"We are regular customers at this restaurant, but our latest visit was very disappointing due to the service we received. Our server, Kegan, was noticeably rude. He walked away in the middle of taking our order and consistently ignored our table, while engaging extensively with other guests. We felt disrespected and the treatment was very unfair and discriminatory.
"We’ve been coming here for many years, and it's sad to see the place falling apart. They changed the door locks without informing anyone. The rooms are in serious need of repairs, and the reception staff hasn’t been helpful."
**Terrible Experience – Do Not Recommend!** I had a really disappointing experience at Musa Restaurant. First off, the *rise* (rice) was incredibly oily, which made it hard to even eat. The *boolani* tasted like it was from the day before—dry and stale. To top it off, they completely *missed my kebab* order, which was super frustrating. I tried calling multiple times to resolve the issue, but *nobody picked up the phone*. Honestly, it feels like they’re just scamming people. Definitely will not be coming back!
Great food and service
Great service
Absolutely loved this pizza! 🍕🔥 The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, with that delicious wood-fired flavor. The toppings were generous and fresh, and the cheese was melted just right. Every bite was balanced and full of flavor. The place itself is clean and welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the service was quick. Plus, the music created a great vibe without being too loud. Definitely coming back!
Had booked a double room for 7 nights mid-September 2017. Hotel is 15 minutes walk from nearest subway ( Joyce Collingwood ), part uphill. A small hotel with ground and first floor ; probably 20 odd rooms in total. Complimentary parking in the basement. External look of the hotel is unappealing being on the main road(Kingsway); reception is small but presentable. Were checked into a large room which was dull. Room had 2 Queen beds as the only room available at the time. Dark brown furniture, walls, carpet and curtains. A free standing air conditioner, no wardrobe. Room smelt musty and had large window at the busy main road level hence lacked privacy. No kettle, but a coffee percolator, which was inadequate for boiling water for tea. Bathroom though small had been renovated recently; had a clean and fresh feel. Staff applied air freshener on request. Next morning we asked to be moved. A similar room overlooking the side road was available with a slightly better colour scheme and new fitted wardrobe area. Reception agreed to move us and offered to see if a kettle was available. When it wasn't, and after mentioning it again, they kindly provided one on the 3rd day. We felt more settled after that. Wifi in 2nd room was good and cleaning reasonable. Points to bear in mind. This is a basic hotel. Rooms are large, colour scheme varies from room to room but furniture is the same and outdated. Bathrooms all appear to have been renovated. Very comfortable beds with nice white linen. The hotel is quiet, reception and cleaning staff are very polite and helpful. Nearby are a Safeway supermarket, mainly Vietnamese and Chinese restaurants, pizza take aways and a laundrette. Overall we found the area to be safe with good transport links. However since hotel is not in downtown Vancouver, we consider the hotel overpriced, given rooms need updating.
We planned a family dinner at Dockside in lieu of our sons upcoming wedding. This would be our first visit to Dockside and based primarily on the fact that there is a lovely patio that frequently passed . We reserved a patio well in advance. Gamily would be coming a long way and with a small baby, outside would be ideal. At 2 pm on the day, staff phoned to inform us that the patio would be closed due to the rain. It was too late and complicated to alter 6 people’s schedules. The huge room where we sat was hot, stuffy & noisy. No air conditioning. When asking about turning on the fan, they said " door was open. " Food was disappointing & unimaginative with limited menu items for non meat eaters. Macaroni & cheese! Mussels were skimpy & small portions of halibut decorated with a few peas & potato pops, left all of us leaving hungry. The place was packed. Baby and I, overwhelmed by the noise, spent half the time outside on the now dry patio. Service was mediocre. We repeatedly needed to request water refills although I watched a waiter at an adjacent table actually pour water for guests! Certainly not conducive to the experience we anticipated and at a hefty price. We're always willing to pay for atmosphere, sumptious food and a relaxing meal. While we understand challenges restaurants have faced, this is over the top. Particularly on such a special occasion. Rain does happen & many patios remain open. We returned home to eat some food.
$100 deposit on old fashioned keys!! Thin walls are thin and the nightclub is loud The staff smoke just past the door so a pleasant walk into the establishment through their smoke One set of towels in our room for 2 Blinds with light coming from all 4 sides in window but no curtains Not recommended!
Back again for another group dinner with six people. The food here is really good and our table enjoyed many dishes. The service is excellent. The only thing about this restaurant is that is is noisy with all the conversations around you so it can be difficult to her your own talking.
I love the good old Stephos and my love will stay the same. Friends took me couple of times for hangouts/dinner and my another friend A and I used to go here after class. I went here with A around 12 ish (last Saturday) and thank God, there was no line up there. I remember back in 2010 or 2011 I was one of many people in line waiting to dine here during dinners. I think the lineup might be busy even the dinner time nowadays. Stephos haven't changed while last time (few years back) we had to wait long for food. My buddy A and I ordered Roast Lamb ($17.95) it was tender that meat fell off the bones. So yummy! Roast Lamb sure is the best thing off the menu. I love my food with dipping sauce, so I ordered Tzaziki ($1) on the side it was good. Pita bread was good as well. It was hard to find server when we decided to order; however, our server was friendly and helpful. If you're unsure of what else to order Youvetsi, Kalamari and Souvlaki on the menu are all good. I never tried anything beside the two and Chicken Souvlaki, my only gripe is the lamb seems to look smaller than before. Otherwise everything was just perfect.
My room was a 1 bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, not just a hotel room. Very good value for the price, especially considering how very expensive Vancouver is. Asna provided a great check in and check out experience and was very helpful.

Was there for dinner on Friday Night March 20th, wasnt packed. Still tons of seats for customers. Took them 15 minutes just to serve us. Water. Got our food. Had few rolls, didnt come with ginger or wasabi even tho everyone else had ginger and wasabi? Unless you have to ask for it? I think its pretty normal for them to just add it to the plate. As far as service went, it was probably the worst that I had experienced in Downtown Vancouver yet. Our service was too busy occupied talking to either other customers or one of his friends which was a female. So we ended up finishing our food and waiting another 20 minutes before our server came up to our table and cleaned up. Then got our bills. He still mistakenly gave me the wrong bill, either he just wasnt fully there on shift. I also noticed a party of 6 right beside us. They had also asked the same exact waiter that we were dealing with over 3 times just for the bill. Keep forgetting or once again occupied on just chatting. Wasnt a good experience and won't be back for awhile until I do get a message from the owner from the business or some sort of compensation. Regardless of that, very unsatisfied by the lack of awareness from the staff and just honestly kinda ruined my mood right after. Wasnt a happy camper.. Other then that food was good but you're gonna be paying the usual Vancouver price as you'd expect. Pricey but food.

Delicious food! Will come back here again very soon. Our servers were Alex and Jason and they gave us fantastic service throughout our entire dinner, thank you so much!

Stayed for a work conference, the rooms were clean and well kept. Everything we needed was within walking distance. The only downside was that we couldn't get room service. We had to go downstairs to get coffee or food. Otherwise 10/10!

We arrived in Vancouver after staying in Whistler for a week. I was informed by a friend that North Vancouver was the best place to stay. Seaside Hotel was right in the area. I was a bit lost on how to get inside but when we figured that out it was a complete escape. The people were so friendly and helpful. They were quick at loading up our stuff to our room. Mark spent the extra time explaining the light switches, the taps and all the items the room came with. The cleaning staff the next day were all smiling and welcoming and despite the fact we said we didn’t need the bed made, they were still offering any help needed that they were there. This place is a great location and I would highly recommend
