I went to Le Gratin and once again it was such a great experience. Everything was just perfect. The food was absolutely delicious, you can truly taste the quality of the ingredients. It feels authentic and carefully prepared, not just beautiful on the plate but genuinely flavorful. The presentation is stunning, every dish looks thoughtfully crafted, thanks Chef Jules ! :) And the service really makes the difference. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. They are attentive without being overbearing, always smiling, and it genuinely feels like they are happy to have you there. It’s always a pleasure to be served by such a warm and professional team. I’ve been several times now and I’m honestly never disappointed. It’s consistently excellent. Highly recommend!!
Great food
Amazing food
$ 9.99 for 5 cheese sticks tasted like they were frozen. We went with a groupon and were treated second class. Was told the Groupon would only cover dinner items ( Groupon said anything on the menu ) Would not give us the salads that came with the dinner items. And the sauces were not as good a Olive Garden and I don't consider Olive Garden a good example of Italian food. The back room was much better looking than the garish front. So, I thought the value was poor, the service somewhat hostile and the food mediocre. Would never go back
$71 for a dry meager piece of Dover sole without any side dish is over the top ridiculous even for Manhattan. This was a special so the price wasn’t noted anywhere. I might have asked the waitress for the price but we were entertaining a friend from Europe & didn’t want to appear tacky. If the fish was extraordinary I would have overlooked the expense but unfortunately this wasn’t the case. The bill for four people for 2 cocktails, 1 glass of wine,1 coke & 3 fish and 1 chicken dish with no appetizers or desert was with tip over $400- there are many, many other great restaurants in New York -skip this one
0,5/5. We had dinner at the Il Cortile Restaurant yesterday night. Can’t believe we took a cab to get there on time, then we had to wait because we were 5min early. Bartender doesn’t know anything about wine. When we got to the table the waiter was nervous and agressive. We had to wait 1h to get our pasta while sipping this horrible French white wine that we couldn’t taste before ordering it. The food was bellow average, most of it ended up in the garbage. Last but not least we threw up in the toilet because of the bad wine. Ended up with a bill of 209$ for 3 dishes and a bottle of wine. I would never recommend this place to anyone! Careful about the doubtful reviews.
Great food, wine and service!
$10 for a sandwich is a bit high, but this is NYC. The sandwich was tasty, but nothing to write home about. The best thing is that it was close to the hotel.

Service was pretty bad, and slow. Best part of the dinner was the oysters, which you can’t really mess up. Ordered dirty martinis, don’t think they know that olive brine goes in those which is shocking given that it’s a bar room. Went to McDonald’s after spending $100pp.

Great mixology here, great cocktails. I really enjoy having great conversations here. I come here often, and service has always been great. Prices are a bit reasonable for what you get, but it's a good time every time I'm in the Chinatown area. Great place!

Very disappointed. So disappointing! I chose a more expensive hotel for our anniversary trip. From the first step into the lobby, the hotel appeared very dirty and worn - entry doors with hand prints, carpets with stains and the floors were in disrepair. The carpets in the hallways were filthy with big stains. The room was not ready so they did hold our bags. The room itself was satisfactory, but it had ONE set of bath towels. They did bring up a second set. We had trouble figuring out the AC, but after 2 calls to the desk and no response from the "engineer" we figured it out. The 6th floor terrace had dead plants in the pots - it is mid May and could have been planted. The bar was dark when we arrived and the beverage manager was covering for the "no show" bartender. The patio was also not updated with fresh plants. The coffee and danish in the morning were also lacking. We were told that the bar is closed Sunday and Monday, even though we paid a $30 resort fee to have access to a cocktail and appetizer each night. Overall, we were extremely disappointed with this hotel. The only real thing going for it was the DUMBO location and proximity to some attractions. There is a Hampton Inn by Hilton on the next corner. Wished we would have stayed there.

Recommended by a local you can’t go wrong Great food large portions and reasonably priced. Lots of choices we would eat there again. Recommended by a local.
