Bad service
Dishonestly lists it's menu prices by adding a resteruant set fee to the price. If they were honest they advertise the true price.
+Great food. A little expensive but fair prices -Terrible ambience and mediocre service. =Next time I’m getting take out!
Sometimes I travel so I can immerse myself in the local cuisines and traditions. And other times I find local restaurants that remind me of those odysseys. My first pilgrimage to Cantoo Latin Asian Rotisserie let me wander and explore two cuisines and countries at the same time - Venezuela and China. I can hardly wait to go back. I stopped off on my way to see Richard Thompson at the Fillmore. The menu is pretty extensive and there are so many different soups, appetizers, rotisserie chickens, B.B.Q. pork ribs dishes and clay pots. The list and unique combinations were endless and a bit overwhelming. I ordered a Empanada con Carne Mechada: Deep fried corn flour empanada with Venezuelan shredded beef. and Chili Oil Pan-Fried Pork Dumplings: Home made pork dumplings! Made from scratch, starting from grinding the meat, to seasoning the filling of the dumplings. Both were so good. The Empanada had flavors of sweet corn filled with a rich shredded beef. The Pork Dumplings were fresh and tasty. The chili oil gives the dumpling's the right amount of heat and made my tongue sing. Service was so kind, friendly and efficient. I know I just scratched the surface of this gem. While located in the Tenderloin, the street is alive with people and automobiles. I felt completely safe. Matt says if you are anywhere near O'Farrell St - maybe near Union Square or on your way to the Great American Music Hall, take a Lyft or the 38 (R) Muni and let yourself travel to China and Venezuela and explore the amazing and creative foods of those countries.
Wonderful food and service!
"Burma Love" is more than just a restaurant name; it embodies a spirit of care and dedication in every dish served. The staff greets patrons with genuine kindness and warm smiles, creating a familiar bond that enhances the dining experience. During my visit, I enjoyed the Tea Leaves salad, a delightful dressing made of olive oil and tea leaves, complemented by fresh herbs. Each ingredient was carefully chosen, reflecting the thoughtful preparation and the sacrifices made in the kitchen. The positive emotions infused in the food resonate throughout the dining experience. The warm and inviting environment makes you feel right at home, whether you dine in or opt for takeout.
This is a must read, I did put this at the bottom but it needs to be here, the restaurant try to con you, check my pictures for proof. The bill/check comes with 18% gratuity INCLUDED, they then give you the receipt to sign and it’s asking for a tip with recommended tip amounts!!!!!! Absolute disgrace, clearly trying to trick you into another tip, be cautious or don’t go. Over the road from our hotel this place always seemed busy so we decided to give it ago. Seated pretty quick by the polite and friendly receptionist, pretty much all downhill from there. Firstly food, it is good food, very tasty(and spicy) go medium or lower if you can’t take hot food, the porky jerky great, belly pork also great, sticky rice perfect. All downhill from there. Service- other than the receptionist and girl who took the order was simply very poor, ordered drinks, had to ask for them after 15 minutes, food arriving before the drinks, totally no, no, get more staff or less tables if you can’t cope, I ordered a second beer that never even came, I’d given up hope by then.
We were staying at the Ritz, so this restaurant was a convenient option. Parallel 37 is the hotel's only restaurant and is supposedly a fine dining option. After reading prior reviews, we thought that maybe this was a hidden gem in a city with so many stellar dining options. We chose the tasting menu thinking that it would showcase the chefs talents. The food throughout its multiple courses was fresh enough but it was as if the chef was trying too hard to make gourmet dishes. It just seemed incongruous and awkward. We chose the wine pairings as well but in my opinion they missed the mark. The service was pleasant but nothing special especially considering this is a Ritz. The dining room itself is a multipurpose dining room that is rather pedestrian in regards to its presentation and decor. If one does not feel like venturing out, this restaurant is an ok option. Of note, the breakfast service was much more Ritz like and our server Luis did a great job. Some of the specialty dishes like the huevos rancheros were excellent, but the pancakes were not very good. Again, a mixed bag.
"We do not have alcohol - we are a vegan restaurant" - An argument I had not heard of before! The food was very good. The prices were low compared to the quality, so in terms of value for money this is absolutely the place to go to. Service was below average and the atmosphere is lousy, the chairs are unpleasant. It is more like a canteen than like a restaurant.
Exactly what we were looking for! Authentic Chinese food! Offered jasmine tea as soon as we were seated soooo good... Enjoyed the bok cho, pot stickers, Mongolian beef, wonton soup and bbq pork fried rice. Perfect food experience. Room was cozy, had a cute table next to window. Staff went out of there way to give us a great experience! Loved it thanks for the jasmine tea and hot pepper to go :)
Thank you Mr. Francis Ford Coppola for this charming place in SF Your spirit is definitely here The service is very professional The Italian food here is authentic We are definitely in Roma The plate of charcuterie and cheese delicious The Gorgonzola, the Taleggio and the prosciutto sublime. We love the Inglenook Cab..!!! Do not forget the Tiramisu .. mamamia.. A must in San Francisco
The sashimi was very fresh also the peanut butter roll was so good. Noisy but fun atmosphere. Service was great!!

Came here on a double date. We were immediately seated due to having reservations. Our waiter immediately came and took orders when we were ready. He provided drink reccomendations upon being requested. I ordered the 2 tacos entree (Salmon and shrimp), my wife ordered the steak entrees. She ordered a beer and I ordered the watermelon type of drink. My tacos were so dry and the waiter forgot to bring me avocado salsa. However, even after he brought it, it was still so very dry and not very flavorful. It's like the just added the seafood on it without seasoning it. Also, I specifically told him no onions. However, there was onions on both my tacos. The rice was hard on some of the parts. The only thing great was the beans. My wife stated that get steak was bland as well. She nor I was pleased. I didn't bother to complain because we were with other people and I just wanted to have a great night. My drink came out watery with no flavor. I had to ask for additional watermelon stuff to put in it. He didn't even give me a straw, although he posted straws to everyone else. The waiter only came over once to check in on us and that was it. When the bill came, I gave the waiter $20 to make change for me. He made the change and handed it back to my friend. He was not even paying attention to us the entire time and now this. I felt such a way.

Simply the best restaurant in the Inland Empire. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by the incredibly personal staff and enveloped in a cozy modern atmosphere. Soon, you'll drink the best cocktails you've ever had, and you'll eat food that is delicious and simply made with love. This is truly a restaurant where you can safely order off the special menu every time, but the standards are incredible too, and so is the Sunday brunch! "When you're here, you're family" is a trademarked line from another restaurant, but Nuno's makes it a reality.

I mean… let’s be honest, you don’t go to Pier 39 for the food. It’s the iconic pier with the sea lions that bring us back to Fisherman’s Wharf time and time again, and if you get a seat by the back windows then I’d say it’s worth it. Otherwise, you might leave feeling like it didn’t quite hit the mark. Frankly, the food screams Sysco — I’m not convinced I was eating local or fresh fish, let alone a house-made coleslaw or sauce. The service was spotty, and we spent far too long trying to get someone’s attention to grab the check. I did appreciate that they validated parking, though it was only discounted and not fully included (something to consider if you’re driving in).
