A dirty hall in the wall... that is the best way I can describe it. The place is dirty and messy, and the attendant has a disheveled appearance too. After a visit to the bathroom to clean my hands prior to eating, I wanted to bail out eating there because it was a mess everywhere and nothing looked clean or organized. However, we had paid for the food already. I went with my sister yesterday because the website made it look like a decently clean place with very good food, but it turned out to be microwave reheated food. Fake, misleading images of the food. I had a chicken shawarma wrap and it look nothing like the pictures on the website. There was no green leafy lettuce or slices of tomato and fresh onions in it. It was some sort of chicken stew he got out of a crock pot and put it in a tortilla, then toasted the tortilla on a griddle- that was it. It was not serve on a white plate either. It was served on a plastic "fish and chips" red basket. The menu was also different, listing different ingredients for the same meal items on the website. I had the most deceiving dining experience and do not recommend this place. The only reason I give it 2 stars is because the food did not make me sick in any way; however, a very deceiving place.

After countless neighbors sang Montesacro’s praises, my partner and I arrived with sky‑high expectations. Sadly, the evening never climbed beyond middling, and a few missteps sent it tumbling well below average. What we ordered Porchetta 4 / 5 Nicely seasoned, juicy, good crackling—easily the best bite of the night. Pinsa “Grottaferrata” 2 / 5 Arrived lukewarm and dripping oil; toppings felt flat. Pinsa “Ponte Mammolo” 2 / 5 Same temperature and grease issues. Olive‑oil flavor absent, crust lacked the airy lightness pinsa is known for. Strawberry Tiramisu (off‑menu “special”) 2 / 5 No espresso‑soaked ladyfingers, just strawberry cream with chocolate chips. Portion: one small square. Price: $20—hard to view as anything but a gouge. (We both felt queasy after dinner.) Service & Hygiene Our server was friendly but repeatedly wiped tables with a bare hand, then handled plates and the POS screen without washing. That alone took the shine off the evening. Most desserts fall between $6‑15, so the surprise $20 tiramisu stung. The pinsas, though generously sized, didn’t justify their mid‑$20s price tags given the execution. Pro tip: Skip Stevenson Street between 5th & 6th on foot; the alley’s smell and hazards can sour an already mediocre evening. Overall rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2 / 5)

(4.5 rounding up) We walked in to a clean space that you could def eat in at. The man at the cash register was super kind and friendly. He gave us some tea while we waited for the food which did take a tad longer than I expected bc no one else ordered before us visually but then 2 people came by for the their pick up orders so we will do that next time. Husband got the plate and I got the wrap for chicken shawarma and it was good! Not better than my own imo haha but it actually does taste like 85% similar. It’s partially on us bc we did take out and had to run an errand before we could eat so it was a tad soggy and it had a slight spice to it I didn’t care for but for reference I don’t even like black pepper so take that statement with a grain of salt (pun unintended). I will def come again and order the same thing but maybe request to not have all the extra stuff inside bc as a Lebanese I prefer my shawarma with as minimal things inside as possible. I was also definitely missing my pickled turnips 😩

A bar and restaurant in celebration of amaro?! Yes please! The space itself is minimal and contemporary, airy and clean, with a great soundtrack! I of course got a Manhattan, my favorite and all the food was delish! I’d love to go back for a tasting!

A beautiful and special, not to mention delicious and well serviced establishment. I went for the happy hour beer and apps, (btw, very fairly priced) and I was not disappointed by the service, ambiance or quality taste and presentation of food at all. The tables and chairs were nice and clean. The floor didn't stick to your shoes. The service was fast. The music was good. The waiter and service and food was really great. Also their were not to many people there on the Friday at 6pm when I went. Definitely a 5/5 star place that I'm going back too again.

Absolutely awful! Having flown in from London earlier that day, we were very excited to have a fabulous supper and evening at SUR, however, we were EXTREMELY disappointed by the restaurant’s service, cleanliness and food. In fact, we all reached the conclusion that our microwaved space food on our 11 hour flight was a luxury in compared to the cold lasagnes that we were served and the “Cesar salad” that was a pile of gem lettuce topped off with some very salty breadcrumbs. Completely overpriced! Whilst the staff are friendly, they add to the red light/brothel feel of the place. Nothing about this restaurant lives up to expectation and I would strongly advise that nobody goes out of their way to visit this “establishment”.

First clue: Filthy menu How can this place get such high reviews? I ordered Penang Curry $19.95 . When asked “what protein?” I didn’t want one as I am vegetarian and I find no nutrition value or taste in tofu. But the waiter pushed the tofu in be by saying” crispy tofu” or whatever so I figured there be a few bits I could ignore and I would eat the vegetables. I got a huge pile of white rice plus a bowl of the Panang which was almost nothing but tofu. There were 3 slivers of green bell and a couple of red slivers. That was it. The sauce had flavor so I just ate sauce soaked rice .

Fresh Sushi I’ve been to Sugarfish many times, but this was my first time at this location. As usual, the fish was incredibly fresh and high quality. I love their omakase style menus, you really can’t go wrong with any of them. The service was very attentive, the restaurant was clean, and like the other locations, gratuity is already included in the bill. I’ll definitely be back.
