Smelly room, such that they set room temperature at 17 to control smell, broken sink, very small hair dryer and old furniture.... not recommend at all.

0/5 If we could! Checked in today only to find they closed the pool and they did it intentionally no notice that its closed not even thier site. Manger told us oh well. Only came cuz they had a pool and they won't give me a discount that is mandatory. They did last time at another location. Why not now? Avoid this awful place. Edit: When I booked my room in January there were no notices as this "manager" claims. Will be reporting this FOR FALSE ADVERTISEMENT

Our stay at the Fairmont Pacific Rim was, without question, the most exceptional luxury hotel experience I have ever had — and I have traveled extensively throughout Europe, the USA, Africa, and Asia. We stayed in a Gold Suite, and from the moment we arrived, every detail was flawless. The Gold experience felt truly elevated — private, refined, and thoughtfully curated. The restaurant was outstanding. We dined in a private room, the food was exceptional, and our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. The lounge and bar are stunning — trendy, beautifully designed, and vibrant — and again, the service was impeccable. The spa facilities are extraordinary. The hot tub, the hydrotherapy shower (absolutely to die for), and the spacious, spotless steam room created the most relaxing atmosphere. Everything throughout the hotel felt pristine, fresh, and meticulously maintained. One of the most thoughtful touches came Sunday morning when the concierge informed me they could arrange transportation to and from church. Not only did they provide a ride, but they also ensured I had bottled water for the journey. That level of service truly stands out. After church, I enjoyed breakfast overlooking the water — the view was breathtaking. The healthy, gluten-free options were excellent, and the cappuccino was perfection. When we checked out and valet brought our vehicle around, I was amazed to see that the inside of my car had been tidied and cleaned. It was such an unexpected and generous touch. Every element of our stay exceeded expectations. The Fairmont Pacific Rim sets the standard for luxury, service, and attention to detail. We are incredibly grateful for the experience and will absolutely be returning. Thank you for an unforgettable stay.

2 adults 1 baby. The hotel was very accomodating of our child and us. Arranging shuttle with car seat to/from airport, crib in the room amongst other things. Location was perfect, as I was in Vancouver for work. Room was beautiful (though a little dark) staff were all very friendly. Lobby restaurant was excellent.

$100 deposit on old fashioned keys!! Thin walls are thin and the nightclub is loud The staff smoke just past the door so a pleasant walk into the establishment through their smoke One set of towels in our room for 2 Blinds with light coming from all 4 sides in window but no curtains Not recommended!

1.) Extremely small room: -very small bed -zero place to move around -very small bathroom -people without perfect figure may not be able to enter the shower cubicle (it's that small) -extremely uncomfortable Mattress & oversized pillows 2.)Zero facility in the room -Hot water kettle or tea/coffee maker are the most basic things offered all over the world which weren't there in this hotel 3.) Useless reception -i was feeling feverish and needed medical attention, the reception didn't have basic meds like tylenol or basic things like a thermometer/balm etc. Also they had no clue about a doctor in the neighborhood who would be available 4.) breakfast -breakfast here is a mere scope compliance: Tea/coffee/milk Bread toast Cereals It's over ! Will never stay here again

10+ years ago this place was magical and in it's prime but our group was a bit disappointed, the pool was closed and not posted online to give you a heads up that it wasn't open. I paid over $100 at the spa for a gel pedicure yet 15 minutes later all the polished wiped off. We got "upgraded" to the same room we initially booked and were startled by the massive vomit stain outside the door. This was my 9th stay here over the spand of 15 years and sadly this will be the last time.

100% would recommend this hotel to someone wanting a short stay in Vancouver city. The staff and service are exceptional always catering to the guests needs. Our room each day was serviced beautifully, such an amazing house keeping team. The living room restaurant next door connected with the hotel is amazing too they have happy hour every day , live trivia nights and gorgeous tapas and dinner food options. The staff there are always very lovely. If I ever return to Vancouver I will 100% be staying here! Regards Lexie beauchamp

100pct amazing! We had the 2BR suite with a giant balcony overlooking the pool and restaurant below us. Kids had a blast, half block to Starbucks and a local grocer to cook food from our suites kitchen. Fantastic location easy walk to everything. Special thanks to Natalia at the front desk who went above and beyond to make our stay more comfortable. Bathrooms were wonderful, soap and shampoo provided was divine. Highly recommend staying here and we will be back soon!

You overbooked my room and took no responsibility. I booked a King Suite but was downgraded to a Junior Deluxe and told they were the same. They’re not. When I raised the issue, I was simply told nothing else was available. This was for getting ready on my wedding day, and I was left scrambling at the last minute to find another hotel the day before. The hotel offered zero help; no alternative room and no effort to rebook me elsewhere. For a hotel of this calibre, that level of service is shocking. To make matters worse, when we walked into Junior Deluxe, the space felt outdated and mismatched, and even the corridor leading to the room set a disappointing tone. It was a stark contrast to the photos online, and honestly quite shocking to walk into. Overall, an extremely poor experience with virtually nonexistent customer service. I feel compelled to warn others so they don’t face the same situation I did especially if you plan for a special event. Do NOT count on these guys.

Was easy to get to and check in/park. I kept hearing band music every few minutes for about 20 seconds.. on the 12th floor. Found a grape on the floor. Very dusty. There is no fridge or microwave in the room......... haven't checked our the pool yet I'm sure it will be fine for my child and as long as the hot tubs working hot enough and not filled with old men in spedos that will be the highlight.

We arrived in Vancouver after staying in Whistler for a week. I was informed by a friend that North Vancouver was the best place to stay. Seaside Hotel was right in the area. I was a bit lost on how to get inside but when we figured that out it was a complete escape. The people were so friendly and helpful. They were quick at loading up our stuff to our room. Mark spent the extra time explaining the light switches, the taps and all the items the room came with. The cleaning staff the next day were all smiling and welcoming and despite the fact we said we didn’t need the bed made, they were still offering any help needed that they were there. This place is a great location and I would highly recommend
