Our stay at the Fairmont Pacific Rim was, without question, the most exceptional luxury hotel experience I have ever had — and I have traveled extensively throughout Europe, the USA, Africa, and Asia. We stayed in a Gold Suite, and from the moment we arrived, every detail was flawless. The Gold experience felt truly elevated — private, refined, and thoughtfully curated. The restaurant was outstanding. We dined in a private room, the food was exceptional, and our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. The lounge and bar are stunning — trendy, beautifully designed, and vibrant — and again, the service was impeccable. The spa facilities are extraordinary. The hot tub, the hydrotherapy shower (absolutely to die for), and the spacious, spotless steam room created the most relaxing atmosphere. Everything throughout the hotel felt pristine, fresh, and meticulously maintained. One of the most thoughtful touches came Sunday morning when the concierge informed me they could arrange transportation to and from church. Not only did they provide a ride, but they also ensured I had bottled water for the journey. That level of service truly stands out. After church, I enjoyed breakfast overlooking the water — the view was breathtaking. The healthy, gluten-free options were excellent, and the cappuccino was perfection. When we checked out and valet brought our vehicle around, I was amazed to see that the inside of my car had been tidied and cleaned. It was such an unexpected and generous touch. Every element of our stay exceeded expectations. The Fairmont Pacific Rim sets the standard for luxury, service, and attention to detail. We are incredibly grateful for the experience and will absolutely be returning. Thank you for an unforgettable stay.
5 minutes from the station. The room is large and clean. Breakfast starts at 05:30, which is very convenient when you can't sleep due to jet lag. Great.
A 1 star hotel for a 5 star price. Rooms are unbelievably small and in poor condition but they seem to be reasonably clean. Window had a view of concrete wall. It was quiet.
1. So bad smell inside the room. INTOLERABLE 2. The bathroom and all the surfaces were extremely DIRTY. A General cleaning is needed. 3. The young girl who has duty in the evenings joked me. Television didn't work and I requested from her to fix it. She never responded. 4. Too much noise at night time. No any respect to the resting hours.
10/10 outstanding experience for my fluffy dog, my husband and I! The hotel is super clean and beautiful. Many dining options. We tried the food at both Den and Cure restaurants , both were amazing !!! Customer service was outstanding too! Super friendly staffs. The lake with lights on in the evening was so beautiful and magical !

Was very excited to stay here with my family for a staycation. Was surprised to find a 30 minute line up to check in on a Monday night, and only had 3 of 5 stations manned. Get upstairs to find dirty dishes from the previous guest on the floor, and the dishes stayed there until we left. They even added to the pile, whoever they is. Completely my fault, I forgot a pair of shoes in my room. I have called twice and was put through to housekeeping and after a week still I call back. Beautiful hotel but I am disappointed in the services. Hopefully I get my shoes back. Been a week with 3 voicemails and no call back. Shoes still missing. It’s a bad joke.

The rooms are always so clean and comfortable. The location is perfect; close to Stanley Park and lots of wonderful restaurants and the shopping district. The staff is exceptional, friendly and helpful.

This is the singular most disappointing place I have ever stayed by choice. The property is very worn out. It is dirty. Service: outside of the bellman, service is indifferent, distant and uninterested. The room was very dated. Clean is a subjective word. Will you get sick? No. Did you feel good about walking barefoot, No. Outstanding service can elevate a poor facility. That is not the case here. Food: We were there during the slow part of the slow season. I was hoping to at least have a decent meal. That didn’t happen. I was trying to find a reasonable comparison from previous travel. The buffet food on the last day of a Carnival Cruise is light years better. You will enjoy the food more at a Golden Coral. Pricing: This is more than The Wynn, Bellagio, The Ritz at Occonee etc. The pricing structure with add ons make the folks in Las Vegas look like rookies. Everything has several resort taxes. The historic preservation fund fee is laughable. The property is so run down it brings a tear to your eye. Bottom line, don’t waste your money. A staycation downtown at home with a meal at a nice restaurant would have been more memorable and considerably less money.

We arrived in Vancouver after staying in Whistler for a week. I was informed by a friend that North Vancouver was the best place to stay. Seaside Hotel was right in the area. I was a bit lost on how to get inside but when we figured that out it was a complete escape. The people were so friendly and helpful. They were quick at loading up our stuff to our room. Mark spent the extra time explaining the light switches, the taps and all the items the room came with. The cleaning staff the next day were all smiling and welcoming and despite the fact we said we didn’t need the bed made, they were still offering any help needed that they were there. This place is a great location and I would highly recommend
