(French below) WARNING! Don't tip at this business! the owner steals them off of the employes! Disgusting owner and dirty practice I hope he reads this. A friend of mine who used work there gave me this information. AVERTISSEMENT! Ne donnez pas de pourboire à ce restaurant! le patron les vole aux employés! C'est dégoûtant, j'espère qu'il lira ceci. Un de mes amis qui travaillait là-bas m'a donné cette information.
1) no sanitary measures taken. Person who makes the sandwiches wears gloves but takes every clients buzzer when their meal is ready and continues making the sandwiches with the same gloves. Doesn’t even use the tongs available to get coleslaw, pickles, turnips. Does it with gloves. Then rolls sandwich up touching the meat with…yes, the gloves. 2) very expensive. Sandwich and small salad. No drink. $22.
2 stars. first time at chipotle and the workers were to fast and gave me beans when i didn’t want them. the drink machine had no ice so all the drinks were warm. the food was spicy and i asked for the no spice. the store was very loud and the tables were not cleaned well. would not recommend
10 out of 10! I have been here for a “Sunday Evening Pizza”. Very clean restaurant in a great neighborhood. We had 2 appetizers (very gentle portions) and 2 pizzas. Both of them were absolutely delicious even if one came out a bit cold. The Tiramisù was a great choice as well. Miranda, who took care of us, was very professional and friendly. We will come back 100%
A Smart And clean Restaurant.
Absolutely loved this pizza! 🍕🔥 The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, with that delicious wood-fired flavor. The toppings were generous and fresh, and the cheese was melted just right. Every bite was balanced and full of flavor. The place itself is clean and welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the service was quick. Plus, the music created a great vibe without being too loud. Definitely coming back!
- Staff was nice - Do not eat here if you love authentic Italian food. The only good thing my family ate was the warm bread....that is it. - So disappointed on how dirty the bathrooms were, made everything that much worse. There are many good place to eat in Toronto, THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM. Price is very good for families, my kids hated the food here ( 9 & 10 years old)
6 years ago I went for the visiting chef tasting menu . The paring with vines the meal was memorable . The next visit was ok .This time despite same owner it is not the same . I like my sardine cleaned from the organs or filleted and not to be given an attitude we the Portugiase we eat it that way especially what I believe were frozen with a bitter taste . The rest of the meal was bland just below average
90s ambience. Bit rundown but clean. Mussels I tried was boring. So was my Veal Which i was verymuch looking forward for. My Manhattan was perfect so was the wine service. Overall failed to impress.
Finding this gem was an accident as we researched on foot for an early meal in Little Italy before leaving Toronto. On a Saturday- even at 5pm you need a reservation but we sat up at the bar and ate there. Fabulous food and service and very clean ( we could see!) We had excellent bruschetta and figs with goats cheese wrapped in prosciutto- delicious. We shared our two tagliatelle choices Gingrich misto and frutti del mare. Both were excellent. This is the place to come in Little Italy!
.......but the really "special" reveals itself when you go to the restrooms / toilets in the basement - here art hangs on the walls, there is a cozy sitting area and everything very, very clean and stylish (if you say that you can infer the cleanliness in the kitchen from the toilets, then this restaurant should have a unique selling point). Very nice service in addition to two very tasty and rich bowls (incl. drinks) for approx. 60 CAD - always happy to return! Restaurant is less than 500 meters next to the Broadway-City-Hall metro station and is therefore easily accessible without a car.
A M a Z I N G !!! Excellent waiter- excellent vibe - but the food the taste...a nice clean restaurant, great service and this place was full when we were seated - full house - This place is a “m u s t “ visit and you will get lots of food so pace yourself.

Half the menu not available especially sandwiches, everything overpriced compared to other spots walking distance from here, not clean loud music just 1 cook as server takes too much time for prep

It's like going home to the Philippines. Very personable staff. Clean dine in experience. Got the Palabok Fiesta and chicken tenders combo. Son loves the chicken. Got some peach mango pie to go. The pineapple quencher is so pineappley.

We passed Sol and entered La Mallorquina, we were having coffee in the lounge upstairs. All right until I went to the toilet. I'm sorry to have to say it's a shame that you have it that way, so dirty! A place of such prestige as La Mallorquina should not be allowed that customers have to see that dirt in the service since it deserved, harms the prestige of the pastry. I hope that my comment will be taken into account to correct this grave situation that I have witnessed today.

We went to this place because recommended by multiple locals. Clean, nicely decorated and welcoming. Professional staff, able to communicate with empathy and in English. Food of excellent quality, presented with care. Fair price
