us a complimentary dessert. We communicated to him that we had lost our appetite and did not wish to continue dining; despite this, a third course was brought to the table. We communicated to Tyler AGAIN that we did not want to continue with our dinner. He removed the dishes and brought the bill. We assumed that Byblos, a well-established restaurant, would not charge us for the dishes we did not consume/had a bug in it. Any other restaurant in Toronto would have removed those items from the bill, at the very least, or would have comped us for the entire meal. However, when the bill arrived, it included half of the second course, which we never consumed, and he stated that he had 'waived' the third course (which came after we communicated that we didn't want to dine there) as an "apology" for our experience (it's not an apology when you remove items from the bill that shouldn't have been on the bill in the first place). He stated that mistakes happen and this was the best he could do. He refused to remove those items and we escalated the matter further. He spoke to the manager (Matt) who was offsite. We waited patiently for 45 minutes (we could have easily walked out but we didn't). When Tyler returned he provided us with the exact same bill and said that we either had to pay the bill or that he would call the 52 division for non-payment. We were all shocked that he threatened to call the police, especially because we were more than happy to pay for what we consumed. What started as an unfortunate mistake turned into a despicable customer experience. A simple apology and waiving of unconsumed food, which was completely at the fault of Byblos, would have de-escalated the situation. Instead, we were subject to unnecessary threats, including being followed and forced out of the restaurant. We will be making a formal complaint to Dinesafe Toronto and will never be dining at Byblos again.

Finding this gem was an accident as we researched on foot for an early meal in Little Italy before leaving Toronto. On a Saturday- even at 5pm you need a reservation but we sat up at the bar and ate there. Fabulous food and service and very clean ( we could see!) We had excellent bruschetta and figs with goats cheese wrapped in prosciutto- delicious. We shared our two tagliatelle choices Gingrich misto and frutti del mare. Both were excellent. This is the place to come in Little Italy!

A relatively quaint Italian restaurant set in the Church and Wellesley Village area. We went on a busy Saturday night. The customer service was pretty good. We waited only about three minutes to be seated and didn’t need a reservation. The waiter had a basic knowledge of the menu but wasn’t confident about making recommendations. We did a prix fix menu ($33). The menu had many good options to choose from, most at a very reasonable price (eg 12oz T-bone steak for $23 - you can’t buy and make it for that price at home). I had the cream of mushroom soup, chicken Parmesan and chocolate lava cake. My buddy had the mussels, chicken Parmesan, and the tiramisu. The apps were very good; main meal was average; the lava cake was great but the tiramisu was underwhelming. The serving size was very generous. The place was a little crowded, clean, not very unique aesthetically but staff were very good. Overall a good experience with very fair prices for the quality and quantity of food.

A very friendly welcome in French from a young man from Ivory Coast, the staff overall is considerate and very pleasant, professional. The quality of the dishes is excellent, the decoration of them is also neat. Finally, two of us are vegetarian, we had the immense pleasure of having our vegetarian and Vegan menu and therefore we did not have the Impression of bothering the world with our wishes, nor the Impression of having a limited choice as in many other restaurants! A big bravo and thank you 🙏👌 Finally, the bill is very low compared to the quality and the fact that the tip is included and shared among all the staff is much healthier, the waiters are natural, do not push for consumption or do not make a show aimed at obtaining a significant tip...

Had tons of knowledge behind the bar and honestly have a great service. I would recommend to come here and will be for sure back here again. The chicken parm dish and the butter chicken dish was amazing. Super lite and clean. Tatsy as hell

We went to the 360 Restaurant at the CN Tower to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday — a very special day that we were truly excited about. We expected a world-class experience from such a famous and expensive restaurant. But the moment our food arrived, we were shocked to see a fly sitting on top of the dish. This completely ruined our appetite and the mood of our celebration. Although the waiter replaced the food, the damage was already done. We still paid the full bill and even left a tip out of respect, but honestly, this should never happen in a restaurant of this level. It was embarrassing, disappointing, and offensive to experience such poor hygiene and quality control at one of Toronto’s most iconic dining spots. I truly hope management takes this seriously, because no guest should go through this — especially during a special occasion.
