Chicken was burnt and overcooked. Staff are lazy and was too busy on their phones most of the time. Place wasn't bus. The bathroom and seating areas were not cleaned properly. Items weren't stocked such as cups and utensils. This location is not like it use to be.

First time going to this restaurant and I had a mango smoothie and immediately I got food poisoning immediately!!! Having worked on the food industry I can only assume that they’re not cleaning their services from cross contamination and they may be using the same knives all day, long without cleaning them for the fish and the fruit together it was awful

Food has great flavor, but can definitely cut down on the sodium!!!!! Free miso is a plus except there’s nothing in it, no tofu or seaweed . Table top look clean but sticky meaning it was never scrub scrubbed just a light wipe .

A hidden gem in an area dominated by big box options. While the sign says Mediterranean, the owner is a woman of Lebanese descent slinging some of her favorite family recipes. Soulful is the word that repeatedly comes to mind when exploring the offerings of this tight menu. Fresh, flavorful, priced right, all in a clean and warm setting. Go in, talk to her, ask her what you need, listen to her tell you. You will be back. You will tell your coworkers. Go in through the Van Buren side of the building, walk past the Chase, and you’re well on your way to the best lunch you’re going to get in the area. And yes, I’m well aware of Sterling Food Hall.

Absolutely delicious! Celiac/Gluten Free friendly. I appreciate the customer service, fresh ingredients, and gluten free sauce options. The space is clean and welcoming atmosphere. Excited to go back soon!

Although a bit on the expensive side for this kind of buffet food, Beatrix is a clean, pleasant and dynamic lunch spot in downtown Chicago. The food is fresh and for the most part good (avoid the hummus, it’s gritty, none of the rich creamy quality of the original item). Pastries and coffee are particularly good. The little bar cum lunch room downstairs is also pretty nice and offers great happy hour deals. After being open on banking hours, they finally decided to extend the bar hours - good decision!

Awful! We waited 50 mins to only go in and order and have to wait another hour. They gave us a menu to order but maybe the girl didn’t explain clearly we thought it was take out but it was to cut the time. Then when our table was ready we had to wait on a line in the hallway the. To get to our table and wait 10 mins for them to clean it. The food finally came and not worth the wait at all would never ever go there again or recommend

Clean, simple table setting, slow service. Bread was good, but the oil served with it was cheap with a poor flavor. We had ravioli that barely had anything in it. It was undercooked (yes, I know what al dente is, but this was not it), with barely any ‘sauce’ on it. I will not return here.

Delicious food, great ambiance. Service was excellent. I went there for the vegetarian options. Bathrooms a bit tiny, but clean.

$15 for full Indian buffet in downtown Chicago in a very clean looking place is unbeatable! Food was good with naan to the table. Chicken tikka and gulab jamun on point. The rest of the food was average but overall great place for curry people and Indian food lovers.

A French standby in the Sofitel. Nicely presented and well flavored food. Had a very good duck breast. Service is excellent - professional and discreet. Nice wines by the glass. Cheese program balances local versus French imports - so nice choices. Good place for quiet business meal in very clean contemporary space.

Service was mechanical and cool. I felt like nobody cared if the experience was good. The business group was served family style which i dislike; but not the restaurant’s fault. What I did resent was that there was not enough food. One end of a very long table had twice as many dishes served,(I counted, Weird). This resulted in the “light ”end of the table serving themselves tiny portions so as not to “clean” the plate. It was super awkward to tell business acquaintances 10 feet away that they had all the food so nobody did. The one saving grace was that the food was very average and I’m on a diet. They did not have coffee that evening. If I need cool service, I’ll stick around the airport longer.

The BEST deep dish pizza, in my opinion, in Chicago. Lots and lots of cheese, toppings, and delicious crust how can you go wrong? We decided on spinach ( fresh) and mushroom and it was so worth the wait. The staff is friendly, helpful, and really wants you to enjoy your visit. Salads or appetizers to start if you are hungry while waiting. Clean restaurant and handicap accessible restrooms.
