Amazing location, just minutes from both Rogers Arena & BC Place. Maybe a 5-10 minute walk to either Expo or Millennium line Skytrains so super easy to get to pretty much anywhere in Vancouver. Staff was great, super helpful and friendly on check-in. My room was actually available well before check-in time (check in at 4, I was there around 1:30-2PMish), which given I arrived in Vancouver early was amazing. General vibe of the place is an upscale feel. There's a Moxies right next door and the Shark Club around the corner with many other similar options within a block. My room though was tiny & really basic. Wifi was fine (occasionally my laptop took a sec to reconnect, but no notable issues otherwise). TV was terrible, it's a Samsung smart TV so looked nice enough & good size, but wasn't connected to the network so I couldn't cast anything to it. It's in a recessed mount, so couldn't plug in a HDMI cable to use my own device instead. So really only basic cable and nothing else. View was nonexistent as I was on the 2nd floor so all I could see out my single window was a glimpse of BC Place in the distance (see photo). Other amenities in the room were bar fridge, microwave, tiny coffee maker. No corkscrew, wine glasses, etc, just a couple plastic cups. Maybe was just the room I happened to be in (standard queen room south tower), but overall was little disappointed with the room. Not particularly bad, but very very basic and felt a little dim and cramped. Good place to stay if solo travelling, or want to stay close to the arena to walk to go see the Canucks or Lions.
Arrived midday and Ansa was kind enough to allow an early check in. Rooms are clean and show some wear. Rooms have a kitchen with Mircowave, Stove, fridge and coffee also have plates cultery etc. Location has many restaurants and supermarket 2 blocks away. Also hotel has limited car parking. Wifi was a bit sus at times.
As many other reviewers have mentioned, this hotel is old. But the cons outweighed the pros for us. I don’t plan to come back here. These were the issues we had with our room: - wifi sporadic and unpredictable - Dishwasher doesn’t work half the time - One of the kitchen outlets didn’t work - We had two bed rooms two bathrooms. One of the showers was ridiculously hard to adjust the temperature. It was either burning hot or too cold. Everyone in our hotel room ended up using the other shower. - Our bedroom didn’t have outlets close to the bed, therefore we charged our phone by the door and had to physically get out of bed to turn off our iPhone alarms. - You really cannot put the room key in the same pocket as your phone or credit cards. Do it once and your key is no good. - There is a fireplace, but they only let you put the duraflame type of log in there for safety reasons. That log doesn’t get super hot, so I don’t see much value in using the fireplace (unless you really want the visual effect…?). Only good things: - dogs allowed - Room is old but clean - Had most of the appliances we needed and gave us extra bowls when we asked - Location is nice (but no good views from our room).
A little further from the city than I would have liked, but great for the price. The average nightly rate was about C$440 for 5 nights in July and the room came with everything we needed. We spent the first night in a double queen that came with a kitchenette (two-seater table, hot plate, dishes) and the rest of the stay was in a king room. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room had air conditioning and a mini-fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. The lounge downstairs had an automatic espresso maker and bottle filler, the espresso was pretty good and free which makes it great. The street noise is loud, but the room was relatively quiet; there's a courtyard in the middle with relaxing splashing water fountains and the wifi was super fast. The general manager, Nur, was super nice and very helpful in the room change process. Free parking available in a lot in front of the entrance.
A truly wonderful stay! My partner and I absolutely loved our time at Sonder Revival. The check-in process through the app was a breeze — super smooth and convenient. The apartment itself was beautifully appointed, spotless, and thoughtfully designed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Every interaction we had with staff was friendly and genuine, which made the experience even better. The location is unbeatable — connected to a mall, surrounded by fantastic restaurants and services, and just a short walk from Stanley Park. All around, a five-star experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Vancouver — you’ll love it here!

Had booked a double room for 7 nights mid-September 2017. Hotel is 15 minutes walk from nearest subway ( Joyce Collingwood ), part uphill. A small hotel with ground and first floor ; probably 20 odd rooms in total. Complimentary parking in the basement. External look of the hotel is unappealing being on the main road(Kingsway); reception is small but presentable. Were checked into a large room which was dull. Room had 2 Queen beds as the only room available at the time. Dark brown furniture, walls, carpet and curtains. A free standing air conditioner, no wardrobe. Room smelt musty and had large window at the busy main road level hence lacked privacy. No kettle, but a coffee percolator, which was inadequate for boiling water for tea. Bathroom though small had been renovated recently; had a clean and fresh feel. Staff applied air freshener on request. Next morning we asked to be moved. A similar room overlooking the side road was available with a slightly better colour scheme and new fitted wardrobe area. Reception agreed to move us and offered to see if a kettle was available. When it wasn't, and after mentioning it again, they kindly provided one on the 3rd day. We felt more settled after that. Wifi in 2nd room was good and cleaning reasonable. Points to bear in mind. This is a basic hotel. Rooms are large, colour scheme varies from room to room but furniture is the same and outdated. Bathrooms all appear to have been renovated. Very comfortable beds with nice white linen. The hotel is quiet, reception and cleaning staff are very polite and helpful. Nearby are a Safeway supermarket, mainly Vietnamese and Chinese restaurants, pizza take aways and a laundrette. Overall we found the area to be safe with good transport links. However since hotel is not in downtown Vancouver, we consider the hotel overpriced, given rooms need updating.
2 elevators were always broken and out of service. Only 2 were working but had to wait an average of 5-10minutes everytime we needed to use the elevator. Wifi is never fast average speed was 3 Mbps. If you wanted to do a video call, impossible. Youtube and Netflix was painful to watch because of the lack of internet speed. Since the hotel is close to the hospital ambulance sirens on for 24x7.
A convenient downtown condo-hotel with secure underground parking, laundry in suite, well-stocked kitchen, fireplace, media centre, and fitness centre/pool access across the street. The location is central but the neighbourhood is noisy at night. WIFI is an extra fee. The unit was comfortable but too hot with the thermostats turned down. Having the windows open was noisy.
A class service. Location is very accessible. Their location is in kingsway where everything is there. Me and my wife love their rooms. Clean and comfortable. Free parking, free wifi, polite and friendly staff. Handra is very nice. Beautiful and clean hotel.
A quiet gem in downtown Vancouver. Strong and stable wifi, plenty of restaurants and nightspots within walking distance, Skytrain is only a 3 minute walk away. They just started a simple free breakfast during my stay that isn't advertised yet, so that's cool. Neighbourhood is a little sketchy at night, but not a problem as long as you are vigilant about your surroundings. Not a party hostel, best for those looking for a chill place.
A tired hotel, with less than helpful reception, an expensive and slow restaurant in the premises. Room was clean, WiFi ok. Only car repair garages in the area. Many better options around particularly in the town of Richmond. Any place you want to reach from this hotel you will need a car.

This hotel location is perfectly located in downtown for attending any event at BC place, Rogers Arena or other downtown central activities. Stayed here for a business conference event this week but have used their paid parking lot several times over the years for attending events nearby and at the Shark Club and Moxie's in the building. The best part of this hotel after the overall location is that Shark Club, great experience always. It had been years since I have been down but it was even better than I remembered. Lively, great service, and good food. The hotel room itself was small but cozy with everything you need done pretty well. My only complaints would be the clothing iron / stand setup being awkwardly assembled with a piece of foam that kept falling off during use. The washroom sink was so tiny it's very difficult to use without splashing water on the floor and the TV isn't synced to internet so it kept giving an error that you couldn't cast from your phone, use Netflix, and the only live TV option was an audio only channel. This feedback aside I would definitely stay here again and for the prime location it's a decent value too. I had a standard room for the 1 night business event but perhaps an upgrade to a suite would solve some of these pain points.

The stay here in Fairmont is going really nicely so far. Did the hotel tour with David today and learnt so many cool background stories and history! I’m very appreciative that I got to learn a lot about this hotel, and I feel like I connected a lot with this place. It was a very memorable and one of a kind experience ✨thank you David!!!

The Parker Hotel earned all 5 stars. After staying at most of the 3–4 star hotels in downtown Vancouver, I think this might be my new favorite. First off, I called ahead to ask for a favor, an early check-in (about one hour), and when I arrived, not only was the check-in process smooth, but my room was ready early. I was even given the option of a room with a view or one facing the back for added privacy. I chose a fourth-floor room tucked away at the back of the hotel. The room had a very unique layout, was super clean, and well-appointed, with floor-to-ceiling windows, quality window coverings, and really nice quality furniture. It was also very quiet, smelled amazing, and even included a fully stocked mini fridge. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to check out the amenities, so I’ll save that for next time. My only (very minor) piece of feedback: I really dislike when hotels require passwords for Wi-Fi. It feels unnecessary and can be frustrating when you’re tired and scrambling to find your key card holder, especially when the code isn't even written on the holder and you have to call the front desk because you forgot what the young man working reception said 8 hours prior. Wi-Fi was also very slow and ended up using my hotspot. The neighborhood is safe and centrally located, but it can be a bit confusing to navigate. It’s surrounded by high-end condo buildings, and while grocery stores are about a block and a half away, there aren’t any convenience stores in the immediate area. Overall, exceeded my expectations and will be back for sure.

In Vancouver for a conference, I didn't want to pay or stay at a big corporate hotel. I booked a room with bath, and even so it was reasonably priced. Scrupulously clean, traditional decor, supportive bed, warm radiators but also an AC/heat unit. Robe and slippers, toiletries, strong Wifi, lighting options for work or sleep. Didn't have to buy expensive breakfast, since there was coffee in the lobby in the mornings, and both an IGA and H-Mart with Monet bakery steps away. The neighborhood has fancy places such as Glowbal (too rich for me), but within the same block you also find Japa-Dog and Jinya Ramen Bar, so no trouble dining on a budget. The hotel restaurant had a 15% discount for guests, and seemed reasonably popular. Across the street Medina drew a long line for Sunday brunch. Location was brilliant--less than five minutes to the Vancouver City Centre SkyTrain stop, which is 25 minutes from the airport. My conference was at the Convention Centre, a 20 minute walk up a slight hill, perfect for clearing the cobwebs in the morning. I walked back at nearly midnight safely (it is a city, so avoid empty streets late at night). But there's plenty of posh streets to come by. The hotel staff kept close watch on the door after hours when it's locked for safety. They kept my luggage until evening for me on the last day. I didn't try the sauna or the laundry room, but this hotel checks all the boxes for comfort, convenience, and charm, while keeping your other expenses down.
