*ABSOLUTELY NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL* complete lie to call this a 4 star hotel room. Do not be catfished by the photos of the rooms or the updated lobby, it looks nothing like this. At best this deserves a 2 star similar to a Motel 6 or Econo Lodge. Very dirty, stains all over the floor, some poorly bleached and discolored and some not addressed at all. Old dirty curtains. Bathroom looks like a locker room. The toilet is being held up with a random block of wood. The bath tub takes 10 min to drain after a 5 minute shower. *** UPDATE *** They also charged me an extra 41 dollars. No description just showed up after my stay. This place is a scam.

A lot of people are complaining about the stains on the carpet but it isn't a huge deal. I'd recommend the management invest in cleaning the carpets since that seems to be the most common compliant. The other thing is the carpets are a light color such makes it more obvious compared to other hotels. Also the wifi is pretty spotty, the other person staying with me also had the same issue. Staff and service was friendly and nice. The only thing is the location is in a pretty sketchy area, lots of homeless. You can't blame the hotel though, if you want a reasonably priced hotel in downtown San Francisco, it's simply the reality you're going to be surrounded by homeless. The rest of San Francisco was really beautiful so it balances out.

A Warm Welcome to the USA at Hotel Fiona! As a first-time visitor to the United States, We couldn't have asked for a better introduction than our stay at Hotel Fiona in San Francisco. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed – and a big part of that was thanks to Erika, our wonderful host. Erika went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable, safe, and informed. She was incredibly friendly and helpful, taking time to answer my questions about the area, give local tips, and recommend nearby restaurants and attractions that weren’t just tourist traps. Her kindness really set the tone for the whole trip. The hotel itself is charming, clean, and well-located – close enough to walk to many key spots in the city, but still in a peaceful neighborhood. Room was cozy, well-kept, and had everything we needed. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like great coffee and tea in the morning and the quiet, restful atmosphere after a day of sightseeing. As someone experiencing the USA for the first time, I felt genuinely cared for here. Hotel Fiona, and Erika in particular, helped make my trip memorable in the best possible way. Highly recommend to anyone visiting San Francisco – especially if it's your first time in the States!

"mini bar" was missing a milky way when i arrived; despite my having immediately alerted hotel staff upon my discovery of said missing milky way, I nevertheless discovered a $3.25 charge tacked sneakily onto my bill! room wasn't clean enough, the duvet needed to be removed from service because of staining; nothing impressive here except for the photographer's ability to make dingy and lower than expected ceiling feel bright and airy! . when i checked in (for a single night stay), i requested a late checkout. the hotel obliged, although i don't understand why the guest after me in the queue was told 1230 while i was told 12 was the latest possible time available. besides this, the staff were all quite friendly and down to earth. i had an incredibly disappointing experience with the hotel manager. Under-confident as the leader of a workplace, the manager here claims their authority over others by putting them down. He was immature, disrespectful, expressed a contempt for guests as burdens, and called me names while attempting to save face while reversing a surcharge on my bill despite his initial insistence that he would not. Onlooking staff remained courteous but quiet, not wanting to get dragged into the manager's fit of frustration. I made a valid request, was right to have done so, and was met with the manager's attempt to steamroll me while making false/unfounded claims regarding my moral fibre. The hotel didn't need 3 people working, anyhow. I would fire the manager and promote the girl who checked me, since she demonstrated good understanding of hotel operations and intuitive understanding of guest requests. If you are looking for a bed and a shower and single serve pumpkin pie flavor coffeemate creamers and you want a cheap room with bad natural light, then this is your place! tldr; half star for the decent cable channel selection (which includes SHOWTIME~!) gets rounded up to one star.

$103 to valet your car. Absurd! This place seems more fit for conferences. Lots of homeless and drugs in this area. Very dirty. Plus everything is expensive as hell. No pool and they charge you a $30 destination charge and offer you a $30 credit for food and beverage. I drink at The View lounge is $24, so a couple has to spend $60 to get that credit. FYI, Ubers have a $35 minimum charge here.

** LEAK ** ** HIDDEN TAX ** Already disastrous welcome the staff has the extremely unpleasant welcome , really average room for the price cleaning done to motivate it cleanliness to review + deposit of $80 per night in the hotel refund 1 month after + $32 per night tax to add to the room and the worst the parking advertised at $75 per day all tax included and at the time of Check out it asks you $10 tax to add far too much tax cache I do not recommend this hotel at all after a 28 day road trip these really the worst hotel we have made I do not recommend at all only possible point the location.

Perfect location to cruise port. Room was updated and clean. The ergonomics of the room was not the most efficient for our purpose. That would be chaise lounge under mounted tv etc. Close to restaurants and China town. Price was right. Would stay again Rooms5.0

Good hotel with perfect location located at the center city., clean and comfortable, good customer service. Shops, restaurants, bars are within walking distance. A very nice added touch to have a hot coffee, tea and hot chocolate all day. We had an easy and comfortable stay.

Would not recommend. To start I’ll say the one nice thing and that is the lobby looks quite nice. But there is a reason so many of the photos are of the lobby because that is the only nice part. We stayed for a couple nights last week in a king room to start with I always look at the bed before we use it in every hotel and this one the comforter was absolutely disgusting with stains all over it and one of the pillows were dirty. I will include a photo. Also we were on the 5th floor and all of a sudden on our second day there the elevator had a note (only on the first floor no other floors) that it was out of service. The funny part is that the elevator inspection was extremely past due and we were talking about it right before this note went up. There was then a weird service elevator that we found out we could use and that inspection expired in 2021! (I got a pic of the main elevator not the other) we even ran into another guest who made the joke “we all thought the hotel was nicer than this right?” Because seriously do they make it look way nicer than it is. Outside of this hotel the sidewalk is covered in literal poop and front desk was no help in finding any parking. Very loud inside room but it’s San Fran. And HOT no ac and it was roasting inside the room. Take my advice and stay somewhere else.

Rooms are noisy. Bed was clean, shared restroom and bathroom, bar below the hotel. No lifts, not for wheelchair accessibility. Carry your own luggage yourself upstairs

Terrible hotel. Rooms are small, dark, dirty, non-functional... no place to store clothes. The carpet in the entry was stained and dirty and set the tone. The restaurant staff was amazing was the only highlight.
