"The first Fresh place I had been that does not have croissants (they are in the menu but when I order it, the croquet was on regular bread. The service is pretty slow and very basic. To make it worse the bill has a $10 kitchen free, this is not o specified anywhere."

"Experience in a 2-star restaurant in New York – Dinner on March 15 We dined at this 2-star restaurant on Sunday evening, March 15, on the occasion of our wedding anniversary. As soon as we arrived, we were surprised by the very cold temperature of the room: the air conditioning was on in the middle of winter, which made the moment uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the service fell far short of what you would expect from a 2-star hotel. Indeed, the Rank Chief left the room mid-duty; we were told that this was due to the excessive cost of keeping all staff in the room all evening — a very surprising situation in this type of facility. Moreover, at no time during the meal did anyone come to ensure that everything was going well at our table. As for the course of the dinner, we felt as if we were being pushed towards the exit: from the pre-dessert, a waiter started tidying up the room, which created some discomfort. At the time of payment, we were accompanied by a very kind young woman, speaking perfectly French, to whom we shared our comments. However, the manager present at his side had no word towards us, which we perceived as contempt. In terms of hygiene and details: • The truffle service on the risotto shocked us: the waiter handled the truffle for several tables without gloves. It is essential to serve the truffle with gloves, which has not been respected here. • The toilets were dirty and a lamp was missing, making the lighting insufficient. Another disappointing point: no nice dishes to accompany the dishes (except the dish around the egg). Always the same cutlery, pretty low-end. However, dishes are fully part of the gastronomic experience expected at this level. Regarding the attention paid to our special occasion, my husband had asked when booking a rose to mark our wedding anniversary. He was denied this, but a hand-drawn card had been placed on the table, a gesture we appreciated. Finally, it is important to note that the dinner itself was good, despite the numerous service deficiencies. Conclusion: An overall disappointing experience due to a service clearly not up to the standards of a 2-star restaurant, despite quality cuisine."

"The food was very good. We had dinner before a show and were in and out so quickly that we had time to kill before the show. Jennifer was very attentive as were the other servers in the restaurant who assisted."

"**GO TO METRO ESPRESSO INSTEAD** After ordering a side item and drinks, we waited over 40 mins before we decided to leave because we never received either. We even ordered a meal each during that time. When we told a waitress, who was not our original we were leaving due to the lack of service, we heard her ask the kitchen about the order and they replied they had no such order in. So the bartender that was taking care of us never put anything in nor brought us the drink that was asked for. 1000% horrible service. Do better. Hire better."

"2 stars for the very slow service. Took an hour wait for two bao buns. 35min into the wait, i get told by the staff that one of the items i ordered was sold out. The chicken one wasn’t the best tasting 5/10, the shrimp was decent 7/10."

"4th visit and each time is worse. Poor service, wrong order, no utensils, no napkins, overpriced. The wait time for food and drink order is ridiculously slow. Then add that not all that was ordered was received. Music entirely too loud for the small space. This place does not live up to what you see on its website"

"10/10 food and drinks every time. Honestly, the scratch kitchen quality is impressive! The reason for the 2 star is that this place has some of the most consistently worst service I've ever experienced in my life. Every visit I almost sigh walking in, knowing its gonna be a hassle to get in and get out. Working in the restaurant industry, I give a lot leniency and benefit of the doubt for service workers, but DAMN these people are just always bad here, busy or not!"

"10/10. The music hit just right, the staff treated me like family, and the food? Absolutely unforgettable. I ordered the Impossible burger, and let me tell you—I walked out glowing (and not just from the ice-cold Coronas). If you’re debating whether to go, stop. Just walk in and experience it yourself. And trust me… next time I’m in town, you’ll catch me there again. Btw, no food pics this time, the burger and fries looked so good, I forgot to take a pic."

"9/23/25: I came back just two days later for dinner again. This time I had the French Onion soup for the appetizer. It has a little bit of maybe an Asiago cheese kind of melted at the bottom of the cup, so make sure to scoop your spoon down the bottom with each bite. I added shrimp to the salmon dish this time. The shrimp are cooked in oil and garlic and then grilled. The quinoa did not taste like cinnamon this time. A little bit of the garlic from the shrimp must have gotten into the quinoa, I thought it made the quinoa taste great! This time, I ate all of the quinoa. The white cream served off to the side of the salmon was a bit more plentiful this time and I appreciated that because I loved dipping each bite of salmon into that cream sauce. For dessert, I chose the caramel gelato. They sprinkle a bit of graham cracker crumbs in the bottom of the ice cream dish, that was a nice treat :) This was sweeter than the cheesecake, but also slightly smaller, so for me, it was the perfect dose of sweetness. I’ll probably be switching between these two going forward. ———————————————————— 9/21/25: Great food! This is only the second time I’ve had dinner here (lunch twice as well), but both times they had a special prix-fixed menu option for $40. I love this menu because you get smaller portions of each dish. It allows me to have so many different flavors in one meal. The little gem Cesar is as you’d expect for a Cesar, so I was happy with that. The salmon had a slight cinnamon taste to it; I think the cinnamon came from the flavor in the quinoa. And that cheesecake was chef’s kiss… delicious. Made with local honey, it had the perfect creamy texture, and extra grahm cracker crust sprinkled around the edges, which I enjoyed. Service was excellent. I had Sophia, she’s so attentive and just a friendly person. It was pretty quiet. Granted I arrived at 9:15pm on a Sunday, but to my surprise two other groups of people arrived about 15 and 30 minutes after me. They close at 10pm, but happily seated each of us. ————- Normal valet is $25, but the restaurant will reduce it to $15."
