2 stars. first time at chipotle and the workers were to fast and gave me beans when i didn’t want them. the drink machine had no ice so all the drinks were warm. the food was spicy and i asked for the no spice. the store was very loud and the tables were not cleaned well. would not recommend
4.5ish. New Guu, modernized atmosphere not typical of dark grungy bar vibe. Above Average: Chicken Karaage, size and portion. Good flavours: pork cheeks, beef tartare, fried rice. Average: ebi mayo, Salmon tuna roll, takoyaki, fried cauliflower. Heavy: modern okonomiyaki, bit too much going on there. Boring: edamame. Sake: dirty serving cups. Good service.
As soon as you walk in, you see how dirty everything is there’s garbage laid out everywhere on the floor on the tables the drinks such as the lemonades are empty, and the food is cold .
Absolutely loved this pizza! 🍕🔥 The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, with that delicious wood-fired flavor. The toppings were generous and fresh, and the cheese was melted just right. Every bite was balanced and full of flavor. The place itself is clean and welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the service was quick. Plus, the music created a great vibe without being too loud. Definitely coming back!
A lovely spot for a conversation over delicious fare from a small curated menu. Clean, comfortable, central. Tables are far apart enough to have a conversation without overhearing the chat at the next table. Good food and great service too.
Absolutely amazing experience! The food was delicious and fresh, the service was fantastic, and the place was super clean. The prices are very reasonable, and the owner/staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. I’m so happy with everything and will come back again for sure.
A few weeks ago we had brunch at Ancora Ambleside and loved it; unfortunately, our dinner experience at Ancora False Creek did not compare. When entering the restaurant, there was a large party happening to our right, in the downstairs dining room, and while the hostess was friendly, we were crowded into a tiny space on a dirty piece of carpet, while we waited for at least 10 minutes to be taken upstairs for dinner. We were not prepared to have dinner upstairs as the room has absolutely no ambience. This, unfortunately, negatively impacted our entire evening as the food for the most part was nicely presented and quite tasty, but the environment totally ruined the evening. When making a reservation at this restaurant be sure to request seating in the dining room downstairs. We really should have been informed that we would be required to sit upstairs, overlooking a private party downstairs.
Although it’s just a Korean restaurant, you wanna expect a bit of customer service. But it’s waaaaay too lower than the average. 1- they messed up customers’ waiting list orders. 2 - takes forever to even just coming to take orders, or offering water. 3 - food wasn’t good at all. 4 - when they cleaned up our table, a waiter guy said this in our face... “ Hey man, can you pass me the big A$$ plate”. Well, suckiest experience EVER. Wasted money.
An awful matridee who didn’t seat us for 10 mins, whilst she set a table in an empty restaurant. She slammed the please wait here sign down in front of us, when we were sick of waiting and went to the bar to order a drink. We were then told we couldn’t sit in the part of the restaurant that had great views as it was ‘reserved for staff breaks’. Awful hygiene habits as her long hair continued to drape over people’s cutlery whilst she set tables, should have been tied back. Honestly an awful experience as our last leaving Canada, when everyone else had been so great, a disgrace to your country.
.......but the really "special" reveals itself when you go to the restrooms / toilets in the basement - here art hangs on the walls, there is a cozy sitting area and everything very, very clean and stylish (if you say that you can infer the cleanliness in the kitchen from the toilets, then this restaurant should have a unique selling point). Very nice service in addition to two very tasty and rich bowls (incl. drinks) for approx. 60 CAD - always happy to return! Restaurant is less than 500 meters next to the Broadway-City-Hall metro station and is therefore easily accessible without a car.
A M a Z I N G !!! Excellent waiter- excellent vibe - but the food the taste...a nice clean restaurant, great service and this place was full when we were seated - full house - This place is a “m u s t “ visit and you will get lots of food so pace yourself.
A hidden gem! Every time we come here, the staff is so friendly, the food is delicious, the prices are fantastic! We came for breakfast and then back for dinner because it was so good! Lovely for couples, friends and families. Super clean and comfortable.

It's like going home to the Philippines. Very personable staff. Clean dine in experience. Got the Palabok Fiesta and chicken tenders combo. Son loves the chicken. Got some peach mango pie to go. The pineapple quencher is so pineappley.

Had a great view. Have been here several times. The young girls set next to me wearing a see through tiny skirts and a thong, a bra, high heels. I didn’t enjoy my meal. They were loud and stood for all to see ass. I felt uncomfortable they were there to shock all. Not to mention hygiene. I didn’t order a second drink.

We are regulars and ever time it is a very comfortable stay. The staff are all very pleasant, welcoming and helpful and our room was quiet and clean. We love to be able to bring our pet dog with us as well.
