071125 Summerlicious dinner: upon entering on a hot day, no AC simply a small ceiling fan for the entire place in very slow run hardly feel the coolness at all... greeted by a white Caucasian wait staff who seemed a tad tactless. For the meals, opted for: APP ~ PEI mussels the mussels were pretty small; sauce was mediocre and an absolute skimping bread which I find stale my opinion... MAIN ~ lamb shank flavourful yet not the best- meat still a tad tough... DESSERT ~ lava cake just scooped a spoonful more so the ice cream... I have had better ones. DRINKS ~ Black Orchid at $12.95 hmm could've gone to a proper restaurant downtown... drank more glasses of water with ice ~ had to ask twice for it... restaurant was poorly utterly hot...
1. After 5 phone calls from the staff, I was told by the supposed Manager that I could not get a table for 6 at 1 pm and another table of 6 ar 2 pm as promised. When I argued for 10 seconds, he threatened to cancel the reservation and escort me out of the restaurant. I would have walked out but I expected my friends. 2. The waiter was rude because he was getting 18% tip so he did not care how he treated us. It was my birthday and there was a restaurant birthday card on display. I had to ask him for my cake and he gave it to me in a box and shoved it into a bag and said, " Now you've got it you can leave". 3. The food was disgusting. My lobster omelet was tasteless and had 3 dime sized pieces of lobster. The French toast was half a loaf that was toasted all the way round but with no egg and tasted like a cinnamon roll and the inside was just plain white bread. What a joke. We should have returned those brunch items. And they were overpriced at over $30. I actually want a refund. I want the waiter fired. And the manager too. They can check my reservation under Monica Demsky. The Manager also made racist remarks. We also noted a lot of empty tables from 1 to 3 pm so we can't figure out what their problem with the tables.
Very slow service
2nd time visiting here and had to leave a review, on both visits wait staff was very professional and attentive to our table, frequently checking in on us and ensuring our needs were met. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the food.
2pc Spicy chicken spaghetti meal with pineapple juice is my favorite and I order it everytime I visit this place! I prefer the mango pie than the ube pie but both are good. Burger steak is better consumed while hot/warm, not recommended for takeout orders. Location is accessible and just few minutes walk from Eaton Center. Been there couple of times and noticed it is always busy anytime of the day. Cons is that the place is very cozy and only few tables available for dining, you have to wait for the next available to be seated. Staff are friendly and even told us we can still order at the front counter than queuing at the kiosk, which is located upon entry.
1 hour for food to arrive after we ordered. SHORT IN STAFF. They only had 1 table with people inside and 4 tables out and unbelievable how unorganized they seemed to be. The Waiters tried their hard but food was taking forever for everyone around and all we had a pizza, pasta with meat sauce and a sallat. I have worked in restaurants and believe me I could have handled all of the guests present in 35 minutes. Will not ever stop in this restaurant again
1 hour wait at 5 on a weekday. Food was nothing special. I agree with others that if you must have their food, take it to go and enjoy it at home.
17.3.2025 - 19:15 hrs. LA MALLORQUINA. PUERTA DEL SOL. MADRID. That you are excited to have a couple of "torrillas con crema" and the waiter (Andrés; in the living room), tells you that THERE IS NO, can be understood. But for us to order two cream-free torrijas, to be served to other tables and tell us they're done... it was amazing. I told him and those show him that his companions took them to other tables. As he looked caught he said: I'll see if they stay!. Therefore, it was not so certain that they were over. After 2 minutes: brought us 2 plates and 2 torrijas. He added: only these were left. We saw, during our time in the living room, that they were still serving torrijas... What was your problem?: THAT I HAD TO GO DOWNSTAIRS TO THE CAFETERIA/PAKERY AND UPSTAIRS WITH THE TURRETTES. (They must not have plates for torrijas). And I ask La Mallorquina again and ask myself: WHY IS THE STAFF SO UNLIKELY, WITH CUSTOMERS, ALWAYS?
After a lighthearted evening watching & Juliet, we made our way to Scaddabush for some Italian comfort food. All of EnD Adventures was together — our daughters, friends, and the two of us — which already set the tone for a memorable night out. Despite the restaurant being packed, we were seated quickly. Our server, Noah, stopped by early with menus and the nightly specials. It was clear the entire team was hustling; drinks took longer than usual, but Noah was doing everything he could to keep the pace. The space itself was a delight. Warm lighting, thoughtful décor, and those whimsical canned vegetables added a quirky charm that made the room feel inviting and full of character. There was always something interesting to notice. The fresh mozzarella — their signature — absolutely lived up to its reputation. Creamy, rich, and beautifully prepared, it was easily the standout of the table. Our meals arrived hot and exactly as ordered, and everyone enjoyed their choices. The only real downside was the long gaps between check-ins for drink refills or questions. With several large tables nearby and the restaurant buzzing, it was understandable, though still noticeable. All in all, it was a lovely evening, and we’d happily return — perhaps to a quieter location next time, just to see how the service feels when the pace isn’t quite so intense. Had such a great St. Paddy’s celebration here! 🍀 We came with a table of 10 and everything was fantastic — delicious food, great drinks, and amazing service even though it was busy. The atmosphere was fun and lively, making it the perfect spot to celebrate. Can’t wait to come back! 🍻

I found this place just in time—my phone was almost dead! The staff were incredibly kind and seated me at the bar so I could charge it. While my phone powered up, I enjoyed a delicious “Criminale” pizza that absolutely hit the spot. The surprise drink and the lovely music made the whole experience truly special. Definitely a one-of-a-kind visit—I’ll be back!

We recently had dinner at 360 Restaurant in the CN Tower in downtown Toronto. My husband had reserved a romantic table by the window and arranged a small extra with champagne and strawberries, which we appreciated. The table location was nice, but it’s worth noting that the restaurant slowly rotates. If you have a sensitive balance system, this movement could potentially cause motion sickness. We were first served a small plate of melon wrapped in prosciutto, which was pleasant but quite minimal. The menu itself was somewhat difficult to navigate. For starters, my husband ordered the grilled octopus and I chose the beef tartare. The octopus was good and well prepared. Unfortunately, the beef tartare was disappointing. Instead of a typical tartare texture, it resembled finely ground beef and was presented as a flat, round patty—almost like a small pancake. It was not something I would recommend. For the main course we both ordered the Nova Scotia lobster. You can choose either half (65 CAD) or a whole lobster (125 CAD), and we both chose the whole lobster. Based on the price and description, we expected something more substantial than simply being served one large lobster each. The final bill came to over 400 CAD, which felt very disappointing considering the overall experience. We were honestly left without words. For comparison, we have dined at places like Joey’s and The Keg where a steak and lobster combination costs around 60 CAD, with a lobster add-on of about 25 CAD. In those cases, the value for money felt far better. While the view from the CN Tower is certainly unique, the food quality and overall value did not match the price in our experience.

Great location and although we went when dark, the view was lovely over the harbour. Very busy, we’d booked ahead and were seated promptly. Quite noisy and dark (we’d to use the table candle to see the menu!). Excellent food and great service.
